Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, cleaning staff did an excellent job, localisation was good (right beside the Termini train station - 30 minute walk from the Colosseum - also located just beside La Romana and close to other fantastic restaurants), bed was nice and comfortable (extra blanket is in the wardrobe drawer), and a hairdryer, shampoo, and soap is provided for you. Fridge is in your room if you want to do some shopping as well. Microwave and other things are in the hallway. Place to charge your phone is located just above the bed.

The bathroom is a bit small, but it's not that much of a problem. As others write, the room does tend to get a bit cold and noisy as it is by a busy road - but the cold aspect is easily solved with the extra blanket. The AC "works", as in it turns on, but hot/warm air doesn't seem to flow. My window didn't close properly, but, again, not a huge issue.

Had the basics.

Not very good sound proofing. Only had one pillow. I like about 4. Also please change the towels each day. Energy saver is also a pain in the ass as you can't put portable chargers and the like on to charge up while you go out. Energy saver keys have literally no benefit to the guests. When you are paying, if you want to use electricity you should be able to.

The hotel, occupying the first floor of a belle-epoque building, is situated close to the Stazione Termini and at a walking distance from some key-places in Rome like the Foro, the Presidential Palace or the Fontana Trevi, in a a quiet zone, although there are a few bus stations nearby. Our rooms and bathrooms were tiny, but spotlessly clean and with all one could need for a pleasant stay. The bed was very confortable, and the AC worked perfectly.

The wi-fi was a bit slow and with many interruptions. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but there are some small cafes not far from it.

It's a very clean small hotel located in a nice area in 10 minutes from the railway station. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Wifi worked fine. The shower is really small, it could be a problem for some guests. The only issue I had was the low sound isolation. You could literally hear everything from other rooms and the hall. Fortunately, my neighbors were quiet.

The Baltic Guest House is a small, clean hotel close to the centre of Rome. I was pleasantly surprised by the very friendly owners and staff. There is plenty of choice of real Italian pizzerias and restaurants nearby. The night transfer to the airport was nice and comfortable. All in all a perfect place for me to stay and recommend for short trips.

I had a little issue with toilet flush panel -

In general, if a room doesn’t have a balcony or any facility where towels can properly dry after a shower, then towels need to be changed daily. I won’t use a damp towel. I care deeply about the environment, but I care more about my skin.

Proximity to transport into the major sites of Rome was great.. it was also easily walkable to many areas. Local restaurants way more affordable than those next to major sites. Room was clean and well equipped. Tea/ coffee and microwave very appreciated

Nothing springs out as a bad feature

Location was perfect for seeing Rome by walking. Felt very safe in the area. Very clean and bed very comfortable. Nice restaurants all very close. Receptionist helped me when I had an issue with my phone

There was no milk at breakfast on a couple of days. A kettle in the room would have been perfect.

The room was small but enough for one person. Two people would have to squeeze in. The bed was comfortable, toilet was clean. The location was 20 mins to historical center like the fountain, pantheon etc. The street was clean and safe to walk at night by myself. Staff were lovely and helpful. Walls were apparently thin but i was there to sleep and woke up early to see the city so i had no problem.

The room is similar to the description, the staff is attentive (even though my italian was bad and I had to communicate in english); The room has a minifridge, which was very helpful in my stay, and, although there isn't a breakfast option included in the place, the guesthouse offers a coffe station for the guests to serve themselves as they please during a long timerange. I could also benefit from a shuttle service from and to the airport (the price isn't low, but, as far as I know, it is a fair price for this kind of service in Rome). This was ideal for the comfort of my stay and I appreciated a lot the service (the staff, Jack, was very cooperative with my time needs even though it was very early in the morning - I had a flight scheduled at a very early time in the morning and needed to check-out about 4am).

(1)The localization is very good (the neighbourhood is calm and neat); however, although it was close to some bus stops, the access to the metro station is somewhat far away (~8-10 min walking), which might not be ideal after a few days for those people not inclined to do a lot of walking (or if you have a lot of luggages with you). (2) the temperature regulation was not working in my room (but since the weather was nice it didn't become a problem at all - being that the reason why I didn't even bring this problem to the knowledge of the staff).
