Location was perfect!! Walking distance to all attractions and we walked everywhere! Our Host was so welcoming and explained some really great places to see and also restaurants nearby. The accommodation was so clean, fresh and bathroom was great. There was also a beautiful outdoor sitting area to share with the other guests if we wished to use it. We had a wonderful stay!! Highly recommend!!

Location is perfect for all the main sites but just off the main streets for a bit of quietness at night. Surrounded by very good restaurants and a couple of minutes walk from the river. Owner was very friendly and helpful - he pointed out all the best places to go.

Although described as a BnB, San Remigio is really just the accommodation. There is no breakfast on site though there are shared kitchen facilities. The owner gives you a card for a 5% discount at a fairly pricey and not too friendly cafe opposite. The city tax is €6 per person per night

The location is ideal for visiting the main sight seeing of Florence. The street is relatively quiet. We asked for hard mattresses and they were perfect! The room was super clean and was cleaned everyday. The B&B does not offer breakfast but one can find bars to get or buy breakfast few meters away from the B&B. We took our breakfast on the terrace which was awesome. Andrea and his staff are very nice and helpful.

The following comments are no complains but might be helpful for some people. There was one nice looking chair (old fashion!!) in the room but it was broken. If one needs to write, it is not comfortable in the room. One can use the kitchen or terrace to sit. The B&B is at the first floor, one should be fit to get up the stairs (with suitcases). We knew that in advance because this information is written in the description. It is therefore not suitable for people with walking problems.

Our stay at B&B San Remigo was absolutely wonderful! 1. The two of us had two very large suitcases, and Andrea was incredibly thoughtful, helping us carry them up and down the stairs during both check-in and check-out. We are truly grateful! 2. As soon as we met Andrea, he enthusiastically provided us with a map, introduced nearby transportation options and restaurants, and even explained in detail how to get from the B&B to the airport when we departed to Hong Kong. On our last day, he was still attentive, making sure we understood where to catch the bus and transfer at the airport. He is truly a host who genuinely cares about his guests. 3. The room was impeccably clean and well-equipped. We felt completely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. If we have the chance to visit Florence again, we will definitely choose to stay here again! Highly recommended!

Very well located, close to the major sites in Florence. The host, Andrea, was very helpful and carried my suitcase up the stairs to the B&B Kitchen with fridge and bottled water very useful and welcome.

The lighting in our room was a bit dim - but we managed. There was also noisy people in the street outside on at least 2 early mornings (4am) which woke us up but obviously this is not in control of the establishment. No breakfast despite called a B&B

We loved our stay here. Andrea was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. He showed us around and gave us a map and tips on where to see, eat, and how to get the buses. We were also able to keep our bags in the communal area before and after check in/out which was really handy as it's not fun to cart a big suitcase around the cobbles of Florence. The room was gorgeous, with a big window looking out onto the street below and a modern bathroom. The communal spaces were clean and tidy, with a really lovely outside terrace. Communication with Andrea was easy via WhatsApp and he was able to answer all our questions. The location was incredible. Really close to so many points of interest, especially Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio, with lots of cafes and restaurants around too. Although it was in a busy area the room was on a quiet street so there wasn't much noise when trying to sleep. Would 100% stay again!

Andrea was an outstanding host. He spent half an hour showing us the best of Florence on a map and couldn’t have been more accommodating. He even made a reservation for us at a restaurant which only took phone bookings (La Fettunta; highly recommended). The hotel itself is lovely: great location, spotlessly clean, and there are great facilities with the terrace and kitchen. If I had to nitpick, I would say the WiFi is a little inconsistent, but that’s such a minor thing and overall fantastic.

The room was very spacious and the location was perfect, walking distance to the Duomo and other attractions. We paid for the breakfast $8.00 with a voucher. The breakfast location was in the corner of the B&B. Excellent breakfast. Andre, the owner was amazing! Very accommodating. My husband had a problem with the pillows the first night and I requested for a softer pillows. Andre made this happened. He was also very helpful in booking the taxi to the airport.

I have two suggestions, not complaints. It will be nice to have a light fixture in the shower. Also, the shower door didn't close all the way.

Everything! The owner was so accommodating! He met us at the door and provided us with a map pointing out places of interest and making restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful, roomy and very clean. It was located in a small alley very close to the Uffizi and walkable to everything. The patio was magical and we made a point to sit on it every night to enjoy the fresh air and ambiance. The shared kitchen was a luxury. There is noise from the street at night but if you have the air conditioner on you will not hear it. There are steps to get to the B&B so if you are mobility impaired be informed. The owner kindly carried my bag up for me. We would not consider staying anywhere else if we ever return to Florence. It was perfect!

We loved it here. It's so centrally located, an easy walk to all the main attractions in the centre including the Duomo, Piazza de la Signoria, the Uffizi and over the bridge to Piazzale San Michelangelo. We did a LOT of walking around and it was great to be able to pop back for a break before heading out again as the location was so central. There were lots of shops and restaurants on the main road you come back to reach Via Rustici (where the property is located), so we felt safe coming back even later at night. Despite being close to the centre it's on is quiet road and the room felt very peaceful. It was lovely be close enough to hear the famous Florentine bells (familiar from watching A room with a view!). The beds were comfortable and the rooms was really spacious. The hosts were charming and welcoming, on hand on arrival and responsive to any texts with a question. It was handy to have the kitchen and use of a small, shared fridge. The air con was very welcome and worked really well which was a relief as we came during a hot spell. We would definitely stay here again another time and would highly recommend. There's a pasticceria right opposite to grab pastries for breakfast, either to bring back to the kitchen, or eat at the tables right there and no shortage of restaurants on surrounding streets (and a fruit shop a couple of streets away).

Not really a negative - but there is a flight of stairs to get up on arrival and no lift/elevator, so worth being aware of this for anyone with mobility challenges. The hosts were happy to help with luggage etc.
