The bedroom was basic, but comfortable and warm with its own wash basin, and the bathroom and toilet were fairly near, with a washing machine. The whole building is very old fashioned in some ways, but for me, this was very nostalgic, with the very old lift and stone stairs. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I also liked the sound of the old-style tramcars of Milan, trundling past in the street below. I would love to stay at Hotel Arno again one day! Many thanks for a pleasant stay.

It would be great if breakfast was available at the hotel, although there are several cafés and shops not far away..

It was a clean property situated really close to the central station with many local businesses nearby to suit all manner of needs. The staff we met were super helpful and kind, and the hotel itself was well maintained.

Since the property was on a Main Street, the tram track that runs through the city can prove to be quite noisy, especially since when we stayed it was quite hot and we needed the window open to try to cool things down. However, being as busy as you can in Milan and tiring yourself out, you hardly notice the noise after a tiring day. It was also quite pleasant to see a rustic tram go by every now and then!

The location is good, the guy at the reception is very nice, the room is clean.

If I have to write something negative, the dividing walls are just plasterboard, you can hear everything, but that wouldn't matter if people were civilized, which was not the case with the Russian next door who screamed on the phone all night :(

Hotel is in a nice area, there are plenty of restaurants around, public transportation is right at the door, train station is walking distance from the hotel. The place is a little old but so, so clean. Our room was at the back of the hotel so it was super quiet. All the staff we met were very pleasant and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. The shower pressure delivered! No AC but there was a fan in the room It was much better than what I expected and I'd go back with no hesitation.

One thing to keep in mind: if you use a wheelchair, or if you travel with gigantic suitcases, you won't be able to use the elevator. Bathroom could use a fresh paint job.

Room was clean and comfortable and had a decent Shared bathroom facilities and . Double glazed windows keep the noise out. Rooms have a good view of rooftops / Milan skyline and the lovely vintage trans. There are some excellent bars and restaurants near this accommodation.

Though the lounge area had a kettle there was sadly no tea or coffee there .

Convenient location of the hotel near the central station. Helpful staff, allowed to leave luggage after check-out. Good value for money

There were problems with hot water. It was only possible to use it early in the morning. You had to wash very quickly because the water first became too hot, and then immediately cold

Nice place, location was great, close to central station and a short tram ride to the city centre. We arrived to Milan early at around 11:30 and were really pleased they let us check in then. We were also expecting to have a shared bathroom, but actually had an en-suite, so that was a big bonus. It's not luxury accommodation, but defintely reasonable for the price.

Lots of stairs! This wasn't an issue for us, but would definitely not recommend for anyone who struggles with stairs.

There is so kind guys who work at reception. If you want something they will help you fully as much as they can. I feel it was over than 5 stars hotel. No, I can say I meet friends. If you think people than facility and It's not hot summer, I recommend this hotel.

To be honestly, It's quite cheap hotel in Milan as price. So there is some uncomfortable things. For example, in hot summer season, you can feel hot easily cause it's not air-conditioning hotel. But employees are very kind and warm, so... except hot summer season, it's quite good hotel.

Great and cheap You get more than what you expect from a 1-star hotel, the room was very clean, bathroom as well, staff made the experience a lot better, very friendly and kind - also great english! Location was very close to Central Station and busses around Yes it might not be a five star hotel but its sure worth its money!

Was difficult to find, not where the map says it is as it is the fourth floor of a building. All the rooms and reception are on the same floor so you can hear all the conversations being had in reception over night when new guests are arriving (walls are a bit thin)
