Location was fantastic as it was close to the city, but far enough to be quiet. Daily breakfast was excellent. The shuttle service to the city is very useful. The staff was very helpful in booking taxis for us when needed. One day, we had an early tour and they even packed us breakfast bags to go.

We had booked the Annex room for our kids and it only had an exterior entrance. I wish that was made clear in the description.

The shuttle service was excilent. Beautiful villa with a magnificent garden and view. Perfect location, very helpful and friendly staff, especially Mario and Sarah. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast and lunch were always delicious.

It was a little bit uncomfortable position of the bed in my narrow room.

Very nice location, I’ve been there for the second time, the food is amazing, the staff as well. The room has been very nice, clean and quiet, the staff is always eager to help, they have shuttles to the city centre. The location of the hotel is up above the city and it offers an amazing sunset view.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Agape for 10 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is like a countryside palace, surrounded by enchanting English gardens that look like they’re straight out of a fairytale. My room was a masterpiece of stylish design, combining elegance with comfort, and the cleanliness was impeccable—easily one of the best I’ve experienced. Hotel Agape is not just a place to stay; it’s a retreat for guests seeking tranquility and charm. The convenience of their shuttle service made exploring Florence a breeze, as they arranged transportation to all the main tourist areas. This thoughtful service made my trip even more enjoyable. If I ever return to Florence, there’s no doubt that Hotel Agape will be my home again. I can’t recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough!

Nothing - Everything was perfect

I cannot say enough about this place! It was exactly what I wanted for my time in Florence and Tuscany. The property is gorgeous The staff is amazing. There was a train strike, they helped us figure it out and made sure we were ok. The restaurant although very good, didn’t change while we were there. We were there during the week, not sure when the menu changes The bartender makes an amazing Negroni! ( Hail Queen of the Negroni!) They do have transportation to Florence so even though you are out of city central you have access and the view is worth the extra time ! This was one of our favorite places

We wanted to stay in an Italian Villa and the hotel is just that. Lovely large room with a window that overlooked the fountain lawn. The bathroom was not large but functional. Breakfast had a good selection including fresh made juices. The automatic coffee machine did a good job as well. The hotel is a distance from the city centre - we didn't walk from the hotel but rather opted for the shuttle which was available during certain time on call with the last pick at 8pm. There are 2 drop off/pick up the second being the closest to the city about 15min walk. The hotel restaurant was recommended to us by some other guest but we didn't try it opting to discover the local places near the drop off. The staff were very engaged and aways helpful.

This is probably the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in , in Italy. The gardens are just stunning and having breakfast and dinner on the terrace was magical. The rooms have been beautifully styled and the common areas have been beautifully restored. The location is excellent, away from the madding crowds, and in a very stunning neighbourhood where there is a free shuttle bus to take you into the old town of Florence. The quality of the food in the restaurant was first class and all staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. This was a real find and a great place to explore Florence .

It was all perfect, my only suggestion is that the locked safe should be more accessible as crawling on the floor for some people could be an issue.The fridge could have been a little colder but we did arrive in an extreme heat episode! I have stayed in other less expensive hotels and the water, beer and soft drinks were free whereas here you had to pay for them.

Breakfast was a highlight—an outstanding Italian spread with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The made-to-order fresh juices were a lovely touch that elevated the experience. Another great perk was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Florence city, making it incredibly convenient to explore without any hassle. With such excellent service and amenities, we will definitely be returning for another stay!

Dinner in the garden was especially wonderful--interesting, well-prepared meals in a gorgeous setting. Staff were very helpful when we had questions or problems. Above all, being able to return to such a serene space after a day in the city, among crowds of tourists, really made a difference in our experience of Florence. The shuttle made it possible to move between the center city and the hotel with relative ease.

The room was a little small but that is usual in European hotels. I am happy to find fresh and dried fruit at breakfast, but the fruit wasn't really ripe.

The location on the Tuscan hills overlooking Florence was just amazing!! You can reach the property without going into the ZTL (zone with limited traffic) of Florence. Facility provides a shuttle service to access Florence downtown (which has ZTL) The gardens on the hills and landscaping is just amazing to enjoy. Staff is super helpful

Maybe a better lift (as the current one is a retrofit into a very old beautiful mansion) Also maybe a 24/7 concierge or bellman would be good to help arriving customers during the evening times.
