I suppose, breakfast is in the same format throughout Italy, as we stayed in Rome, Florence & La Spezia. Room was definitely large and spacious. I had a free parking inside the hotel premise which is excellent as the Blue Line parking though cheap in La Spezia are still paid parking. I used EasyPark application for the payments and it picks up based on the car location and zone.

Nothing related to Hotel Ghironi. La Spezia is a beautiful but if planned well, better to book the train for the 5 famous tourist destination across the coastal or trek early instead of starting the journey mid day.

Very spacious rooms that were very clean. The staff was very welcoming , helpful, and friendly.

The location was not in walking distance to the main attractions . It was difficult to find our way back to the hotel after being out and about. Dinner was a disappointment because it did not reflect authentic Italian flavor(sauce tasted like it came from a can, pasta was not freshly made, chicken legs were cold and dry).

It’s near the motorway, so, it’s perfect when you pass through and need a place to stay for a night or two. It’s not as near that you hear the traffic- it’s a quiet area. They also have a big parking space outside the hotel. While there’s no camera surveillance it is still safe as it is guarded by a fence and a gate. The room was large and clean and also had a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast was abundant and the staff was super friendly.

The staff! Five stars The location is quite in a working person neighborhood. If you want to get a deal for how the average Italian lives. With out the tourist vibe in your face. This hotel is perfect.

Besides the entire hotel staff being amazing. The breakfast and dinner options were all delicious. Price for dinner is fair and it includes a.25 liter of wine. If you are not eating at the hotel restaurant your options are very limited!

Very polite and professional staff as ever. Free secure parking. Easy and fast check in. Very good breakfast and coffee. Room was clean and spacious. They met our requests. Big bathroom, nice view from the terrace. Big TV and minibar in the room.

Too small breakfast area for such a big hotel. No gym.

The staff was great, especially Cathy from the front desk. Sweet & very polite lady! The breakfast was amazing, even better than some 4-star hotels we’ve been recently. The room was beautiful,nice furniture and equipped with all the amenities. It even had a type C & USB plug!!

Even though the Hotel is not the newest everything is clean and beds are confy. The staff are really outstanding and very helpful Breakfast is good and plantyful.

Location is not the best, but there are a few bus stations in a 5-10min walking distance. Not much You can do around.

The receiption lady was so nice and kind. She gave us all the needed info for the stay immediately when we checked in. Overall a nice hotel, worth of the value.

The location is off the center, but that was my own choice without prior knowledge. Hiwever it offered free parking.

Breakfast was ok, room size sufficient for family, balcony as an advantage. Kind and helpful staff.

A long distance to the city centre, It's a challenge if you don't have shuttle bus booked (there & return) to reach main train station (start point to the Cinque Terre). Late return with train from Cinque Terre means you need to catch taxi or there is a long walking distance.
