We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Fenice. It was the best 3 star hotel we ever stayed in and seemed more like a 4 star hotel. We took a quiet room for 3 people and it was perfect. The hotel has a modern interior, the breakfast is good and the staff super friendly. There are many good restaurants and bars in the same street where the hotel is. The Milan duomo and Galeria Vittorio Emmanuele is a 25 minutes walk away. We would stay here again and can definitely recommend it.

Exceptionally friendly staff, (expensive ) parking nearby, very comfy room and pleasant bar and breakfast room. Location was good, about a 15 min walk from Duomo, lots of good shops and restaurants and bars nearby.

Parking was a bit of struggle, but it is the centre of Milan.

A good base for our stay in Milan. The Metro is right outside the front door of the hotel - I would definitely recommend getting a pass for the days you are here as the hotel is far out of the centre - 30 minutes walk. We had a cute little balcony, but not enough space to sit, only to stand and look out. Very clean hotel with very kind, helpful staff, all with perfect English. Breakfast was substantial, enough to get you started for the day. Lots of options on the coffee machine too which was great. Body wash and shampoo provided in the shower. We had a problem with the pump on our shampoo which was changed immediately without a fuss by the lovely staff.

I think this is possibly the smallest shower in the world😅! The water from the tap never got cold enough to be nice to drink. No major issues but things to consider when booking: I didn’t realise the hotel is in the LGBTQ+ district. This didn’t bother us, but some people may not like this. You have to leave your key at reception when you leave, which we didn’t mind, but again may bother some people. The lift is slow and there are maaaany stairs. The air con is a little too powerful, tricky to get it right but easily adjustable!! Felt expensive to stay here for what it is, but we quickly worked out that all of Milan is expensive 😂

I spent 2 nights in a single room on the last floor facing the backyard. I have asked a quiet room on upper floor, and that was exactly what I got. The room is tiny, but well arranged. Every single corner was utterly clean. Breakfast is fine. The staff is extremely kind and supportive. The hotel is located just out of the metro station, which is very convenient. The city centre (Piazza del Duomo) can be reached also by foot. Recommended, despite not a business hotel.

I would have really appreciated a kettle in the room. A bit expensive for what it provides, but I guess it's because of the central location.

Excellent location with restaurants, supermarket and Metro just a few yards from the hotel. Such a bonus to take the Metro to Linate airport from the entrance directly outside the hotel! It took us twenty minutes to walk to the Duomo although it is only two stops from the Metro outside the Fenice hotel. Very clean, lovely bed linen, towels and well designed spacious and good layout of bedroom and shower room as well. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast provided, choice of juice including a delicious, orange, apple and lemon variety..plus usual breads and cooked food. Useful little fridge, shutters and windows with sound deadening double glazing

Room 410……..Two single beds pushed together so an uncomfortable ridge along the middle. Would have preferred a double bed.

Great Central location, v comfy bed, fridge in room, v clean room n bathroom, shower has great water pressure despite doing on the 3rd floor, toilet had good strong flush. The windows had v goof sound proofing(couldn't eliminate everything as its near a major road ) there's a v nice park near the hotel. There's 3 metro stations all within 100 meters of the hotel as well as several places to eat and a supermarket within 2 minutes walk. The breakfast menu had several options to cover most palates. Staff were v helpful and there was always someone on the reception desk.

Despite there being ample mains sockets I would have preferred to have a mains socket near the bed. This isn't a criticism more a point of advice to anyone that is loomkg to stay here. As there is no card system for access to the room it's a physical key that they ask they you leave at reception if you leave the hotel for the day(touring the city, going out ti eat etc). But the power to the room needs the keyring for light/sockets meaning once you take the key/keyring the power will cut out in the room, so any devices(phones/power banks etc) WON'T charge up. Reception will give you an additional keyring for the power however I used my Pay as you go Mobile top up as an alternative which worked perfectly.

Location is extremely good for a couple of days sightseeing tour in Milano, because Porta Venezia Metro station is at the entry of the hotel. The hotel itself is a very correct 3*** one. Even the room is not too big, but you can find everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is well-equipped. Breakfast is not too various, but good quality (especially the Parma-ham). The staff is helpful and friendly. Our favourite was the cheerful barman! The price of the room looks a little bit high, but finally we are in Milano, the financial capital of Italy...

One of the reading lamps at the bed didn't work.

It is like a boutique hotel, location was very good, very close to the train station even though we preferred to walk to the Central of Milan, staff were very good and helpful, I liked the breakfast as it was indicated we like food but we do not like to waste, it has what you need for a breakfast meal.

Very good location, a very styleish hotel, just half minute walk to subway , and a long shopping street. There is a little street starting just in front of the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, streetfood bars, the breakfast was very fine, the scrumbled eggs is like grandmothers do, soft and creamy, i also like they offer some fruits fresh cut, melone, and pineapple as well, the staff is very kind , and they made a real cool cappuchino after breakfast in a barista way i got a street view room, so what else can i say. Nice hotel, brilliant location, best price/ratio , Will surely always come back to this hotel when in milano

everything was fine

Excellent location (easy access to tourist places and Central Station by metro and/or tram, both stations on your door-step), superior client service, abundant breakfast, clean and comfy room (even if on the smaller side). Can be quiet if you are willing to compromise with the room view and ask for one at the back.

Small room (little space to move around one large bed), repetitive breakfast (we did not mind, but only stayed 3 days), smelly backyard (at least the one over-looked by our room), minimalist bathroom (with no storage space).
