I really enjoyed my stay. I was traveling by myself for 3 nights. It was easy to coordinate check-in. All of the staff throughout my stay were so friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern very functional. Good blackout drapes. Barely any noise from the street and no noise from other rooms. I was a little nervous about having 3 different keys to get into my room, but everything worked perfectly. The courtyard and breakfast were beautiful. It feels like a hotel, just with fewer rooms and reception hours during the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, good location

Our room (No 1) was very spacious and modern, but lacked many basic requirements for a hotel room. There were no bedside lights or tables, nowhere to store small clothing items such as underwear, socks etc). Nowhere to store suitcases. There was a dressing table but no mirror for a lady to use for make-up. There was only one plug socket making it difficult to charge phones etc. Finally the room was quite austere and would benefit from some large art prints on the walls to make it more comfortable. Finally the bath in the bedroom seemed unnecessary although would perhaps appeal to some guests.

The location of Lucus B&B is pleasingly tranquil by historic Lucca standards''' turn left out of the front door and 50 yds to the cross road there's a quaint family Restaurant , OR by turning right out of the front door and a hundred yards away you're right in the thick of it.. shops, bars restaurants and "history"! As for the staff they could not have been more helpful, more charming and with particular reference to Serena, who was at the property to greet us when we arrived, and who instantly remedied a couple of minor 'room' issues . Breakfast is taken down in the garden area which again is surprisingly sedate given the privileged location. ONLY 1 thing I missed was English speaking BBC world TV and Al Jazeera on the telly!

The B&B was in a delightful. traditional property, set around a courtyard and lovely garden. There were sunbeds and umbrellas in the garden. It was in a quiet street within the walled city. Our room had a garden view. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of fresh fruit and juice. The eggs were cooked to order.

Our room was rather small and there was no bedside tables, There was a closet with hanging space and plenty of hangers but no drawers to put away small items. The breakfast room was a bit small and dark, and had no natural light.

Excellent service from reception who are helpful and friendly. They accommodated my late arrival and also arranged the taxi from Pisa airport. The room was comfortable and the premises had a great atrium in which you can have breakfast. Great location in Lucca inside the wall and close to everything, there is god AC in the unit (much needed with the 34 degree heat and humidity!) and breakfast had more than enough choice. Only slight quibble is that reception is not manned continuously 24/7, but its not really much of a problem since they reply to messaging through booking.com in a timely manner (this is how I arranged for my late arrival). Altogether a great experience and I would certainly book again. Highly recommend.

The staffs are exceptional! They are very nice and welcoming. The room was also very clean. It was quiet, but we could hear people eating breakfast as it room was near the breakfast area, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Overall we had a great stay! We only stayed for one night. We regretted not staying more, as we loved Lucca. Would definitely recommend!

We liked everything! But if we are going to comment on something maybe the breakfast could be better. Not much options, but it was still nice breakfast overall.

Charming small boutique hotel in an ideal location for all of Lucca's wonderful sights. The beauty of this establishment is hidden behind the front, street door....just wait until it opens and see for yourself. Gorgeous garden area to sit out and enjoy the afternoon/evening sun and have a dip in the fountain ⛲️ The rooms are well appointed, very clean, great shower pressure, comfortable bed and fully functional air con. Room safe, spare pillows etc. Staff were lovely and made you feel so welcome. It's a quiet area but close enough to a wonderful array of shops and restaurants. You won't be disappointed 👌🏻 Just wish we could have stayed longer! We WILL be back. Thanks everyone x

Absolutely nothing!

Fantastic location , easily within walking distance from train station tucked away from the tourist hotshots which was very good and so quiet at night. ,The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us .. recommended atleast a dozen restaurants during our stay which were absolutely delicious.. Spotlessly clean hotel our room was huge with bath in bedroom , beds were super comfy I don't think I've ever slept so well, First time in Lucca but will not be our last and will book our breaks in line with the availability of this hotel

The hotel and location were great. A bit off the beaten path, so spot was quiet but not too far. Room was beautiful and garden was inviting and a nice respite. The staff, I don't remember her name, was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was great

Perfect location, near to the walls and restaurants but very quiet at night so a good night’s sleep . Wonderful sunny garden to enjoy in the afternoons when returning from sight seeing.

We stayed in room 4 where lighting in shower room was very poor. We are in our 70’s so found the shower very challenging as we couldn’t see our surroundings. Air con in room not adequate.
