Perfect location. Porta Nolana, the town wall gates and the train/bus station of the same name within 150 meters. The train station is the starting point for the Circumvesuviana narrow-gauge and inexpensive option, and you will be on the train when all the others bound for Herculaneum, Pompei or Sorrento board at Piazza Garibaldi, two minutes on. When exploring Naples, and planning to see the Centro Storico, head through the Porta Nolana, go straight ahead, and you'll be in the very center of action. Before Porta Nolana, however, keep to the right to not miss an espresso at Bar Roma. Overall, I hate the talk about the best espresso you've ever had, but this place definitely lives up to everything in these terms, plus the atmosphere. Napoli Centrale train station is within a shot walk. And when it's home time, just walk to the Porta Nolana station to get a taxi, pick up your luggage at the Naptown door, and head for the airport for the standard fee.

This can't be improved: the sound of the narrow-gauge trains as they start out early in the morning. But you will be disturbed only if you didn't consume your previous day in Naples fully.

Our stay at this accommodation was fantastic! The location is perfect — close to major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. The street is lively and authentic, giving us a true feel of Naples, yet the apartment was quiet enough to relax after a day of sightseeing. The place was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with comfortable bed and everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The host was incredibly kind and always available I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to experience authentic Naples while enjoying comfort and warm hospitality!

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice cold fridge. Super close to the railway station and even closer to a supermarket and restaurants.

I dont want to say 'didn't like' but the stairs were difficult in the heat, still preferable to the lift, only 3 flights of beautiful stairs. The area looked a bit dodgy so I would suggest sticking to the main streets.

It's close to the train station and easy to get out of the city if you need to do excursions. It's also walkable to the old town. It's clean. The host Daniele is very helpful, keeps in touch and asks how we get on, although we haven't had the chance to meet him. He offers luggage storage and arranges a taxi for us on the last day. The bathroom fan is very loud and it does not stop until some time after the switch is turned off. Some comments mentioned noise of the train and the other guests. We found those OK. The furnishing is basic but adequate if you use it as a place to sleep.

It is right next to the station, so it was great for us because we took many trips outside of Naples :) It was really clean, comfortable and spacious! You can hear the trains, but honestly, it's not bothering you (and I am a light sleeper), more like a washing machine back home running in the background

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy (or so it seemed to us), but we had no problems other than a bit of discomfort There is only 1 chair, so if you want to eat at the apartment, it is a bit uncomfortable 😅 but this is just a minor thing really P.S. we saw a sign that the elevator will require 0.1€ coins to be used from June 10th (we stayed until the 7th), and the room is on the third floor, it's not a big amount, but keep in mind to have change when you arrive

It has self checkin system which makes the arriving so much more flexible. It is easy to communicate in english with the owner on Whatsapp and he gave all the information we needed. The room is spacious, clean and has everything you need (hairdrier, shampoo, blanket, AC, desk, wardrobe etc.). It is near to the main train station so we could easily walk there to catch our train. There is elevator in the building which costs 10 cent so you don’t have to carry your heavy luggages up.

It wasn’t a problem for us because we are deep sleepers but as you can also see it on the pictures they shared it is next to the train station and the balcony door is a bit thin so you can hear when a train pass by but still good value for such a money for short staying if you wanna catch a train early hours to travel to an other city.

the room was nice clean and confortable, but I thing the location totally depends on what you will do, we used it as a transit between the airport and the amalfi coast, since is near the bus station is perfect. We stayed just one night at the beginning and one night at the end, BUT if you are planning to stay longer to get to know Naples, that’s the wrong place! the neighborhood is HORRIBLE, full of garbage in the streets, super dirty and at night we felt unsafe. Is super far from the touristy nice part which is near the coast, that is the pretty area.

Comfortable, clean, friendly apartment. You get everything you would need for a few days stay. Not large, but enough for 2 people. We haven't met the owner, just communicated via Whatsapp. He's very friendly, helpful, and tried to solve any issue. He responded quickly to messages. Location is ok, the main station is not so far.

Our room stayed quite close the main door of apartment which was a little bit noisy. I woke up when someone left early in the morning. When we arrived I had a small conflict about the elevator with a neighbour who only speaks Italian, but he eventually calmed down. Important: when you get out it's not enough to close the inside doors, but also the outside!

Our stay at Naptown was lovely! It is very close to the train station which was handy. Communication with the host was great, Daniele was prompt with his responses and instructions for check in were really clear and sent in good time! The room itself was lovely, it was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. There was also lockers to store luggage too.

It is located down a street with not much around but we had no issues and did not feel unsafe at any time. The lift was also quiet an old lift so we ended up walking up the stairs but again wasn’t really an issue.

First of all, Daniel was a truly nice and sweet host. He’s really supportive and nice 😊 We have forgotten to keep some cash for the tax but he’s okay with the alternative online banking, which is more convenient for us, although we were about to leave and informed him at the last minute. This room was the only thing made us delight during our stay in Napoli. It was cleaned everyday and they changed our towels too. The position is ideal if you want to travel not only in Napoli but also to other cities nearby, because it takes only 5 - 10 mins to the central station. It’s really safe though the neighborhood seems not beautiful. Someones claimed in their review about the noise from central station but it didn’t disturb us.
