We really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Great staff that were helpful, clean rooms and overall facility was quite pleasant. Would highly recommend staying here! Also to note: We walked from the train station which took approx 20-25 min., and the hotel is in walking distance to all major attractions in Florence!

Few things to note: 1) Entrance is confusing: do not go to the gate that has Maison Santa Croce on it. You will enter next door and ring the bell for Maison du sage which is where check in occurs on the second floor. 2) We also arrived back to our room after a few hours to find our door wide open. Fortunately nothing was missing. 3) Would not recommend paying the extra money for breakfast (it was good however not worth the price tag). Lots of cafes and a grocery store around the corner for reasonable price options.

Good location near the city center, rooms were elegant and very spacious, wonderful staff, good breakfast, nice toiletries in the bathroom and a very spacious shower. I used to work in hospitality so I have very high expectations. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful, and all my expectations for service were met with satisfaction. Lapo was working the front desk during our stay and he was always very happy to help us with all of our needs. He provided us with great restaurant recommendations and helped us find a spa in the city. The hotel should be proud of hiring Lapo. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

The air conditioning was difficult to use. I would recommend some kind of written operating instructions for the guests. The hotel is new and undergoing final renovations. The main entrance is not completed yet, and you must use the side entrance which was confusing at first. Just call the front desk and they will assist you.

I'll start with the staff as they could not be more helpful and courteous, spoke perfect English. The room was impeccable, really spacious and very well appointed. We chose the breakfast included option and so happy that we did, it varied every morning, its delivered to your room at your specified time. We had a call to see if there was anything we did or didn't like. The Hotel is perfectly situated about 30 metres from Santa Croce, no noise at night and aircon worked perfectly. Amazing accommodation we are looking to re book.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is 3 minutes from Santa Croce and the beautiful plaza. It took us about 10 minutes to walk everywhere. My room was beautifully decorated and the shower in the bathroom was awesome.

The breakfast selection was repetitive, and the eggs were cold (not kept cold). My AC did not operate well and the TV is very difficult to operate and no instructions provided. The reception leave by 18:00 and no one to call for simple assistance (like how to operate the TV or AC).

Nice and clean hotel in a good location. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Unfortunately the AC didn’t work properly. We let the person at reception know when we left the room in the morning, she said she would take care of it but when we came back at night, it still wasn’t working. The temperature in the room was almost 27 degrees Celcius. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep well. I would have given a higher rating if it wasn’t for that.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting the attractions. The bathroom facilities were great. Wonderful breakfast delivered each morning to our room.

Street noise in early morning and noisy air conditioning that struggled to keep up (to be fair we were there in a record heat wave). We wore ear plugs to aid sleep.

Great location, good ambiance, large room, helpful and nice staff.

Our air conditioning would never cool down as much as we wanted. They did send someone when we checked in, who at least got it started and then we failed to ask for assistance later because it appeared to be working but stayed at a higher temperature than desired and was past office hours. We should have given them another chance to fix.

Amazing little boutique hotel. Just oppened 2 months ago everything brand new. Excellent location. Clean modern very nice decorated. Highly reccomended
