Common areas. Location is good and most of the staff is gentle and very helpful.

Slim indian guy at the reception desk is extremelly rude, does not listen what people talk to him and gets agressive talking loud (almost screaming) and disrespectfully when people try to ask for any kind of additional information (which is necessary, since he does not care about what people are asking and answers whatever he interprets) Other people I met at the hostel also complained about him: "what wrong with this guy?" Management should do something about his hostile behaviour (for reference, I'm complaining about the guy working at the desk on june 30 at around 19h30 or so). The rest of the staff is polite. Also overpriced.

I am this place's oldest customer - 25 years of staying. Some years are better than others, but the place is consistently IMPROVING in recent years. * Very clean room * Quiter than usual (I think one of the bars on the main street has closed) * Polite, helpful staff * Wi-fi is excellent. Strong signal on ALL floors (it never used to be!) * Air-Conditioning made the room very cold quickly * The lift has been working for two years now (a record!) * Location is not the prettiest, but the best for travelling and finding for your first time. * A dopo - See you later

* I would still like to see a working TV in the 'luxury room'. * Small bedside light / lamp would be nice.

I have made many reviews of this place, over many, years (over 20 years I have stayed here) Some of my reviews are good and some not so good. But this Hotel is definitely improving and deserves a MUCH HIGHER rating on Booking. * Location - I do not think there is a closer hotel to Termini. * Lift / Elevator - Has been updated and now works fine (No longer the Victorian death-trap!) * Single Room - Nice size / Super Cold Air Conditioning / Very quiet at night * Wifi - Excellent, reliable signal * Staff - Speak excellent English * Price - Cannot be beaten for what you get. * Fridge - Works fine. Nice and cold A few years ago, this place was definitely going down-hill but I have noticed an improvement recently. Ok, so it is scruffy and "well-worn" but you will not find a better place at this price. I have looked for years and come back to this place every year.

* The TV is still not working. Granted, it was not advertised in the booking, but they used to work and it is a shame they do not get them working, as it is an easy problem to fix * There used to be a kitchen that guests could use. I would like to see this return.

I liked that I could manually regulate the heating in the room! On 30 degrees, it was very warm considering winter time. Also that I’ve been waiting for the package to arrive by post and although it took more than the expected time for the post to deliver it - the personnel were understanding, supportive along the process and were able to receive the parcel although I’ve checked out already from the hostel! That was very customer oriented approach - big thumbs up for the service. Thats the only hostel in Rome that could do that. And additional thank you to the lady at the reception - very professional and helpful!

There was a moment when there was no water and that’s mostly it.

I have stayed here almost every year for over 20 years (with many reviews on Booking.com). Some years are better than others but this was a very good one. I was given a much better room that I had originally booked so I was very happy. Pleasant, English speaking staff. Room was very clean. Despite reviews on here, the HOT WATER IS FINE! Maybe people cannot do not know how to use the shower. The wi-fi actually works across the whole building now! Air-conditioning / heating worked well. For location and value this place cannot be beaten. "A dopo l'anno prossimo"

The curtain was just a thin 'net' and not a proper curtain and let light through and gave little privacy.

All was like in photos. I was in the room on the 4th floor for 4 persons. Wifi worked great. There was hot water and bidet. There was also 2 chairs and a 2 tables in the room. Everything was clean. No any kind of bugs in the room. There were lockers as well (you need to bring own locker). Also you can leave your stuff at reception after the checkout.

If you check in late (I think after 23:00 hrs) you have to pay additional money for a late check in. I think it was 10€…

I don’t know why there are so many terrible reviews of this hostel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, NO bed bugs, the dorm rooms were some of the most spacious I’ve ever had, and there was indeed warm water and wifi. I enjoyed my 2 nights there and they looked after my bags for an entire day before I caught my 5 pm train.

The location was very close to termini, nearly 30 minutes walk to many attractions. The room was nice, clean, and have air-conditioning for heating at night. The staff was very cooperative . There Alot of hotels and restaurants and shopping outlets in round abouts .

The double bed was not comfortable and needed to change. The toilet flush needs to repair, the bathroom could add shampoo. The elevator was very bad, and mosttime remain busy or stuck somewhere

staff was very helpful, spoke several languages. They met all of my requirements as I have a disability. Having said that, the room was big considering there were 6 beds. The room was really, really nice !!

the room I stayed in had the toilet some what broken and needs to be fixed. The sink faucet the water did not come out perfectly, I came out but not as well as I would have expected.

Everything, so close to the terminal and supermarket.

That the staff was putting random people in my room. I paid extra and for privacy. They had an Albanian guy who looking to steal and was so annoying and refuse to take a shower. I had to beg for him to be removed . Other than, everything else was ok
