The price is pretty cheap and you are getting appropriate service for these money. The room was clean, the workers were nice and friendly. I got the locker for my belongings for free (it’s just a deposit that will be returned when you move out) and the location is not that bad (30min from the centre). You can enjoy the trip:)

There are not so many disadvantages though. First, it’s the water in the shower: it’s very unpredictable so either use hot water or cold, you can’t make a comfortable mix, or you have to stay there experimenting with the percentage of the turn. The second point that was surprising that you have to be at the hostel till 00:30. I thought it was only about check-ins, but it was accorded to all the visitors. So if you want to explore city at night or go partying, it’s not gonna be possible, otherwise you will stay on the street till 9:30. So mind it if you are planning your journey. In other things the place is totally okey

I really liked the room with a view of the city, spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the windows were big. The common room for eating was very convenient, the kitchen nearby was generally excellent and you can drink tea and make something quickly. I also liked the bath, there was no queue since there were two of them and it was very convenient, good water and a clean place. Polite and pleasant staff

The staff is welcoming and you immediately feel like at home. Everyone was respectful and with a little kit you should always bring along (earplugs, nightmask, etc.) every night was a refreshing sleep. The balcony goes all the way around the place and by one side you can see also the new Portello landmarks. The neighbourhood has become my favourite: in a short distance you have Certosa, Piazza Firenze and Bullona with corso Sempione , City Life, Portello and Accursio, Fiera, Parks of Alfa Romeo, Monte Stella and the green QT8. But of course with a couple of subway stations more you can get to San Siro, Pagano, Brera and what else. Love it!

It was fine with me in this trip, which was very relaxing,, although if you want to enjoy the nightlife, remind that there’s a curfew around midnight thirty (IRCC). Flavio will explain the house rules throughly as you arrive.

I liked the fact that the host was very hospitable and friendly. The state of the hostel was clean and they left the windows open which was nice for a cool breeze. Most people seemed to be local Italians so everyone went to bed at a respectable time.

There was no possibility to get a key so I felt slightly dependent on the host. We wanted to go to the Duermo at night but we wouldn’t have made it back in time for the curphew.

I would mention 2 good points. First, the personality of the owner is agreeable and quite polite. He explained about all things we need precisely. That was why I could check-in and check-out easily and could stay peacefully. Second, personal speaking, what was exciting to be there was that I could see and talk with other people staying there. We have to share one room with other people, then we come to talk with each other spontaneously. This point could make your stay more enjoyable and unforgettable, particularly for people traveling alone.

I could point out 2 things could be better. First, it was difficult to identify the place. There is no signboard in front of the entrance. Thanks to the precise explanation through the messages, I could find it out, but it was still difficult. Second, the location is not really good. It takes 30-40mins to go to city centre on train or tram. But taking account the price and other good points, this hostel is worthwhile enough to book, I would say.

Owner is very nice and accommodating. The rules are pointed out clearly. If you agree with a curfew, it is a great place to stay. Rooms are clean and facilities moe than sufficient.

Again, hostel has a curfew. If you dont like it, stay somewhere else. I came for futbol and sightseeing, so there was nothing i didnt like about the hostel and the owner.

Me and two of my friends spent a night here. Very nice rooms, very clean and comfortable. We slept very well even in the tropical heat. The bathroom and the kitchen were also clean. The common area is welcoming, the hostel is smoker friendly (no smoking inside but there are balconies). The city centre is within reach with public transport. The owner was very generous, helpful and kind. We had a great talk. The wifi works very well too, no lagging. Overall, we had a great time. If we ever come back to Milano we will make sure to book this hostel again. Star hostel = love ❤️

Amazing rooms and the balcony is beautiful close to central as well 25-30 minutes to central station milano the host is amazing he helped us with everything location ideas suggestions and very very helpful would love it even more if there was more curfew but every place has their own rules so not a problem he was very welcoming lovely place would definitely recommend it to everyone and would stay again

Nothing to dislike

You really won't get a better deal for a private room in that location! You will be able to walk to the center of Milan if you have good legs and are feeling strong! 💪 Go for it!!!

The weather was bad, so we couldn't enjoy the nice private terrace!

It was the best hostel experience I had. The staff was super nice, the rooms were clean and tidy and the view from the balcony was great as well. The location is very close to the centre and there is a bus stop right next to te building.

The showers in the bathrooms could use a bit more cleaning but comoared to other hostels it is still very tidy.
