The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with AC, and the hostel provides locks if you forget yours and extra blankets if you get cold at night. The bathrooms are designed for privacy, which is a nice touch. The common space is cosy and lively, with people always hanging out, board games, guitar and piano, and even some old arcade games. The kitchen is available, and the staff even offered to teach us how to make Italian pasta. Breakfast is simple but filling, with coffee, bread, eggs, milk, cereal, and juice. The staff gave excellent local food recommendations and went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing experience, offering activity suggestions and helping with any issues, from transport to lost items. They truly care about everyone staying at the hostel, making it a welcoming and fun place to stay.

Great location, near to the port and the bus station. A nice bakery and restaurants just downstairs / nearby. Was able to store the luggage there in advance at 8am, appreciate it.

Breakfast, tho included, was too simple and didn't taste so well. The AC was not working, it only cools and doesn't warm the room. We used the blankets in the room, was acceptable. The elevator costed 1 euro per ride on the day when we leave... Not sure if our room card expires or what was the problem - unbelievable when we stayed in the building and needed to pay for the use of elevator.

Hostel of the Sun is an excellent choice. My room was very comfortable, and the accommodation was spotless, with air conditioning. There’s a common room with games, and the location is ideal, within walking distance of the metro, the historic centre, and about 5–10 minutes from the Alibus stop to the airport and ferries to the islands, including the Amalfi Coast. The staff truly go above and beyond. I arrived early in the morning and was warmly welcomed by the lovely Nunzia with a delicious international breakfast featuring scrambled eggs, salami, salad, fruit, bread, yoghurt, cereals, milk, and coffee. Nunzia suggested I visit Procida, a hidden gem in the Bay of Naples just 40 minutes away by ferry. It was the perfect recommendation, peaceful, scenic, and with fantastic fresh seafood. In the evening, Milad recommended Ntretella Cucina Tipica Napoletana, a traditional Neapolitan pizzeria in the old town, absolutely delicious and very affordable. A big thank you to Nunzia and Milad for making my stay in Naples truly unforgettable!

The staff is amazing, all of them!! Very friendly and genuine people!♡ Location is very convenient: walking distance to old town and many other places; safe at night; 2 min walk to the metro; and 3 stops by metro to the main train station. The place is kept clean: our bathroom in the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast is much better than any other hostel I've been (not just the usual bread with jam), and they have a proper coffee!! They even gave us snacks and drinks to celebrate new years eve. And the staff...did i mention the staff already??:)) Thank you so much guys, you're awesome!!:))

Almost no issues

Super friendly and helpful staff, close to the metro and to the bus to the airport, lots of food places around, air conditioning and hot water pressure were amazing!!

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The elevator during the week costs money.. when we arrived we had no clue how much it was and we were hot and disoriented so we opted for the stairs. They have some change in the hostel for the elevator but that doesn’t help you when you’re first arriving with luggage! Maybe we missed this info somewhere in the confirmation email. It also was challenging to have our laundry done. We would either arrive too late, or there would be too many people ahead of us. Reception doesn’t open until 8AM so on the day we went to Pompeii that was also a write off for doing laundry since we left before someone was behind the desk.

The staff was extremely friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was sufficient, and the location was absolutely perfect—very close to the city center!

The hostel was a great place to stay, but there are a couple of small things that could be improved. 1. It could be a bit cleaner, especially in the corners of the rooms and the bathroom in general. 2. I would also recommend considering adding curtains for the beds to provide more privacy. This would also help prevent disturbances when someone turns on the light in the room.

Very poor breakfast. Scrambled eggs looked stale, butter tasted expired. There is no buffet, you just get a tray with stuff. Vegan option equals chopped up cucumber and tomatoes. You have to pay for the lift to go down (it is free only going up). Someone in the reviews mentioned a jar of coins at the reception but nobody told us about it so we walked down 6 floors each time we went out.

Hostel of the Sun welcomed me with open arms and helps with everything I needed. They recommended the best places and we have such a deep discussion about Naples with Gabriella. Made friends super easily in the common room, and the brealfast was rich! The day I was checking out I woke up late but the receptionist was super cool about it bless his heart. There were three bathrooms (one for disabled!) for 14 beds. Very Good!

I went in to shower at night and there wasn't any warm water. I ask the reception about it and she told me that if people have had many showers I need to let the water run for a while so the warm water can come out. I did that the next day and all good!

Firstly thanks to Berrin and Christian. That guys so helpful and always smile face to customer. When I looked at this place while researching, it had a low score and I went there with question marks in my mind, but from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The guests who came to the house were also friendly. The location of the house is very nice. You can reach it from the airport by one bus. Thank you again for your service. If I come to Naples again, this is the place I will stay.

The air conditioner was on while I was sleeping at night and that's why I got sick. I recommend bringing warm pajamas while sleeping.
