Giorgio was our host and lives in the apartment. He is sooooo hospitable and friendly :) When we arrived, he gave us loads of tips on where to go and what to see, showing us on a map sitting round the kitchen table. Check in instructions were straight forward as were the instructions on how to get to the apartment from the Termini station. Easy to get to Termini from the airport on the express train (around 14 euros pp). Room was spacious & clean and had all we needed including a small fridge & a standing fan to keep the room cool. Plenty food for breakfast which varied each day - eggs, ham, cheese, toast, cereal, cake, fruit juice and good coffee. Property has two rooms for let and we enjoyed sitting round the kitchen table with other guests if our breakfast timings coincided. Giorgio is very accommodating with breakfast timing eg if you have an early start for a tour/need to get to the airport early. On our last night, we had dinner with Giorgio in the little kitchen - he cooked fabulous food and we provided the wine - a really good night :) We had a lovely stay and have very fond memories of our great host!!

We were welcomed very generously at Gite House. Our host, Katya, was so accommodating to our late arrival and early departure. The location was perfect, only steps away from the train station. The room was a nice size, and comfortable. The best was the delicious breakfast in the morning! We had a lovely stay!

As clearly indicated, there was no A/C in the room. They did provide a strong fan, which was very needed. But, it was still quite warm in the room, so do keep that in mind if you are visiting Rome during the peak summer months!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Great locality near city center and Termini train station and metro station. The room was big, nice, clean with bathroom. Giorgio is the best host in the world. He was so patient, helpful and he provided us a lot of information about Rom and what is necessary to visit. He also warned us about the danger of being robbed in metro. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended. Grazie mille Giorgio!

It was a wonderful experience! The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, in the center of Rome, very close and within walking distance of all attractions. The owner, George, very friendly, very kind, helpful, always there to give the best advice and satisfy all our wishes! The richest and most delicious breakfast we have ever had, not even in a multi-star hotel buffet! The best choice we could have made! We would not change it with anything else. Lovely room in a convenient location. Georgio and Katia were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with all the necessary stuff to start your day.

The weather was really hot these days and the room was only equipped with a fan. Unfortunately there wasn't an air conditioner. This made our sleeping a bit difficult

Giorgio is the best host one can ask for. Earlier we were a bit sceptical as this was an apart-hotel and we were not sure how the facilities will be . But, Giorgio did not only maintain the highest standards but also went above and beyond in taking care of us . Also, cherry on the top is his tips which will help you explore Rome like a local. The location of the apart-hotel was also nice and close to Roma Termini and a couple of Metro stations . And the breakfast spread is so good , it makes you feel at home .

Very comfortable place to stay, close to the train station and well served by transports that are pretty close. Meeting the host and having the chance to chat and know him a bit it's the real plus, such an extraordinarily kind and nice person. When back in Rome, I'd choose it again for sure

Very close to Rome termini station. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. Both Giorgio and Caty are excellent hosts and great people. They were very helpful and nice.When we arrived Giorgio gived us amazing tips about the best places to visit and to eat. We deffinitely recommend this place.
