Hotel is in good location, 15-20 minutes to city centre. Plenty of buses going to city centre, 5 minutes walk away, very pleased with location. Breakfast, simple, but it's there all the time, doesn't matter what time you come, 7am - 10am. All Coffee's were strong though 😁 the hotel itself is a bit dated, but everything is there and very clean. I would definitely come back and recommend this place a friend who is on a slight budget!

The roof lounge/ cocktail bar with the view highly advertised... Well, there is a roof top you can access, but there is not much to do. We came around 11pm and the roof was pitch black, no lights of what so ever. We were using our phone to get to the chairs with a table. No bar at the roof, luckily we managed to get drinks from a bar on the ground floor. The view was okay, but not as advertised though. We haven't used the pool, but it's much much smaller than on most pictures, so be aware. Other than that, perfect hotel with great staff and great location

The reception staff were very attentive and polite. We had an issue with the air conditioning, and within 10 minutes everything was fixed. Excellent service!

We were very disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. We had a reservation, but when we arrived there was no staff at the entrance, so we sat down at a free table. Shortly after, a waitress came and, in a very rude and inappropriate manner, loudly told us in front of everyone to leave and wait at the door. This ruined the entire atmosphere and mood of the evening. In addition, the salmon steak I ordered was undercooked, and when my child asked for a burger without sauces, we were told it was impossible, and it was served with sauce anyway. Unfortunately, the restaurant left us with a very unpleasant impression.

The rooms size was very good, the bed was comfortable and they served an excellent buffet breakfast with wide variety of choices that my family enjoyed. The bedrooms are quiet and no outside noise. Wi Fi connection speed is adequate but could be better.

The shower space is okay however the draining system is not good. Often times the water is pooling on your feet. The hair dryer gets hot but hardly has no air flow. Also there are no slip mats on the shower floor which could post a danger. The restaurant food overpriced and mediocre on taste and variety of selection. We had a problem reaching front desk through our room phone (no one picks up our calls).

Excelent area. Very quiet but well connected. Reception staff were most welcoming and promptly solved all our requests. Room requests durring booking were fulfilled which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was OK, noting special, but with a few nice surprises. Like mini Philadelpia packets :)

Hotel caters almost exclisively to groups which means there is a lot of traffic in the hotel. Also, my opinion is that the owners are sqeezing the last penny out of the building running it on very low mantainance costs. Nothing that is not critical looks to be in a state of decay and ignored and even the cleaning ladies don't even use a vacum cleaner in the rooms becase they don't have access to one(it's brooms only). This makes cleanliness to be desired sometimes. Restaurant dinner food is bad. Breakfast is decent but restaurant food is bad.Even the atmosphere feels stuck in the 90s. I would not eat there unless everything else in the city was closed, this is Itally after all

The pool always had a bed available and the bar area was perfect for a drink and icecream. The staff were so helpful when asked about taxis or local info, and all spoke English perfectly! (We were very thankful for that) Rooms were just as described, everything you need as a tourist for the week and shower from above and handhold was amazing in the heat. Breakfast had everything we needed, couldn't complain.

Only downside is that one night we waited 20 minutes for the restaurant. We asked reception where we wait and staff kept passing us, not even saying they'll be with us soon. It was also a little far from the centre, 20m walk partly uphill for the metro and €20 taxi, but we always managed to get one where needed so wasn't a huge issue for us.

Travelling with my 11 year old son, so we wanted to see Rome and all the sights but be able to cool down and chill out by a pool afterwards. This hotel had it all! Excellent hotel on the outskirts of Rome but easily accessible to the city via metro 10 minutes walk away. The room was a good size, clean and cool. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and had everything you could possibly want to eat. Staff were friendly and informative. The pool area was well kept and clean. Roof terrace had a cocktail bar during certain hours and a beautiful view to Vatican City. This hotel is a real find! Great value for money. Can highly recommend.

Good place, slightly too expensive. Even though it’s a 4 star hotel, I expected a little better room. But the staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The location is quite good as for Rome, like 30 mins walk from the Vatican City. The food was good, both dinner at the restaurant and breakfast that was included. Cleaning staff also did great job. I recommend this place as probably something cheaper will be more far away, so I guess it’s fair.

Cardinal Hotel St. Peter is located a 5 minute walk to bus stop and then a 15 - 20 bus journey (916) to get into the heart of the city. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly those on reception. As we were travelling as a family we had two interconnecting rooms. This arrangement worked well. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning very efficient and the bathroom facilities provided everything required. There were lots of towels supplied and the beds were re-made each day. There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance should you need anything. Breakfast was varied - toast, scrambled eggs, cheese/cold meats, cereal, pastries, cake, yoghurt, fruit were all available together with fruit juices, coffee and tea. The pool area is great and was very welcome in the August heat. It isn’t the biggest pool but large enough for a decent swim/few lengths and for the kids to have fun in and to cool off. There were plenty of sun beds to use if you wanted to lay in the sun. Overall the hotel had a good balance for our 5 night trip.

The hotel was light and airy with a great looking pool and was clean throughout the hotel. Our room had a great view and was great for our stop over in Rome

The hotel was a bit further away than expected from accessible routes. We took taxis to and from the Vatican etc when we planned to walk/metro. Breakfast wasn’t the expected standard but fit purpose of our stay.

We loved the atmosphere in the hotel. The welcome was warm and throughout our stay all staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, and was serviced every day. It was comfortable and spacious. The balcony with a view of StPeters Dome was spectacular. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food.
