We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room; it was large (designed for four people, though there were only two of us), making it very convenient for families or groups. We appreciated the comfort of the beds and the fact that everything was clean. The staff was wonderful—friendly and attentive, and they deserve high praise. Breakfast, served in the downstairs cafe, consisted of tea/coffee and a pastry. While it was tasty, the portion was quite small. However, we enjoyed the cafe itself and had delicious lunches there as well. The hotel’s location right on a lively square is both a major advantage and a drawback. Pro: If you are visiting to go out and enjoy the nightlife, the location is excellent, with bars and activity right nearby. Con: It is extremely noisy, making sleep very difficult. We were aware of the central location when booking, so this was not entirely unexpected, but future guests should be prepared for the noise level.

The main issues were in the bathroom: The bathroom is old. The shower cabin did not close properly. There was an unpleasant sewer/drain smell (smelled of sewage) present in the bathroom.

The location was amazing opening your windows on the balcony with a statue of Dante ahead in the square. The room was clean and spacious, with quirky original features. We were right in the centre of the music university and could hear practice sessions and operatic singing. The eateries and clothes shops were right on the doorstep, and the staff were some of the friendliest we've met while holidaying. We were very sorry to leave a beautiful city and lodgings.

The only mention which comes to mind is a lack of crockery / cutlery, however we never queried this with staff therefore it could have been remedied.

The location was perfect, spacious room, walking distance to all attractions, direct bus to the airport (182) , great spot for the nightlife too. The staff was very sympathetic, the room had a balcony with a great view and the included breakfast in the cafe on the Dante square was delicious (Italian pastry and coffee)

There was a problem with the toilet mechanism, it wasn't always working and it was very noisy. Also, you could hear the other guests in the next room. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable

Great location, all clean and friendly staff. The rooms are located inside an old building that is undergoing renovation on the first floor. The underground station is one minute away and many sightseeings, cafes and restaurants, etc.

Terrible mattresses, so soft you melt like a marshmallow on a fire

The location was amazing, and the balcony overlooking Piazza Dante was beautiful. Complementary breakfast was very nice and the staff were lovely to us.

It's a pretty basic room - no frills, no feathers. But sometimes that's just what you need.

Great location in the middle of Piazza Dante, really close to the hop on hop off bus, easy access to all the restaurants and bars in the area which was awesome, staff were super friendly and helpful.

It was difficult to find the place at first even with google maps not easily recognizable or sign posted - would help if the instructions were mentioned on what to do to get to find the accommodation., there is a café in the square that is family owned and they have the keys to the room

It’s in a great location with many interesting food alleys nearby. It was a clean and spacious room. And breakfast was simple, but it was great.

You need to check in at the beside cafe, but there was no instruction about it.

The location couldn't have been better, in the city centre but very quiet as it is set back in a big square beside an underground station. Staff were very friendly and the price was great.

Excellent location, croissant and fresh orange for breakfast was lovely, air conditioning fantastic, big room with very effective sound insulation.
