It was a great location because it was walking distance to so many attractions like the national archaeological museum. It was just off a busy shopping street. Also, Francesca provided me with a map and excellent advice on how to spend my time there. When I had some difficulty where it looked like the driver that was booked was unable to come, she was on the phone right away trying to arrange other transportation opportunities. I felt well looked after at this hotel.

I had a bit of difficulty the first night figuring out how to use the codes to get access to the building on the buzzer system and then into the actual hotel because I got there after the staff had left. However Francesca was very helpful on the phone helping me with that.

The hotel is located near a main road on the edge of the most interesting part of the city. It is easy to walk to the tourist attractions, shops and restaurants near the harbor. The room was able to accommodate all four of us comfortably, and because it is on two levels, the kids had some privacy.

The breakfast, while fresh, was spartan. The croissants were sugared, which we did not need. The beds in the loft are very firm - they are a mattress on a wooden base.

The rooms were quite nice - especially the superior room with the balcony was very comfortable. Location was perfect!

We were initially placed in a regular room, although we booked superior and in the regular room there were some hairs in the bedsheets. Also, the breakfast could be with more options aside from pastries. I would consider changing the bathroom doors. Glass sliding door is not the most comfortable thing.

We had a great, but short, stay at Melrose Napoli. It is a lovely and cosy B and B which has been beautifully and carefully renovated in an old building right in the heart of Naples. The room was large and spacious and so nicely and beautifully decorated and furnished. It was more than big enough for two adults and two teens with their own separate sleeping area upstairs with two single beds. It was extremely quiet while being right in the heart of Naples. The location was perfect, you can get everywhere by foot. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and amenable. They prepared a lovely breakfast for us in their dining room and were there to help us with anything we needed. It ticked all the boxes, good value for money as well, and this will definitely be our go to place to stay in Naples. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The location was amazing. Close to everything and all in walking distance for our trip. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was very nice touch as well. The rooms are very stylish and nice.

I know this is a European thing mostly but fans would be amazing to have at night for sleeping. Our A/C didn’t meet our US standards but we really can’t complain about that as we expected it. If you’re going to go to the bathroom everyone will be able to hear all the things.

Great location to enjoy Naples. You’re right in the heart of everything Naples has to offer. There are great bars and restaurants in the vicinity too. Hotel is comfortable and the owner is very helpful. The area is vibrant, but sound-proof shutters on the bedroom windows mean that once inside you have a peaceful night sleep! Would recommend.

The location was perfect to see Napoli. In fact the experience was the best. All food and drink places were close by. After we had figured out that the solid wooden doors could be closed to keep the noise out, the night was perfect.

The partying went on for too long at night on Easter Sunday night - and we didn't realize that the solid second doors could be used to reduce the noise. Consequently the first night was difficult. But the second night was peaceful.

Great accommodation right in the middle of the action in lovely historic Naples! The surrounding streets were bustling with life but nothing could be heard in the apartment unless the windows were open. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and communicative. Breakfast was really nice too!

The kids loved the beds upstairs :) Great location. Right in the middle of everything in Napoli! Bars and restaurants downstairs - but no noise because of soundproof windows. Good breakfast with a lot of different choices.

We had a superb stay at MelRose. Friendly and helpful staff. Location and the room was great - if I´m going to be super picky I would change one thing .... it would be to put a normal door at the toilet :)

Beautiful hotel. Rooms where stylishly decorated and had an en-suite with everything you needed. Our host was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was gorgeous with fresh coffee,juices,yoghurts,ham,cheese,toast and pastries. Hotel is located right in the centre of the historic quarter, out of the main door and you were amongst bars,restaurant’s and shops. There wasn’t a shortage of places to have your evening meal or have a relaxing drink. When we retired for the night the sounds from outside didn’t penetrate the room and had two fabulous nights sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
