First, all the staff were wonderful. They were always willing to help in any way… giving us directions, calling a cab, or suggesting restaurants. It was quaint yet the rooms were modern. All new rooms with comfortable beds, great showers and a bidet and amenities like makeup removers, and slippers. They even made us lattes and cappuccinos!! Breakfast was good and offered us many options. Great location near to the Neto bus stop, train station and many restaurants right down the block. It was a wonderful hotel!! I recommend highly to people!!

I had an early morning flight and chose to stay near Roma Termini so I could have easy access to catching the train to the airport. I didn't have high expectations going in, however Hotel Assisi was one of the best stays I had in Italy. The hotel has a 24 hour manned front desk, who is available when you check in (I'm so tired of the locations with self-check-in or confusing WhatsApp conversations). Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator that takes you directly to your floor (again, something you don't recognize is precious until you stay in a few places in Italy!). Shower had excellent water pressure, with hot water. Bedroom was suitably furnished with well located electrical outlets. Despite the location (1.5 blocks from Termini), it was quiet and safe and I could sleep without noise issues. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic - good combination of croissants/baked goods, yogurt, fruit juices etc. Above average compared to what is provided at more expensive hotels. Any traveler who has not traveled in Italy before may find being impressed with front desk, lifts, water pressure, water heat etc. a strange thing to be satisfied with, but once you travel a bit in Italy, you will find that what North American tourists may take for granted is not necessarily that easy to come by on the other side of the water! In any event, I would not hesitate to stay at the Hotel Assisi when arriving to or leaving from Rome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I was happy with my choice. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet and the staff polite and helpful. Lots of small restaurants in the area - one right next door, one across the street and one (Mino, very good) around the corner. I walked everywhere by myself and had no problems whatsoever. Hotel Assisi is a short walk from the main train station - an important point for those who, like me, travel by train.

My experience was positive. One negative thing: the clothes rack in the closet was so high I absolutely couldn't reach it (I'm not a dwarf). I had to use the door handles instead of a rack. Awkward, but I was there for only three days.

I stayed at this hotel 2years ago sight unseen. It worked perfectly for me then and when I knew I was coming back, without hesitation I booked it again. I was a little sad to see that what drew me to it before wasn’t the same reason. Prices have gone up and I almost decided to stay somewhere else since it cost about the same as other hotels in the area.

The fact that the price was higher for the same product.

Everything. Location, next to Termini giving easy access to the underground. Breakfast, plentiful. Staff, friendly, helpful, full of good advice, Rooms, clean and well maintained. wouldn't hesitate to go back, will be back.

we arrived by train from the airport and the hotel is literally 5 min walk( just make sure you exit the termini at the correct end! ) Hotel is very old hotel but it is spotlessly clean and rooms attended daily. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The location of hotel is perfect for trains or all the sights are walkable we walked everywhere ! colosseum about 20 mins make sure you have comfy footwear!!! There lots of little cafes and restaurants in all streets around the area ( much nicer than ones by main attractions… and cheaper!)

I couldnt get a coffee! no facilities in room and You had to buy breakfast to have one in hotel. However perfect little cafe opposite .

It was very clean. It has an authentic style that is missing from the big generic chain hotels. All the staff were incredibly helpful with any request.

Not much. The only quibble is the two steps up to the lift made it tricky manoeuvring my son's wheelchair. However, it is an old building, so you learn to accept these quirks.

We arrived very late after plane was delayed. The night watchman was so cheerful. Spoke to me in Italian and French. Total super star 🌟

Bathroom was a little old fashioned.

Breakfast was acceptable. Room is not very big, but clean. Room service is perfect. All staff polite and really helpful. Location is close to main railway station and metro.
