The location was amazing, easy to walk to all the main areas of Florence but not right in the centre where it is very busy. The area was very trendy with lots of nice coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. It was also very close to the river which was lovely to walk along in the morning. The room was big and airy, very clean and the beds were really comfortable. We didn't see many staff members while staying and had more of an airbnb feel but we didn't mind this.

As it had more of an airbnb feel, you couldn't order room service etc. but this didn't bother us.

I loved the location of the guest house and the lovely complementary breakfast at the downstairs cafe! With the supermarket next door, just so conveinient! I loved the cleanliness, the detailed instructions and the efficiency of the staff.

I loved my room and I was aware it had a separate bathroom which was lovely. The bedroom was cosy, I wish it had a nicer view with a bit nore light, but all the facitlities were good. Thank you, I would love to stay here again, but in a larger room.

Location was perfect. Great area and close to everything you want to see and experience: attractions, wine window, food, taxis, river and very save during day and tight time etc. The old building added more charm to our trip and we loved it.

Our room was small, we only slept there though so suited our needs. But if you are an overpacker and stay for an extended period it might be a bit tight.

This place is an absolute gem! It is located in a perfect spot to explore the beautiful city of Florence by foot. On a main street, next to a supermarket, yet our room was facing an inner yard so it was super quiet and great for sleeping after a long day. The bed was huge and super comfy and there is AC in the room - super important! The place was old and very charming and we didn’t lack anything during our stay. While there was nobody at the desk (it is a BnB) we received all the information necessary to check in and get our keys as we arrived quite late - no issues there. Everything is walking distance - main tourist attractions, museums, good food and coffee. Honestly couldn’t imagine choosing a better place.

Great location. Easy to check in. Bathrooms are clean overall great location with a great price. Location couldn’t be better for price. Clean beds. Lots parking on river. So close to food shops and all the places you want to eat at.

The floor was a little bit dusty. And the air conditioning could be a little cooler but a few dabs would have been perfect.

Best (firm/hard) mattress I ever had in a hotel/accommodation. Very central. Very clean. Kettle and minibar were practical and even a supermarket is next to the building. The separate bathroom was directly across from my room, so that I didn´t have to go far to reach it.

Nothing serious, but for the sake of completeness: I hadn´t received the self-check-in information when I arrived, so I had to call the owner. This was difficult as there was no network available directly in front of the door. So, I had to wander around to be able to make the phone call (near a window in the corridor it worked).

We loved the rooms and the fact that we fell at home. Gabriel was so kind and prompt with a smile and simply amazing!! The rooms were clean and we could use the little kitchen for coffee and store our breakfast things in the fridge. And the frescoes on the ceiling! The other 2 rooms we had booked, were all very clean, simple and cozy, and with air conditioning! Which is a major plus in July! 😊 We loved the place, there is also a convenience store right beside the guesthouse and only a 7 minute walk from the Uffizzi Gallery, Galileo museum; 3 minute walk to Sta. Croce church AND the hop-on-off bus stops about 20 m from our door 😎

The important thing to understand about this place is that it is a guest house, not a hotel, so there is no 24/7 reception, and no making the beds during your stay, however this was not a problem for us. We got fresh towels twice throughout our 5 night stay (which is great for the planet - less CO2) and we could always reach out the personal early in the mornings or send a WhatsApp for the most urgent things (expect some delay in the answer). Check in was done remotely through WhatsApp with no trouble (we arrived at 9 pm). We could have used more coffee pads for their extraordinary expresso machine at the reception though 😉 Please note that in your booking it states there will be some extra tax charges to be paid in situ, so you don't feel ripped off when the time comes.

The location is 10 minutes walking distance from the Piazza della Signoria and 15 minutes from the Cathedral. The road in between has many restaurants and shops. It also has a supermarket nearby. You don't need the host to open the front door of the building for you.

The room is one of the rooms in a large apartment. The room space is relatively small for four adults. There is no microwave in the room.

Location, environment to enjoy local citizens' life (typical old Europe type of apartment). We made a spontaneous reservation at night when decided to stay in Florence and despite that it was self-check-in it was fast and easy. Thanks to a man who guides us during check-in. Also, somehow we enjoyed an Italian breakfast at this apartment despite the fact that usually, we love eggs and vegetables at breakfast (which were not offered this time).

The location is excellent. Supermarket very close. Breakfast was fine. The room was quiet and comfortable.

The air conditioning repeatedly turned itself off in the night, but we fixed it by fiddling with the batteries, no problem. The cable tv was hit and miss whether it worked or not (Amazon Prime), but again, it was not too big a problem, and we enjoyed our stay.
