Rita gave excellent advance information with clear directions. As well as a main bedroom, there was a kitchen area with and basic cooking facilities, a separate bathroom with shower, and a balcony. Room was large but the heating and hot water were both fine and controllable from inside the room. Good cleanliness. WiFi worked well. Central location but not in a main thoroughfare.

Printed instructions for using the heating controller in the room would be good, as it is a bit complicated. I only used the fridge for drinks but it was really a wine cooler, so not suitable for larger items.

The staff there, Sabrina, who is the owner, and Rita, were extremely friendly and helpful. A real delight to stay in this lovey town. The only regret we have been not staying there longer than 2 nights as there were so many more places we would like to visit and restaurants we like to dine at. We sincerely apologize for not dining at Sabrina's bar/restaurant which was absolutely lovely due to our lack of time in Orvieto, and the place was packed. Casa Vera is definitely value for money and we will stay there again as well as recommend to anyone who plans to visit Orvieto. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Not enough time spent in Orvieto

Great location and clean beautiful room. The host guided us to the nearest parking garage and gave us recommendations of what to do in the city and where to eat. Breakfast is available but not included, we did not try it though.

The rooms had poor sound insulation, you could hear the neighbors, even in the bathroom. Unfortunately the AC unit suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night during one of the hottest days. We could not get hold of the owner at that time.

We loved the staff! They were very thoughtful and kind and helped us with a map to find what we needed. We liked the location which was close to the sites and restaurants. The beds were the best and the bathroom was small but the water pressure was good. It was a little cold when we were there and the heater worked fine. We wish we could have stayed longer. They have a parking pass so that we could use the closest garage and the staff helped us locate the garage and the parking spot. Overall, a great stay!

The rooms are more than we have expected. We are a group of 11 people and booked 4 rooms/suits. The rooms are located in different floors but full of charms. The owner, Sabrina, is a great host and very friendly, who speaks English fluently. The owner also runs a restaurant just right next door. We arrived late, had a dinner at the restaurant and also did the breakfast. Orvieto is a lovely town on the cliff. The parking was a bit challenge with our two vans but with the help from Sabrina, we did just fine!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Vèra Affittacamere! Rita was incredibly kind and helpful, reaching out to us before our arrival to ensure we had no trouble finding the place. She guided us to the parking lot where we met, and then accompanied us on a short two-minute walk to the building. Upon entering, we were greeted by a stunning atrium, showcasing classic Italian architecture, beautiful flowers, and a charming seating area. Our apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a bright and clean bathroom. The location was also ideal—situated on a quiet street yet just steps away from the main street and the heart of the city. They do offer complementary breakfast, however, we had to leave very early and never had a chance to try it.

This is a great location right in the centre of Orvietto. They provided secure parking very close by. The staff could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was ideal for our short stay with spacious rooms, one of which included cooking facilities. The restaurant provided one of the best and most memorable meals, followed up with a superb buffet breakfast. We would have liked to stay longer. Orvietto is a beautiful town to explore.

The staff was very friendly and helpful from the start. They made check in easy and showed us to the room. The room was simple but updated with a nice bathroom and shower. The location is right in the middle of town just minutes from everything. It is tucked away on a small street so make sure you know where you are going. They have a restaurant open on weekends and the dinner we had there was fantastic. They also run Bottega Vera closer to the Duomo that is open all day. My son loved all the truffle flavors we had there. Overall, very affordable, comfortable, and hospitable.

This was our first trip to Orvieto and we were excited to be staying in the centro. Rita managed our communications prior to the trip, met us upon arrival, and supported us during our stay with such professionalism and kindness. The room was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was spacious (including the shower!). Everything we needed was at our disposal. It was clear from the very beginning that our experience at Casa Vera Affitacamere was of the utmost concern of the staff. We would not stay anywhere else in Orvieto!

Wow. We arrived late and the hosts help us with parking the car and our bags. Above a beautiful restaurant which we purchased a bottle of prosecco to enjoy in the room. Charming apartment with a terrace, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, high pressure shower, nothing bad to say. Hosts very timely on communication and making our short stay lovely. Would love to stay longer in this pretty town. Definitely recommend.
