We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Silla. On the whole it was fine - bed was comfy, room was clean and we felt it was a good location away from the hoards of the city. Complimentary breakfast was simple but good; fruit, pastries, pancakes, yoghurt and a continental mix of cheese, meat and bread.

There are absolutely no quiet rooms here, both sides of the hotel face roads and we were woken by loud drilling and banging from workmen outside of the hotel at 6am both mornings. Most staff were unhelpful but Laura at reception was outstanding - really going out of her way to accommodate our requests. She was friendly and welcoming and restored our faith in the hotel’s other shortcomings!

We loved the location, on the opposite side of the river from the main sights and the mass of tourists, but only a 10/15 min walk away. The room was spacious enough, and was very clean and comfortable, not to mention cool, the Aircon was very welcome and worked well. The staff were very friendly, always smiling. The buffet breakfast on the terrace was very nice with a good selection of sweet and savoury choices. The tea and coffee station in the afternoon was also a nice addition, as well as the free water refills. Overall a great stay.

This hotel has a fabulous location. You’re over the river so it’s a bit less chaotic. It’s out of the ZTL so you can drive there and they have a garage onsite which is really easy. That said Google Maps wanted to take us over the river into the ZTL to get there (a road was closed which I think confused it!) so we had to pull over and call the hotel. Chiara was very helpful in navigating us and she was so kind and friendly when we finally arrived. We had a quadruple room with a double bed and two single beds which was perfect for our teenagers. The double bed was the most comfortable yet! The breakfast was perfect - the pancake machine was a hit! We would definitely recommend.

A great variety for breakfast, pretty much anything you could want and all very good and well presented, the coffee was perfect and plentiful. We ate on the terrace with views of the city just over the river, a five to ten minutes walk and you are in the city. The location was perfect for wandering either in its neighbourhood or in the city and close enough to walk to all the main attractions. We walked over at night after a lovely meal near the hotel and it was very pretty with all the little lights. The hotel rooms are very nice and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to one of the recently renovated rooms which was spacious and fab bathroom.

Nothing, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Florence and doesn't want to be in the thick of it as its beautiful, in the perfect spot and the staff are lovely, just a great place all round.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Silla and were welcomed with hospitality and impeccable service. The location is great, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The room was cozy and spotless, and the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Also, the breakfast was incredible, offering a variety of options to suit every taste!

The hotel is located in a historic house in the old town, so it is very cozy and nice to stay there. And the rooms themselves are quite modern, which makes your stay even more pleasant. The location is quite convenient, you can walk to the center of the old town in 15-20 minutes.

Breakfast is really poor. When the food runs out, it is almost never served again. We were also very surprised that there were no vegetables for breakfast, and after all, Italy grows so many tomatoes and cucumbers :)

Superb location near to everything. Comfort bed which we sleep soundly until the next day. Near to attraction and old town, I like the artistic and handmade shops behind the hotel.

During check out time, the receptionist ask for the payment but luckily we keep the copy of payment and they found it too at system later.

If there was 10 stars I would give 10 stars. It’s a perfect hotel , very good breakfast, very well located with a parking area that is rare in Firenze. The staff is amazing, we had a health situation and they were incredible, kindly and professional. If you want to stay in Firenze with comfort and safety this is the best place to stay.

The location was the best feature. The city center in Florence is very busy, being located across the Arno river was so nice. Right behind the hotel was a quaint neighborhood with shops and restaurants in residential. This was the Italian experience we desired. Would highly recommend Breakfast was very good and had a great terrace for eating or cocktail

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Silla in Florence. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the city. I highly recommend Hotel Silla for a great stay in Florence.
