Not far from Central Station, metro stop and trams/bus is also close by. The room was clean but very small (yes I booked a single) it looked like a student accommodation Breakfast was good offering plenty of option including fresh fruits. The staff was always very kind and helpful. There is also a small gym - perfect for my morning work out.

Big room and very big well appointed bathroom. Very comfortable and quiet room. We were only there 1 night, but it would be very good for a longer stay. The metro was just down the street and only 3 stops to the Duomo. Also down the street was great shopping. We found an excellent restaurant too - Gustin. So good! It was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel.

The air conditioner was old and noisy. Luckily, we didn't need to use it much. The neighbourhood is so-so. It looks iffy during the day with lots of graffiti around, but all the cafes and pubs open in the evening and the streets come alive and are more inviting. We never felt unsafe, just were disappointed in the graffiti.

We were pleasantly surprised; much better than expected. We actually chose the hotel primarily based on the price and didn't have high expectations. But the Sanpi is a nice mid-range hotel in a convenient location; everything is in good condition and the rooms are sufficiently large (for ancient european cities). There's a lovely courtyard, and the staff speaks english. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, yet it's not too noisy. Milan is a very compact city, so the location is by no means as remote as it appears on the map. In good weather, you can get anywhere quickly by bike (bikeMi); but there are also trams, subways, and regional trains (for day trips) within walking distance. . We didn't try the breakfast or the restaurant as there are plenty of alternatives in the area.

Very nice breakfast buffet (as long as you don’t get there late and the eggs are cold). Good pastries. For folks who love coffees, they serve everything. Good bar for later in the day. My room was good size and very comfortable. Pleasant decorations. Too cold to enjoy the outside patio area with beautiful flowers. Close to the Metro and easy walking to Central Station. Loads of restaurants nearby of all sorts. Looks to be recently remodeled - new paint, very clean and very nice carpeting.

Noisy! I had a room facing the street giving me a nice view. However, this is a very packed urban area and it is noisy. A bar across the street didn’t seem to close until 5am and then they still were out whooping it up after that. The folks at the desk were very kind to move me to another room - that one had a balcony and was very quiet. If you are used to a quiet environment, take that into consideration. Other than that, a very nice stay in a very beautiful city.

Location, clean rooms, design, nice staff

I stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and remember very nice breakfast. Unfortunately, the quality of it has dropped, the omlette and scrambled eggs were of very poor quality, and despite they also serve an omelette menu for extra money, we tried it once and were completely dissatisfied. Eggs were not even mixed. Our room was on the first floor was convenient on the one hand, one the other hand the outside corridor sounds woke up us every early morning as the staff prepared breakfast around 6-7 am. Cleaning lady took away cups but didn’t replace them for the clean ones. So it was a nice stay but there are steps for improvement

The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from Milano Centrale (the main coach/train station). Ideally if you don’t have too long or are needing to move to somewhere else. Everywhere is in easy enough walking distance, with lots of cool districts around. The receptionists were all really nice and very helpful, they made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. The room is really spacious and has a large bed that was really comfy, there was a little balcony too (which we didn’t use), but you could easily sit out in the summer and relax. The bathroom was very large too, with a bath and shower. There is a small fitness room and a nice bar/breakfast area which can be utilised throughout the day.

The hotel location is excellent, so close to the city center and to very nice parks, bars and restaurants which are highly recommended especially If you are a member of the lgbt+ society. The hotel staff are exceptional people very kind and helpful and are one of the finest examples of hotel employees I have ever come across in my life given that I travel every one to two months. The hotel has an amazing small but very cozy garden which is nicely decorated with fantastic flowers and small lamps.

Maybe provide some type of basic food if you are hungry during the day, especially for those who arrive late. However breakfast is very tasty and everything is of high quality.

Good breakfast, very nice authentic room in a small building in the inner garden — nicely designed with a style and soul. Great inner garden — cool and calm, great place to have a drink in the end of a day. Very good bar with a great bartender,— affable, witty and really pleasant to chat to (thanks Cristiano!). Very helpful and positive guys at reception (special thanks to Stefano for help on a choosing of a room and nice small-talks. Very good location — really close to Milano Centrale, pretty close to "touristic" locations. The district itself is very multinational with dozens of cafes, small restaurants and bars.

Stunningly decorated! Great location within minutes walk of 2 stations and access to trams. Room & bathroom were spotless. Staff always friendly and professional, very helpful. A lot of care goes into this hotel. Excellent find - would highly recommend and definitely return. Didnt eat here but drinks are cheap. Tip: take a chromecast or firestick unless you speak fluent Italian!

Street noise woke me up several times but I'm a light sleeper and we were on first floor. Such a small, peaceful street overall. Didn't bother asking to be moved as felt a few noisy drunks were not the hotels problem.

Hotel Sanpi is very well located, south of Estacion Centrale and very close to Porta Venezia, in a quiet neighborhood with decent restaurants and bars. Very close to trams and metro stations, walkable distance to the center, close to a beautiful park. The staff is very nice and helpful.

My room was big, bathroom very small, decoration is old and traditionnal, very charming, with a small balcony where you can sit. matress could be upgraded, patio is a bit noisy, but charming. Great for tourism, a bit less for business but still very good value for money and excellent location.
