We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable—especially Lyudmila at the front desk, who went above and beyond to assist us with our car rental and even helped us discover some fantastic local restaurants, complete with reservations. The location couldn’t be better for tourists—it’s ideally situated for exploring Palermo’s main attractions. Plus, its proximity to the port makes it a convenient choice for anyone planning to catch a cruise or ferry. Highly recommended for both leisure travelers and those embarking on sea adventures!

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, as were the restaurant staff both at breakfast and dinner. Dinners were great value for money so worth having. Location was ideal for access to all major tourist attractions within Palermo, and access to the port too. Hotel benefits from having its own car park at the rear, that is secure and has surveillance cameras, and has a reasonable price per night. Room was functional and comfortable, with views to the port. Daily housekeeping service was provided.

Hotel seems to be undergoing some renovations that are not fully advertised when booking, but they did not interfere with our stay. Would be good to have better control unit for the A/C within the room, as the A/C switches itself off for no reason as the room was still uncomfortably warm.

Room: Stayed in room 215 on the 2nd level. The standard double felt more like a suite with a spacious layout and lounge area at the entrance. I might have squealed when I walked into the bathroom and saw the size of the shower and the spa bath in the corner. Bed was comfortable, aircon worked efficiently even though we had afternoon sun on one of the windows. Amenities were excellent, including minibar, coffee/tea station, toiletries, and a large TV. Plenty of towels were provided. The lounge room in addition to minibar, included a large table and chairs, a sofa bed and large luggage racks. Food & Dining: Breakfast buffet had a good variety with local specialties and fresh pastries. The rooftop restaurant, Terrazza Marine, offered a stunning view of the city/port area where we could watch our cruise ship arrive. Cleanliness & Service: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Yulia for arranging a taxi to the cruise ship. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Location & Extras: Conveniently close to Palermo port, with parking available behind the building. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

Views from the room were not great. The waterproof mattress protector made a slight plastic sound and feel. The hotel is near the port, but you can't walk there with luggage due to the busy road and lack of footpaths on the port side.

The hotel was very welcoming. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Buses locally take you into centre of town, otherwise only 15 to 20 mins of walking only to the main tourist sites. The food service was the highlight. Varied, tasty and filling breakfast. Buffet dinner was good too. The dining room staff worked relentlessly to ensure we were all fed on time and were always very friendly.

- breakfast is very good. there are gluten free products. the hall where the breakfast is served has a beautiful view to the harbour. - although our first impression about our room (room no 201) is a bit old, after some time due to its cleanness and size, you start not to see the oldness of it. in addition to that, at the first instance, due to the noise from the cruise ship harbour, you think that you will never sleep well, but the beds are so good and after some time, you realize that you are in need of that sound which makes your travel happier. - location is good, but you have to take into consideration of 15-20 minutes walking to the old centre of the city. - personnel is very helpful, especially Yulia from the reception, lady that cleans our room and Giovanna from restaurant whom we were confronted more are worth mentioning with their smiling faces and helpful attitudes. - diner open buffet is very good to a reasonable price.

- although the personnel warned us implicitly about not using the back neighbourhood way (which is more interesting for us) instead of the main road to hotel due to a potential unsafe situation, but, we even participated to a wedding party at night there. I always believe the phrase which I read in a website about Palermo "they are not bad people, they are only poor people". so, in my opinion, there is no real problem about the location.

3 rooms booked for proximity to MSC Cruise port. Even better than expected (6minutes to Port Gate). Easy access to City Centre (10mins) and 20mins to Old City. Staff exceptional - couldn't have been more helpful (good English). Room décor basic but spacious and impeccably clean. Lounge really spacious and comfortable with good views of Port while we waited for embarkation. Breakfast excellent with goof variety of food (hot & cold) in top floor panoramic restaurant. Used it for another 1 night stay on return from Cruise. Would definitely recommend!

Shower tray leaked. Only 1 night stay so reported it and promise to be fixed.

Very big room covers all your needs, spacy bathroom, tea/cofee in the room. Good and secure parking behind the hotel (the parking has about 35-38 places for cars and even in the night there were some of them free, Feb/2025/Friday). The breakfast on the 7th floor sala was very good. Close to the Teatro Politeama (~700m walking distance) and city center

breakfast, view, and location is great. manager took care of our complain immediately and switched our room that is more to the standard.

The first room we got was not to standard, towels are like wash clothes with holes and there was swedge smell coming from the bathroom in the morning.

The hotel staff were awesome. Kudos to Antonella, Sarah and others for representing Ibis so well. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety. Location is really good for exploring the city center area. The front desk recommended a car service that was fantastic. We used them daily and never any issues. Ask reception to provide you with contact info for Silvio’s car service. You won’t be disappointed with the vehicles, drivers or the price!

It was very handy to get to, and within a short walking distance to the centre. The staff were lovely, so kind and helpful! The food was good, and the breakfast was fab! We enjoyed it every morning! We will be sure to come back again! We had a late flight and the staff allowed us to leave our suitcases at the hotel for pick-up later on. There’s also a 24/7 bar with some snacks and drinks operated by the reception.
