Location was perfect for cruise port! When arriving at airport get the Alibus and stay on to the last stop - port! We then met Antonio outside the main entrance - he recognised us by a photo i sent on whatsapp. He took us up in lift to 6th floor where they have 3 separate apartments. You use another key to get into this complex which has an office at the front, then a corridor with each of the 3 rooms coming off that. We had booked the room with the terrace which we loved!! There is an egg chair and a large sofa you can lie on and catch the sun until early afternoon. Views are as per the booking.com photo. Mt VESUVIUS looms large. Can clearly see Capri and Sorrento. Apartment decorated and fitted to a very high standard indeed, as are the other two which Antonio let us see. Rain shower, comfy big bed, fridge with ice compartment. induction hob, microwave, washing machine. We loved this apartment and watching cruise ships come and go, as well as people watching! It gets extremely quiet at night. Antonio's friend owns an Italian restaurant just behind this building and he has 10% off leaflets. We used it twice and loved it - so busy tells you all you need to know! So in our summary 10/10 well deserved Antonio!

Perfect location with incredible view. There are three rooms at this property, we had the one with the loggia. Walking distance to the Spanish Quarter, the ferries leave from front of the building, direct connection to the airport with by bus, certain organized trips offer pickup from the hotel next door. I made use of the washing machine and the drying rack once. Kitchen was well equipped for the stay of three nights. The property was spotlessly clean. The cleaning lady noticed that we prefer separate blankets, so prepared the bed with extra bedlinen. Special thanks for that! The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, very good sleep!

There should be a chair in the room to sit down when taking on shoes. Obviously people don't want to sit with their street garment on the bed. The bar chairs are not suitable for this. Just one small hair would be very practical and would not occupy too much space.

I liked the location and all the amenities it provided .Our host was very helpful and responded quick with any questions we had . Antonio gave a lot of recommendations on where to eat and places to see and met us upon check in to explain everything.

Clean, quite spacious apartment with great location. All important appliances, including fridge, were available at the apartment ; only the coffee machine was shared with another apartment in the private mini-corridor. There is a heating , so even in winter it was warm. Very nice selection of pillows and duvets/blankets. External blinds ensure that the room is really dark for a good night of sleep and they limit the noise coming from the piazza below.

The mattress on the bed was like a sponge - extremely soft. There is a pipe in the bedroom which makes quite a lot of noise, but not that bad.

What a great stay! Antonio was a great host, and his correspondence before our arrival made it a breeze to find his place. When we were in the lobby of the building, he came down to meet us. Antonio helped with the bags and gave a detailed brief of the building and room so we would not have problems going in and out. He also talked about emergencies and if we had problems of any kind to drop him a line. The apartment was very recently refurbished - everything was to a very high and comfortable standard. There was also a few local pastry treats as part of the welcome. The location is also perfect - easy walking distance of the castle, subway, ferry, and bus lines. The place is truly a great spot to kick off any vacation. The view was amazing and had a small balcony. The apartment is facing the street (6th floor with elevator), but can be a bit noisy with a main street below. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Everything was great.

We stayed in the Elite room with the terrace overlooking the port and Vesuvius. It was close to the Spanish Quarter and the funiculars as well as cafes and restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets. The property was easy to find, clean, bright, spacious, with free wifi, A/C, refrigerator, walk-in wardrobe with lots of storage, a washing machine and drying rack, kettle, cutlery and crockery - everything we needed. Antonio was the perfect host, giving us plenty of information about Naples and he met us at the door to help us with our bags. He was extremely informative and generous and nothing was too much trouble. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower. We would definitely recommend Relais Castel Nuovo as a place to stay in Naples and it would be our first choice when we visit again.

There was nothing that we disliked. I should mention that the the terrace is beautiful and a real bonus to have outdoor space but of course it is by the port and main roads so don't expect it to be quiet! Not a problem for us but might be for other travellers. The double glazing is very good so it is not noisy in the department.

I absolutely loved this apartment! The highlight is definitely the huge balcony with a stunning sea view, including a breathtaking sight of Mount Vesuvius—it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The location is unbeatable, with the best local markets, shops, and galleries just a short walk away. Plus, it’s conveniently situated right next to the bus stop, making it easy to get around. The apartment itself is well-equipped, featuring a mini kitchen that’s great for preparing meals, a washing machine for added convenience, and a modern bathroom with a good cabinet for storage. And Andrea was a fantastic host—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. But that balcony—it’s so spacious and truly the star of the place. Highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area!

Perfectly located Hotel, near the port, hop on hop off bus. A subway stop Municipo is a short walking distance from the hotel. Our host Antonio was fantastic. He communicated with us constantly and answered all of my questions. An elevator allowed us to carry our bags up to our roomy apartment. The apartment well stocked, with housewares and utensils. The bed was a memory foam style and really comfortable. This was an extremely pleasant stay and I would stay again if I am ever in Naples again.

Anthony & Andrea are great hosts, not only prividing very comfortable accommodation, but giving heaps of information and help about the area. The room is located close to the Metro making it easy to move around Napoli, especially if you want to visit to Castle Saint Elmo, one line no changes. We walked mostly, as everything is mostly within 15 mins. The room is big, with a comfortable kingsize bed, and kitchen with washing machine. Thanks to the cleaning staff who do an exceptional job, it is spotless. The room has the best shower we've had in Italy, big enough for a big Aussie, We will definatly stay there when next in Napoli. Trattoria la Lazzora with baccalà was the best food experience that was reccomended by the host. This trattoria is located 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Paid parking is nearby. 30 euro for 24 hours. Thanks a lot.

Nothing

The location is just perfect. It is the last stop of Alibus which goes from the airport. It is just near the port from where you can take a ferry for example to Amalfi or Capri. The host was very polite and responsive.

The only thing which was not to our liking was that the cleaning lady would come every day during our three days stay which in our opinion was too much as we were present in the apartment only during nights. When asked about a possibility to cancel the lady in order to be more sustainable with her work and towels, the owner said there is no such possibility. Other than that, everything was superb.
