Location was perfect for cruise port! When arriving at airport get the Alibus and stay on to the last stop - port! We then met Antonio outside the main entrance - he recognised us by a photo i sent on whatsapp. He took us up in lift to 6th floor where they have 3 separate apartments. You use another key to get into this complex which has an office at the front, then a corridor with each of the 3 rooms coming off that. We had booked the room with the terrace which we loved!! There is an egg chair and a large sofa you can lie on and catch the sun until early afternoon. Views are as per the booking.com photo. Mt VESUVIUS looms large. Can clearly see Capri and Sorrento. Apartment decorated and fitted to a very high standard indeed, as are the other two which Antonio let us see. Rain shower, comfy big bed, fridge with ice compartment. induction hob, microwave, washing machine. We loved this apartment and watching cruise ships come and go, as well as people watching! It gets extremely quiet at night. Antonio's friend owns an Italian restaurant just behind this building and he has 10% off leaflets. We used it twice and loved it - so busy tells you all you need to know! So in our summary 10/10 well deserved Antonio!

Great location, very helpful owners. It's a block away from the metro, the passenger ferries, the airport shuttle (Alibus) has a terminus station right across the street (at the cruise ship terminal), very very convenient, especially if you are heading out for day trips around Naples. The neighbourhood was lively but felt very safe. The entrance to the building is on a major street, all in all, after a few days of stay, we felt very at home. We bought a 7 day regional transit pass, and actually used it less than we thought we would because the city is quite walkable. We took the funicular to the St. Elmo Castle and thought maybe we would take transit back... But as we came out of Montesanto area and looked for dinner maybe a 5 min walk away... Then you know, you start walking and the next thing you know you're only 10min away from the apartment and you might as well just walk all the way there instead of the up and down of in/out of the metro. I can't stress how great the location is. The room was well equipped with everything you'd need. We had a super early flight out of the city and was dreading figuring out a taxi in the morning. Antonio was a great help and arranged for a taxi for us for a 4am pick up. Great communication throughout, we could text him over WhatsApp and he's very responsive and knowledgeable. I haven't gotten lost, but I bet if I had.. and asked him for direction/help.. he would have done it over WhatsApp.

Nothing really... It was seriously quite nice.

This apartment is very comfortable, secure building and right opposite the cruise ship and ferry docking areas. Spacious living/sleeping area, decent size kitchenette with enough equipment if you want to prepare a meal in. Bathroom is a good size, nice towels and liquid soap provided. It was also a nice surprise to find there is a walk in robe so there's heaps of room for clothes, toiletries etc. But the bonus is the fabulous balcony, it is huge. So nice to sit out there with a coffee or a wine and watch the ships come in & out, and people scurrying everywhere. Easy to walk to metro for access to Garibaldi or Centrale train stations. Great host with excellent communication. Would definitely stay there again

It was often a bit noisy but that's to be expected with the location right on a busy road near the port but it didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

Fantastic location, really convenient to the metro, port and airport bus terminal. Stunning views from the terrace. Host was very helpful before arriving and during our stay. Good air con! Great spot for sunrise!

The WiFi barely works. Also the terrace, which is the real selling point of this apartment needs cleaned. When the cleaner came into our room in the morning, I said we were leaving the room shortly and she could come back then. When we came back a few hours later the room had not been cleaned. Perhaps some signs to hang on the doors to say when the room can be serviced/not serviced would stop this happening again.

Perfect location with incredible view. There are three rooms at this property, we had the one with the loggia. Walking distance to the Spanish Quarter, the ferries leave from front of the building, direct connection to the airport with by bus, certain organized trips offer pickup from the hotel next door. I made use of the washing machine and the drying rack once. Kitchen was well equipped for the stay of three nights. The property was spotlessly clean. The cleaning lady noticed that we prefer separate blankets, so prepared the bed with extra bedlinen. Special thanks for that! The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, very good sleep!

There should be a chair in the room to sit down when taking on shoes. Obviously people don't want to sit with their street garment on the bed. The bar chairs are not suitable for this. Just one small hair would be very practical and would not occupy too much space.

A complete, modern efficiency studio apartment located in a secure and clean office building, the main attraction to picking this room is the beautiful balcony overlooking the harbor, Mt. Vesuvius and Capri. The place was spotless, furnished with a comfortable queen bed, walk-in closet, full kitchen and bar, laundry facilities, bath with shower, WiFi, all that you need for a short- or long-term stay. Rate was very reasonable for this beautiful, well lit and spacious apartment. 10-minute walk to Central Storico, lots of restaurants in walking distance, Hop-On Hop-Off located across the street, and Fast ferries are located next to the cruise ships if you want to visit the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Our hosts the brothers Antonio and Andrea were very welcoming and friendly. They coordinated our check-in and ordered our cab for early pick up to the airport. Will definitely stay in Relais Castel Nuovo again when the occasion arises.

WiFi was weak. It seemed isolated and uncomfortable walking after dark once all the cruise ships left port. Our first visit to Naples, although it was a layover and not a destination, it might have been helpful to have a little more information about how to navigate Naples at night. It’s fair to say we did not ask our hosts for this info but now we know.

Clean, quite spacious apartment with great location. All important appliances, including fridge, were available at the apartment ; only the coffee machine was shared with another apartment in the private mini-corridor. There is a heating , so even in winter it was warm. Very nice selection of pillows and duvets/blankets. External blinds ensure that the room is really dark for a good night of sleep and they limit the noise coming from the piazza below.

The mattress on the bed was like a sponge - extremely soft. There is a pipe in the bedroom which makes quite a lot of noise, but not that bad.

What a great stay! Antonio was a great host, and his correspondence before our arrival made it a breeze to find his place. When we were in the lobby of the building, he came down to meet us. Antonio helped with the bags and gave a detailed brief of the building and room so we would not have problems going in and out. He also talked about emergencies and if we had problems of any kind to drop him a line. The apartment was very recently refurbished - everything was to a very high and comfortable standard. There was also a few local pastry treats as part of the welcome. The location is also perfect - easy walking distance of the castle, subway, ferry, and bus lines. The place is truly a great spot to kick off any vacation. The view was amazing and had a small balcony. The apartment is facing the street (6th floor with elevator), but can be a bit noisy with a main street below. Thank you so much for the great stay.

I liked the location and all the amenities it provided .Our host was very helpful and responded quick with any questions we had . Antonio gave a lot of recommendations on where to eat and places to see and met us upon check in to explain everything.

We stayed at the elite suite with the terrace. That view was fantastic! We enjoyed it very much late at night after a long day around the city. The apartment was clean and perfectly organized with anything you need. Antonio , the host, was very nice and helpful. He welcomed us and helped us settle in. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back soon!

I loved our stay so personally nothing I didn't like. If I really have to give a suggestion/advice the bed was comfortable for us but he could be too small for a tall person/couples.
