The Hotel is located beside Lima Station of Metro 1. Line 1 connects to Linate Airport from San Babila Station (Metro 1). The hotel serves an excellent breakfast with breads, fruit, vegetables, even rice, fruit juice, cheeses, bacon etc,, coffee, cacao. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms clean. Line 1 connects from station Lima to Duomo within 6 minutes. Navigli can be reached via Metro 1 and Station Loretto to Navigli. The hotel has very friendly staff and a big lobby area. Rooms are cleaned every day and have a fridge and safe. The hotel is situated in a safe area and on the Corse de Buenos Aires which is a shopping street where the Sightseeing hop on hop off bus has a station. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood, the hotel also has a restaurant.

Very polite stuff, a great terrace at the top, a very good breakfast, a giant bed, literally 2 meters wide.

Literally nothing, everything was great, except maybe the smell of the blanket, somehow it seemed like it wasn't washed or dried completely - although it's maybe only up to me - I have a sensitive sense of smell :D

This hotel was perfectly situated just outside the center of the city. The metro was VERY convenient. The room was a bit typical of all European hotel rooms....it met the needs of a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. We did not choose the hotel based on the size of the rooms, as we intended to visit as much of the city as we could and come back to a good nights sleep. The spa was great. The breakfast was really good and well worth the extra charge. Our favorite part of the hotel was the roof top bar. Nicely laid out and had a great view of the city. We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Milan. It is also good for getting to the airport or train station. No need for a cab or uber as the metro/train took you straight into both.

I was disappointed that the lobby bar seemed never to be manned. I may have misunderstood how it all worked.

Nice room, despite the furniture&fixings being old. However, they were well maintained and super-clean. I actually enjoyed the "retro" style and "vibe". I liked the swimming pool: small, but enough for a few laps, clean and well-maintained. Despite the rude staff, I would still come back to the hotel!

The staff, except for the cleaning personnel (they were lovely), was very unfriendly and unpleasant, both at the reception and at the restaurant. Either they can't speak proper English or simply chose not to. I speak 4 languages, unfortunately Italian is not one of them. I understand a little bit, so communication was possible, but this was a bit unexpected for a hotel in a city such as Milan. Breakfast didn't have many options for vegetarians who prefer a savory breakfast.

Great location and facilities. The room was clean and the traditional decor fits the style of the building. The spa is a great bonus.

Unfortunately the staff did not make us feel welcome. The information between the reception and the restaurant did not travel - the restaurant hadn’t received my dietary requirements for breakfast and had lost my dinner booking, when both were confirmed by the reception. It took ages to be served at the restaurant, we were completely forgotten. Also, the lobby bar was unstaffed every time I tried to go and get a coffee. I don’t know if it was staff shortage or poor management but everyone seemed stressed out and snappy. The check-in was offered to be done online, which I did, but I still had to go through the long check-in process at the counter upon arrival.

Comfortable room , with kettle to make hot drinks , great gym, upstairs bar friendly staff there . Fabulous breakfast, great location for street shopping and local scene too. Luggage storage was great.

Staff were not very helpful when booking a taxi , allow MUCH more time than you think you will need for ordering a taxi from this hotel, staff called 2 companies for us on a Saturday afternoon and could not get through to make a booking. As a last resort we found a driver on the street ..was quite stressful and $$ experience.

Excellent location, right above the Metro station (Lima). The hotel along a busy shopping street. Breakfast was good, there was a variety of meats, fruit, cereals and bread. Staff were very friendly and the receptionist gave us a upgraded room. Room was very clean and cleaned every day.

The only thing about the room was that, we weren't given water every day when the room was cleaned, only on the first day. The pool was ok but very small and can get quite overcrowded. There wasn't much room to go for a proper swim, more so just splash/ sit around in it.

My mom and I loved Hotel Galles. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet (since our request for a courtyard-facing room was kindly honored), and the location was incredible: a metro station right outside the door and less than 15 minutes’ walk to Milano Centrale. The character of the building was also very nice. We opted for the breakfast-included price and it was more than worth it, delicious and an expansive variety. The staff were friendly and helpful. All around a fantastic stay. It will be my go-to if I’m ever in Milan again.

The air condition never seemed to work quite right, but it wasn’t a big deal for us since we could open the windows to the courtyard for fresh air.

Location location location due to walking out of Hotel directly down to Metro, dinner was really good as was breakfast, hotel was lovely inside and room bright and airy with bed super comfy.

Information: on all levels outside the lift it gives information on ironing room and laundry room, whilst Ironing room was ok the laundry room was closed and hotel said we couldn’t use it( we on month long Italy tour) and said signs are d 🤷🤷, swimming pool was good but both sauna and Turkish bath was luke warm, the Spa looked inviting but in reality not so good, others may have different view.
