The view and quietness of the location. Staying there we had the great opportunity to meet Michele who is so kind and so helpful. The breakfast was one of our favourite times of day due to the way Michele prepared the food and setting the table, all on the terrace with the most stunning view I saw in an accomodation.

Not linked to the property at all, just have in mind it is located up in the hill area and the bus station is 10 min walk. The beach area is reachable by minibus, car or moto. Walking is also an option (30 mins or so) but be careful as the roads are narrow and there are no pavements. The minibus for me was such an opportunity to get to know the Ischia life and the people staying there and culture, I really loved it.

My favorite place I've ever stayed. It felt like being at home. Michele was so kind and accommodating. He made us breakfast each morning and made my friend her coffee. The room was always exceptionally clean, and restocked daily. It was very cozy and had a lovely terrace. WiFi was strong all over the property. Nice short walk (10 minutes) into the town with a bus station. The views from the property were breathtaking. The staff were so kind. I can't stress this enough. Michele offered to pick us up from the port (included in our stay), and dropped us off when we departed. Would absolutely book again, and recommend everyone visiting the island should!

The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. They managed everything for us. The picked us up from the boat and managed rental scooters up to the hotel and vice versa. Very calm area with a beatiful view. Perfect for a quick run down to the beach for a swim before the amazing breakfast is served if you like running!

Nothing really that I didnt like but if you dont fancy a little walk and you dont have a scooter it takes about half an hour to walk down to the city center. But I promise you its worth it for the view!

Location was superb, the view from my room and from the breakfast terrace was like a dream. Quiet area, a few minutes from the city. The hosts were so kind & careful, always present, willing to help. Breakfast was super traditional & made with love every morning!

The beds were too hard for me, unfortunately. I also thought that reaching the beaches would be a bit easier, but the location is up the hill, so you would need a scooter/ car/ bus to get even to the nearest beach (which is fine, I just didn't look into it before).

A stunningly beautiful little B&B, run by the loveliest hosts you could imagine. They not only fetched us from the ferry and took us back but also arranged for a scooter to rent for us and took us to there to pick it up! It felt like staying with family. The location of La Pergola is also amazing – close enough from the port and main town of Ischia to be easily accessible by bus but far enough to leave the bustle of town behind. Breakfast was nice (pastries, bread, fruit, cheese, sausage, freshly made coffee/tea...) and there are great restaurants within walking distance for dinner. There is also one beach that can be reached by foot, others by bus or scooter. Value for money at La Pergola is incredible. We would give 20 stars if we could!

Beautiful location. The owners don't speak English, but they are very friendly and willing to pick you up at the ferry if you contact them ahead on Whatsapp. The property is located on a hill and most taxis cannot access it by the road. We did a lot of walking but it was absolutely beautiful and just what we wanted. Hidden gem!

If you want to be conveniently located close to one of the main towns, this place might be a little far (and requires a lot of walking). That said, the buses in Ischia were great—clean and very reliable. Hotel facilities were excellent.

The place was amazing, beautiful view while having breakfasts. Amazing breakfasts with the best cappucino :) The hospitality of the owner and his family was enormous (even pick-up after arrival with the ferry, and return to the port). Very nice communication before and throughout our stay. If you look for a calm place, just choose this one. The connection with bus is easy to understand, you have to walk cca 10 mins to reach the accomodation. You will experience more colours of Ischia than in touristic centers.

I feel like there are no words to describe this experience, I felt lucky to have found this absolute gem! This place made me come to Ischia, I imagined myself seeing the castle and drinking my cappuccino there and that dream became reality! The owner, Michele, is amazing, he offered to pick us up from the port, and helped us rent a car in a short notice, after we discovered you need quite the experience to drive a scooter on those roads. We asked him to cook dinner for us, and had the most amazing local recipe of rabbit and parmigiana, paired with a local wine. Michele has been a chef for 40 years, so we felt lucky to have tried his food! The breakfast was the same everyday, typically Italian and I enjoyed it with that amazing view! It's more remotely located, but the view is everything, I wouldn't trade a more central location for this one. Felt like heaven! The room is cleaned everyday, the towels changed and the bathroom is very big. You can see the sunrise from this location and it's amazing! Enjoy the quiet, calm, the glimmering blue sea, the magnificent castle, a cappuccino, just breathe and feel at peace!

We couldn't see the castle at all from our room, the view was partially obstructed. Would request a different room in the future.

Most incredible views from the terrace! The spacious terrace overlooks the sea and the islands as well as the Castle of Aragon. Host went to the great lengths to ensure our comfort collecting us from the port and making sure we are happy with our stay. The host prepared the breakfast according to our needs and it was fresh and tasty. We were very impressed with the service at this property! There is a hotel in a short walking distance that serves excellent food and the prices are very reasonable. Good vegetarian options too. All in all, highly recommended!

No complaints at all about the property, but the property is located rather far up the hill and the public transport on Ischia is not great to say it mildly so it is best to have the car to get there.
