We traveled to Naples for a few days, we accidentally came across Marco, who helped us a lot with our tour of the city. He is kind, polite and caring. The place has a top location, close to the historic center, metro, 10 min walk from Piazza Plebiscito, the Spanish Quarter and many other attractions. I highly recommend it, the room was extremely clean with a great view of the square. There is simply no complaint!

Marco is very helpful and has the enthusiasm to introduce his city. He introduced sites and restaurants, we tried some and they are amazing. Back to the room: we arrived from Capri by boat and reached from harbour to Dante square by subway. The room is well fuenitured and warm water always available. We got a room with balcony facing Dante square, we love the views. When we leave, Marco is very kind to let us leave our luggages in the place and we could do self pickup, which is very convinient. This place is very close to most of the sites in old town and cable car station. Only one minute walk to subway station, and yellow line reaches most places.

Marco was a perfect owner. He was friendly, he explained and gave some tips for exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was really good for reachability to everything and every option for transportation; bus, subway or simply on foot. So we enjoyed our stay and Marco’s warm approach.

Location was in both pros and cons. As the hotel is located facing the square, weekends could be a bit noisy. The owner tried to build a door to prevent it though. However, pros were more than cons for our stay.

The owner, Marco, met us when we arrived and showed us to our room. He then took the time to show us on a map some recommended sights and restaurants, some of which we did try, and they were excellent. The location is in a vibrant part of Naples close to the old town and the Metro, which made exploring the city easy. I'd certainly stay again and recommend it to friends. One of the best places we've stayed anywhere in the world.

Situated in a central location with easy transport links. The room was very clean with great amenities. Marco was the most perfect host, friendly and helpful. He provided recommendations for travel and food, and arranged our taxi back to the airport on our last day. He even left me a sweet birthday treat which was lovely - thanks again.

Unfortunately the square is a little too noisy at night some days until 2-3am but with some earplugs, I didn’t have a problem sleeping.

Loved, loved everything about Il Viaggio Di Dante! Location could not be better as it was really close to all the significant attractions in the historical city. We had a room overlooking piazza Dante with a little balcony. The room itself was spotless with all the necessities and bed was super comfy. Great air cooling system and I really appreciated the American standard hair dryer! Marco, the owner, greeted us warmly and gave us great eating tips. He also arranged for ouf taxi when we left. He is truly a kind person who wants his guests to be happy. My husband enjoyed practicing his Italian with him. The location was easy to find via taxi from the central train station (14.50 euros was well spent). If coming by metro, the Dante station is in the square. Highly recommended!!

We spent 2 nights here and wished we could have spent an additional 2 days here.

Nice, well equipped room with an adorable little patio. Great location! The owner was great and gave us a map with all the best places to visit and eat. He was also available if we needed help making reservations or had any questions about Naples, even after we checked out. He clearly loves his city and it was refreshing.

No complaints. It took us a minute to find it (just look for the big green doors with call box beside it). There are also a few flights of stairs, but there is a small elevator available for you to use.

This is one of the best appartments I’ve stayed in. Very conveniently located, close to the subway, overlooking the beautiful Piazza Dante. The room itself was flawless- perfectly clean and well maintained, with all the appliances that we needed for our stay. The air conditioning worked well, which is very important if you visit Naples in july. Mark was one of the most welcoming and helpful hosts I’ve ever encountered, making sure everything was perfect for us. As our train was delayed, he waited for us to check in until 1:30 am and when we left, he helped us greatly by ordering a taxi for us in the last day: we were in a big hurry to get to the airport and it was difficult to call a cab, and in Naples the taxi prices vary a lot, essentially being set by the driver, thus making it very expensive to travel by cab. However, Mark saved us a lot of time and money by ordering the taxi for us. I was very easy to communicate with Mark. Overall, it’s an amazing place to stay in Naples, highly recommend!

We ;oved the place the room big very clean perfect location . The owner waited for us so late because of a flight and was so patient with explaining and recommending . On top we had to bother him with our mobile that eas forgotrn in the taxi . We will deffenetly come back to this amazing place that has a great panoram to Dante piazA

The Host is amazing, we felt good at the house and at home and location is simply the best in Naples

The bathroom and toilet are ok but would need some renovation probably soon. The street is obviously noisy like all of Naples. All and all it is a great place to stay at Naples.
