We were looking for accomodation with nice atmosphere and character and this place absolutely met our expectations. The flat is beautiful and very spacious. The location is perfect and all windows are facing a big green terrace which can be accessed from the room. The owners are very friendly!

I requested the 2-bed option when booking as I was traveling with my mother and the request was confirmed. However, when we arrived, only one bed was made - we realized it late at night so we had to share the big bed which was of course less comfortable. I would recommed confirming again closer to your arrival if you pick 2 beds. There is no WiFi password written anywhere in the room so make sure to ask about it upon your arrival. Again, since we realized later in the evening, we had to use our phone data until the next afternoon. An extra toilet roll would be great as there was only one for the 3 days and it ran out towards the end of our stay. It would be nice to have a breakfast option, but the host did offer us coffee and snacks in the morning!

The only thing we didn't like was the room we've got was pretty dark, and we thought we will get the room which was on the pics. But it doesn't matter, everything was great except of that.

Very interesting vintage property. You are staying at the owners home on a dedicated part of the flat. The owner is very helpful and nice. The property has an amazing terrace and you get a dedicated spot in it surrounded with plants. The location is great. Overall the property is very artsy, I think it would be a nice option for more senior couple to stay, whom would enjoy a quiet classy stay. The owner speaks only Italian and French

There is no headboard and the painting is big and hangs quite low, so you have to be careful settling in the bed. It would be nice to have a small table and two chairs inside the dedicated room:) it would be a good spot to eat breakfast or dinner, have a cup of coffee. Room had only bedside tables and two armchairs that were far apart, terrace only had one table and one chair so you kinda drink and eat on the bed. Also be sure to protect yourself from mosquitoes! The owner will help you out

The location, right in the heart of Naples, is excellent for any visitor wanting to explore the city. The apartment is traditional old style, large, elegant and very comfortable, in a small street with lots of character. Lovely breakfast.

Our hosts were this adorable italian couple living in the other side of the apartment. It’s a beautiful, old Napoli apartment with incredible artworks created by the hostess - there is a corridor and a huge lounge area that is nicely decorated, which doesn’t make it feel like you’re in someones home. It was very clean and we also received daily cleanups. 12/10 experience!

No downsides.

Altera domus is amazing. The lady who runs it is an angel and made us feel like part of the family. There were extra amenities that we didn’t know we’d get like unlimited espressos, a beautiful, communal dining area and a humongous room. I couldn’t believe it especially for the price. I will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Absolutely nothing could have been better. Our friends stayed in a hotel round the corner for nearly triple the cost per night and their hotel was soulless, small and had so little to it, that they ended up coming to visit ours during the storm instead of going back there!

Very lovely host and a special experience eating breakfast in what can only be described as a wonderful home.

I would have liked a mini fridge to store cool drinks in the room.

Loved staying in an old Neapolitan apartment.

Although there was a lovely sitting room, it wasn’t completely clear that it was for our use. The price felt quite high for a bedroom woth no breakfast.

Owner barely knows any English. the room in part of their home, so they live in the third room- did not expect that. the shower is kind of uncomfortable and there are many mosquitoes.

The hostess was super, very atentive, providing good recommendations and make sure we had a pleasant stay in Napoli.
