The staff were absolutely amazing. I have never been to a hotel with staff as friendly as this place, it was fantastic! The services were fantastic. It was such a shame we weren't there for long. Great location, easy bus straight to Venice city. So close to the train station.

The shower pressure was quite poor, it was like mist so felt colder than it was. It might just be standard services in Italy which I am not use to in the UK,but after our first night our room was cleaned, I had some "personal" belongings on the bed which had been touch to remake our bed. I would have preferred that to have been left.

Hotel Adria seems to be a family run business located a 10 minute walk up a main (but quiet) road from the train/bus station - friendly desk staff. Our room was on the main floor facing the road - but we didn't notice any noise while in the room. Clean, good size basically appointed hotel room. Didn't try the available breakfast - it can be arranged the day before for an extra charge (12 Euro p.p. in June 2023). Lots of coffee bars in the area for your "pastry / coffee" breakfast and several grocery stores / convenience stores along the main road for snacks/drinks. The main lounge has a sort of mini bar where the reception can serve you coffee, water, some drinks and snacks for a nominal cost (we didn't try it). This was a great option for us to see Venice for the 5th time without staying at (much) more expensive places on the island (as we have done before) with easy access to Venice proper by a 10 minute train ride (1.45 euro each way). We would stay in Mestre again on future visits to Venice and commute.

The Booking.com profile says the room facilities include kettle and coffee maker - when we book we usually look for that convenience - but the room we were assigned didn't have these...maybe they believe the common area bar qualifies, but as you pay to be served at the lobby bar we wouldn't agree with that (maybe they would have given us hot water for the tea we travel with, but we didn't ask). Small note - the air conditioner fan in room 104 squeals when it runs on medium or high.

An easy walk from the train station, or take the tram if you prefer. The rooms were a good size, with good air conditioning. The staff were all attentive and spoke good English. The coffee machine in the breakfast room had a nice selection and the WiFi worked well. A very handy map of Venice is provided in the room, allowing you to keep your phone out of sight during a visit.

The shower is very small and squeezing a bidet and a seat into the bathroom is a little optimistic. Sound proofing could be a little better. The breakfast is basic but perfectly acceptable.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10 the staff deserves a 12. The ladies at the reception are very helpful and friendly and the cleaning lady cleaned the room every day, changed the towels and even folded my pajamas. Everything flawless. The room was extremely clean and the linen and towels looked impeccable. The bed was comfortable. The location is very close to the Mestre train station - 15 minutes waking and 15-20 minutes with the bus from Venice.

From the comments I read that some rooms are renovated. My room was not. Not so beautiful but ok. As i said it was extremely clean which is much more important than a modern room. The nights was cold and when I turned on the air conditioner it was very noisy. It works fine but very noisy

What a nice surprise. A good find. A nice clean property with a spacious room. Bathroom and shower a little small but functional and clean. Comfortable but firm bed. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Easy check-in. Good location with public transport (buses and trams) stops very close by. Also, the main train terminal not far away either. Within walking distance to the main square and restaurant/cafe hub of Mestre. What a nice surprise is Mestre. Plenty to see and enjoy and for less than half the price of Venice which is only a cheap bus or train ride away (15-20 mins). Less than 30 mins from Marco Polo airport. Secure area to leave luggage if required. Happy to recommend Hotel Adria.

Good location, 10-15 minutes walk to the train station where you can reach Venice. Couple of supermarkets nearby, very convenient. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, friendly stuff.

Keep in mind that the room does not have the blankets to sleep with. The staff may provide them upon request, but they are usually short on them. We received only one blanket, and another one was provided unfortunately only on the last day of our stay. Sound isolation is not the best, you can literally hear people talking in the room next to you. Would not recommend to those who want quiet stay.

we only spent one night on our way to Rome here. It is close to train station (we walked app 15 minutes there with my 12 y old daughter on Saturday night around 11pm and felt pretty safe). Our train got broken so instead of 8pm we arrived at 11pm. But reception is 24 hours so it was not a problem. Guy at reception even helped us with luggage to 2nd floor as there was not elevator. room was spacious, clean as well as bathroom.

what was really disturbing was sound maybe from the outside ventilator or from somewhere but as we were pretty tired we felt asleep. but it was really disturbing (we were on the 2nd floor)

Overall, Hotel Adria was a great value stay for us during our trip to Venice. The breakfast was an additional 12 Euros, so we did not get it. The room was nothing fancy, but had enough space and was clean. The location was great -- just a 12 minute walk from the main train station to get to Venice and near several bus stations. The staff member we checked in and out with was extremely friendly. He helped us store our bags securely after we checked out. We had a great stay!

The hotel is close to Venice Mestre train station (both by public transport and by foot). Staff was friendly and helpful, the room clean. We've found it good value for money overall.

Would have appreciated blinds on the windows like most our accomodation in Italy had, but the curtains have also done a fair job darkening the room. Breakfast was quite basic and we've found some food not entirely fresh (slightly moldy tomatoes and sticky slices of ham).

Car was in a private car park of the hotel so very safe. Its outside Venice itself and there is a bus stop 2 mins away so it's easy to get into Venice without worrying about the ZTL zone. Room was clean, air con was good, beds were comfortable. Really good bathroom.

We were told it was 24/7 reception but twice when we needed to get out at night the reception was unmanned and the doors were locked. This was not acceptable.
