Great location comfortable neat & tidy

Shower base way we drain was blocked and base would fill up with water around my feet bit uncomfortable

Usually , I never booking accommodation under valuation 8,5/10. This hotel had valuation 7,6/10 when I booked ,but when I have read reviews it was full of complains because elevator to small, stairs to small, bathroom to small...I think that if I need to stay near Termini station, to have one single room with private bathroom and if I am not looking for big comfort this hotel gave me exactly what I needed in very good price. Staff is very friendly, room was clean and warm. I have to valuate this hotel higher than media.

Tv and Internet not function well inside the room, no signal/very low signal on the mobile in the room.

The hotel is in a convenient position right next to the Termini station, walking distance to everywhere.. Easy to get to and from airport via public transport. The hotel manager is friendly and accommodating. Please remember this is a 2 star hotel and if its luxury you're after then you will need to spend a lot more elsewhere. This is basic, clean and above all safe with private bathroom. Thats it. A place to sleep at the heart of Rome with shops, transport links and great, affordable restaurants all around. It maybe noisy here and there...Thats Rome. The bed matress firm, which suited us. Fridge and a fresh bottle of water every day, we also asked for a kettle. In Rome water is drinkable and available every 100m including sparking out of fountains!! This amazed me! In our room the AC wasn't the best,, but was ok. I would stay again and recommend to people looking to spend budget wisely.

We had a great experience. Yes it could use a bit of a revamp in decoration, but that's kind of the best bit. It feels authentic and Rome! The lift is hilarious. Its literally for your luggage, please don't moan about it, love it for the historic feature it is!

I was sceptical of the hotel and what my stay there would be like. When I first arrived, the entrance was a locked door. I wasn't sure what I was getting into as I waited to be let in after ringing the doorbell to the Hotel. Don't let the first impression bias your stay. The front desk host was very helpful and accommodating. Location, location, location. Minutes away from Roma Termini, so incredibly close to all forms of public transit: buses, metro and trains. Particularly good for day trips away from Rome and to airport (especially how tiny and crowded the sidewalks are, there's no need to struggle with your luggage to get to the airport or trains). Rooms were clean, though a little rough around the edges. Always had hot water and great water pressure for shower. Nothing is worse than having a cold shower after a long day/night out. Lots of outlets (and near bed) for all your electronic devices. There was air-conditioning that worked, so you can set the room temperature to your liking. Surprising quiet at night considering location and close proximity to the front desk.

Room was small, but that was expected. Room was a little worn down, but still comfortable. There were 2 pillow options: one was too high, the other was too low.

We were so close to Termini Station and to very good places to eat, pharmacy, and laundry. The bed was great and even though there's a lot of noise outside the window really helped to not listen to it that much.

It was fine with me but if you're a light sleeper this might not be the place for you. The area is super busy and you'll hear people talking, the garbage truck passing by, ambulances, cars... And the air conditioning could be better. It was central AC and sometimes didn't feel like the temperature we set it up.

Location was excellent and really close to the termini station. Staff were nice and friendly and very accomodating. Room was clean and towels fresh. AC was working nicely.

A mattress cover and a firmer mattress would have been very welcome. The window shutters where closed when we went to the room, and when asked, it was suggested that we shouldn't open them because it was too warm outside. I may have misunderstood, but, if so, even if the view outside the room wasn't great it's a lot better with the shutters open when it's nice and sunny outside.

We wanted to be near the railway station, and it was very close but still quiet. Staff were the standout, very helpful with everything including early luggage drop off , pre check in.

There is a lift, and it works, which was great, but it is very small. One with the luggage while the other does the stairs. But hey, no big issue for us

STAY HERE! Inside Termini Station-seek out McDonald's golden arches, walk towards them. To their right is the green-light Farmacia plus-sign. Walk thru: exit Termini, turn left, walk one block. Turn left, walk two blocks (past minimum of four restaurants. "Alba" on the left one block from Hotel Fenicia had delicious calamari, salmon pasta, & lasagna. Ichabaldi was top-notch server.) Stay on the left side of the street. "HOTEL FENICIA" sign is mounted high on the building. 18"x 5'ft TINY elevator, BUT, an elevator! Luggage drop-off hours before check-in..Super! Maheen- desk manager, gentleman, kind, patient. Super secure, 3 keys regimen 100+ degrees outside, BUT, so welcomed the remote-controlled, over-the-door air conditioner. Stayed 5 nights, supplies were replenished daily, same sheets thru-out, but appreciated that the bed was made daily. BEST huge comfortable bed pillows, EVER! * Directly across from exit of Termini, I purchased pop and beer and enjoyed in the room, refrigerated extras, where the management had also stocked daily , two bottles of natural water. Sadly, we cannot live in Roma! Hotel Fenicia is the next best thing!

The hotel is very convenient to the Termini train station on a small street on the north side of the station. Even through it is an old building, the room was very nice and the bathroom was fresh. I was traveling alone for business outside of Rome and needed a room for the night to catch my early morning flight the next day.

The hotel does not have an entrance on the ground level and the door was locked. Luckily the front desk staff had just stepped out and he met me on the street and let me in. The hotel is actually one floor up and guest are given a key to the ground level front door. I checked out at 7am and was not able to get a receipt at that time from the person that I returned the key to. I sent the hotel a message through Booking.com a few days later and they then quickly emailed me a receipt, which was greatly appreciated.

Very conveniently situated opposite Roma Termini station. Very affordable for Roma with good Italian restaurants right outside the building. Slim elevator for luggage on premises (not for people). Reception is manned and staff were promptly responsive. They allowed me to keep my suitcases at reception after I checked out because my flight departed at 10pm. Daily room service with fresh towels and room cleaning.

Noise easily transmitted through the walls, however this is standard for all converted historic accomodations/apartment buildings in Italy.
