I really like A&O hostels. We have visited their Venice and Milano sites and the Milano site was even better - clean and tidy rooms with a nice bathroom with a bathtub. Good and strong air conditioning was also available. Nice and clean surrounding areas and quiet rooms because of new windows. Parking was also large and very easy to use - both underground and above ground spaces were available.

The only downside that I can think of is the subway. The Milano hotel is closest to Ca Granda subway stop, part of M5 line, which is not perfect to visit sightseeings in Milano. But I like using the Metro and I don't mind changing (transferring) lines so it was also like a journey.

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was really nice. The staff was extremely helpful we could leave our baggage on the last day in a closed room. They provided us with everything we needed! :)

There was a bath instead of a shower, which was a little unhygienic, would prefer a shower, also our room had no window view, we could see a rooftop and the hotel's air conditioning machines, which resulted in us having closed windows and blinds the whole time.

Laura on reception was lovely and very helpful. The location is close to the metro - on the purple line, the same line as the San Siro. As we were travelling for the football, this was perfect. It also doesnt take long to get into the centre, and to the central metro stop where the airport buses run to and from. The room was clean. The area was a quiet neighbourhood but with good shops and bars nearby. Some were open until 2am - so good for a nightcap, but the area was never noisy. We will book this hotel again.

I wish there was more plugs - The room had 1 plug and one usb port on the right hand side of the bed. Nothing on the left. The walls were quite thin too, but my sleep was never interupted. Like i say, I’d book the hotel again so it wasnt a big issue!

Everything. The room was warm when outside was winter cold . The bed was confortable. Kettle + coffee + tea + bottle of water in the room was perfect. Breakfast (continental) was really good every day.Bathroom clean and towels changed whe necessary. Staff really kind, helpful and polite. It is located only within 5 mins walk from metro Ca Granda and good conections with city center and other locations like San Siro. The area was a quiet neighbourhood. We will book this hotel again, unfortunately it seems that it will go into renovation.

We liked everything about the actual place, they even had strollers for rental which is such a great idea and the fact that we saw so many families with their pets here is also why we will be back as it’s child and pet friendly 🥰 Diego assisted us during check-in and checkout and he was also very polite and helpful which is a plus as we don’t encounter many places with a friendly face receiving the guests (it’s so rare to find good service)

Unfortunately the shower was really dirty

The breakfast was good and the selection was varied. Staff was helpfull and understanding, locality where it was situated was good, access to the metro was in the vicinity of the hotel and the shops of the locality were also near. I also liked the area where it was situated. There were a lot of trees and a big fountain, it was almost like a mini-park part of the hotel complex. I loved it.

The pillows were rather small and not robust, but maybe because I am used to orthopedic ones, so other people may find them good

The room was quite good. The staff is very polite and ready to help in each moment. The hotel is close to the metro station and with the change of two metro lines you can reach the Duomo. Breakfast is good, there are several options and it is enough for a 3-star hotel.

Noise is a problem if someone does not have good sleep, since for example in our room (116) noise came from the fountain near the hotel and public transport. Also, isolation is not so good inside the hotel and there is a problem with door retarders and it make noise when someone enters or goes out of the room. Rooms are clean, but not the cleanest.

We just returned from vacation in Italy and we stayed here during our trip in Milan. The room size is good and the hotel is nice and modern. I liked the cleanliness of the room. A great location, as the hotel is situated in a quiet and calm local neighbourhood. The ambience of the hotel is pleasant and the staff are professional. A quick 5 minute walk to the subway station that connects you to the rest of the city.

Room was okay in size and beds were comfortable, clean rooms. Breakfast buffet has a decent spread. Location is 30 minutes from Milan centre (Duomo) in regular traffic but you will have the Tram Line 5 within 2 minutes walk and Metro Line 5 within 5 minutes walk, the neighbourhood is not ideal but worth the cost. There are very few good eating spots nearby so be prepared to bring in your own food while returning back to the hotel.

Drinking water is not available or complimentary. You can buy bottled water from Novotel hotel bar which is basically situated at the same spot. The area outside hotel is a bit dodgy in late nights but I did not have any bad experiences except a couple of drunk locals in the night - but they did not bother us. No lunch/dinner service.

The most important thing is that there was plenty of vegies beside other food, unlike in many other hotels in Europe which considers that bacon, eggs and cheese is all one need.

The window doesn't opens wide, it has a tiny little gap because of the frigging wire. There were moments we couldn't breathe and the airconditioner was almost dead, no sign of life. Other than that I would reccomend this hotel nevertheless.
