It was a great location still touristy but not as bad, good local bars and restaurants if you walk around Prati and speak to the locals. Close to Vatican and Ottaviano train station to get to into Rome city centre. It was just right for what we needed.

I assumed we would get two single beds as that’s what I had booked but were given only one and the bed wasn’t comfy and the duvet blanket was like a napkin it was so thin. The room is a bit cramped but there may have been other rooms in the property that were bigger. It felt a bit unclean and the 4 nights we were there they only came to clean it once.

The general location was spot on! Easy access to the metro, a 10 min walk to the Vatican and surrounded by authentic shops/restaurants. It was very clean, very comfy and the air con was perfect! We very much enjoyed our stay and will be returning!

The only negative thing is that we really struggled to find it when we first arrived. The signage wasn’t very clear and even locals weren’t sure where it was. A sign out the front with the accommodation name on would make it a lot easier as it is located at the back, in the middle of a load of other accommodations yet they all use the same front door. Although once it was found, it was all fine!

The location was perfect for us and the value we received for the money was very good. We had a decent room. The lady who was doing the cleaning and refresh of breakfast was very nice. There was good coffee for breakfast, fruits, bread, some pastry, yoghurt. I liked to see that there were umbrellas available at the reception for guests. I also liked that we had in our room a map with the main attractions in Rome.

- The bed sheets should be replaced, they were old, they had a poor quality and they were stained (probably old stains). - There is a space left between the doors and the floor, and the walls are quite thin, so you can hear all the noise and in the morning when the cleaning and preparation of breakfast is done, there is a lot of noise. Also, we had some reaaallly loud apartment neighbors so it was difficult to get a proper sleep. - Our room had the shower inside the room (not all the rooms are configured like this), near the bed, and it was not completely closed so the steam went in the room. It was not terrible but I would have preferred to know this detail before, because this is something that I would avoid.

Recommend!!! Francesco is an extraordinary host. The location of the property is the best in Rome, it’s near the metro Ottaviano and about 5 minutes away from the Basilica San Pietro. The neighborhood is very safe. The location is very clean and we appreciated that a lot. The breakfast is very tasty. The bed is very comfy. To sum up, the best location i’ve ever stayed in. I will definitely come back!

That I didn’t stay longer :(

* Amazing location, transport right on the doorstep and tonnes of options, there’s no where you can’t get to easily. You’re about 5 minutes walk to the Vatican City too, and there’s a lot of options for food and drinks close to the accommodation. Each day there are markets outside selling clothes, tourist things it creates nice buzz in the mornings. * Bed is super comfy. The room is really small but does the job, I knew it wouldn’t be huge but it’s true that in the photos it looks bigger. Really clean facilities. * There’s free breakfast which is such a nice detail! * Francesco was super nice and easy to contact and helpful when needed especially since our flight got delayed and we didn’t arrive to the accommodation until around 11PM, he was still waiting to let us enter which was such a nice detail. * We needed an iron and it was left in the room when they came to clean, good to know it’s available. * The air con is great and much needed in the hot Rome summers. * For me it’s important to have a good shower and the shower was great and super clean.

* Essentially there are 3 rooms inside an apartment, all with their own lock of course and separate keys, but there is a shared entrance with a separate key which is fine but we noticed sometimes we would arrive and the door was not locked by other guests, which was a bit frustrating since our room was the very first one upon entering. * Except for in the bathroom there was no mirror - not a huge deal just something to be aware of. * The rooms appear to be soundproofed but with people entering through the same door it can be noisy at different times. * Note that you will be required to pay the tourism tax, we were informed on our second night that we needed to leave cash in the apartment upon check out.

Overall this was the perfect place for my wife and I while we visited Rome for Easter. You are located near the Vatican Museums and right next to Ottaviano metro station, making getting to the other points of interest like the Colosseum a lot easier. The staff were great and made the check in super easy. The breakfast had a good selection of pastries and provided coffee pods, which was great first thing in the morning before going out to explore. The Prati area felt very safe, and there were a lot of good options for restraunts close to the guest house. I would happily stay here again.

The stay was nice. It was very easy to find the address and the room. The room was alright, there was a comfortable bed, a TV, a hair dryer. They had a kitchen which all guests were able to use - they offered tea, coffee, some snacks like little croissants, bananas, yoghurts which was very convinient in the mornings and you don't need to pay extra. The kitchen is not meant for cooking, I don't think there was a stove. The place is very close to the Vatican city (which was great as we were able to book early visits without getting up too early). There is metro station right outside (Ottaviano metro station) and you can get to the historical city center in about 10 minutes and to Termini Train Station in about 15 minutes. There was also a bus No. 23 quite close and we used it to get to the Trastevere district.

The room was a bit small but I think it's alright for the price. The wifi could be a bit better.

We could always reach Francesco and he made himself available really quickly ! We could leave our luggage even after check out. Great location, we barely used the public transport. But when needed, metro and buses are 2min walking from the guesthouse. The breakfast is more than enough as well. Thank you for not sticking to the bare minimum. I enjoyed having lunch. The room was really clean, even the kitchen. We saw the cleaning person every morning. Really nice and competent staff. The room was quiet and bed was comfy. Window is was giving to a wall but we did not care. We just wanted a comfy and clean room to relax after spending the day to walk and visit Roma !

The experience would have been perfect if the correspondence was only in English. You might receive messages in Portuguese and use a translator at some point. But that’s minor.

The location of the property is excellent. I walked eight minutes to St. Peter’s Square. There were restaurants all around. Lots of shopping right outside the door and down the streets. The metro is just one block over. The room itself was soundproofed, so it was extremely quiet, which was wonderful it’s air-conditioned. The room was very clean. The bathroom was really funny. It was an extremely elaborate shower that had six showerheads on the sides a massive showerhead over head and one hand held shower. It also played music had lights and had vents in it. The host was really great! They had a little kitchen that provided croissants every morning and coffee and tea. There was other snacks with toast and yogurt and juice. That was a really nice treat. In the room were two bottles of water in a small refrigerator . The place is extremely safe. It has three locks. The front door on the street is locked. The door to your hallway is locked and your room door is also locked. It’s a very nice area and I felt very safe walking at night alone. There’s so many tourists in the area. It’s quite a live. I really love this place. I’d go back in a minute.!

finding it the first time is a little bit of a challenge. And getting the keys and getting through the front door the first time. Once I mastered that it was fine.

Excellent accommodation in a perfect location. Everything was great, easy check in process and the perfect space, more than I expected. We had a private double room with bathroom but there is also a shared kitchen space with complimentary breakfast items every morning. Would definitely return!
