Excellent location in the heart of the city ; close to all Rome attractions .. Perfect breakfast meeting various options

The location was great. 10 minute walk from the Colosseum, 20 minute walk from the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. 20 minute bus ride from the Vatican City. The room was big enough for what we needed. The bed was really comfortable, which is always a bonus. The breakfast buffet had a really good choice of hot and cold. assorted cereals, pastries & fruit.

it's not really a didn't like answer. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge. We walked straight past it on first attempt, as it has no signage. It is a glass and stainless steel door sandwiched in between a restaurant and shop.

The location was amazing and central to most of the sites/areas of interest. The breakfast spread was varied and large. Staff at the desk, breakfast room and cleaning were all fantastic. The room was great; we stayed for 8 days and it was a large size compared to average. We rarely heard noise from outside the room (from the street or other rooms). AC was wonderful. Close to a grocery store and farmacia, and many great food options.

It's a small thing, but would've been great to have the elevator air conditioned. It always felt 5-10 degrees hotter in the elevator; an unwelcome feeling coming back from long days or when looking to just start your day. Again -very minor item considering everything else was perfect for a week's stay.

Hotel Castellino was the perfect choice for our stay in Rome. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The Colosseum was especially close and we loved being able to explore so much of Rome on foot. The rooms were spacious, beautifully presented and wonderfully quiet, offering a welcome retreat after busy days exploring. The service was truly impeccable. When my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch behind, the hotel contacted us immediately to arrange its return, a level of honesty and care that speaks volumes. Breakfast each morning was varied and delicious and the staff even made my daughter a lovely iced coffee which she adored. The area around the hotel came alive at night with vibrant nightlife and even a live violinist performing nearby, adding to the magic of our evenings. Hotel Castellino exceeded our expectations in every way. We will absolutely return on our next trip to Rome and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, charm and exceptional service.

Excellent location if you want to explore Rome, only minuets away from all the main attractions so no need for taxi’s as everything is within walking distance. There is also an added benefit of some excellent restaurants in the area with two either side of the hotel, we ate in the Pizza restaurant left of the hotel as you leave where the food was fabulous and the price was very reasonable.

Towels were clean but well used, the pillows were too hard and there was street noise into the night making it difficult to get sleep if you’re early to bed however this could have been caused because it was an extremely busy weekend due to the Italia de’ Gira cycle race and Italian bank holiday taking place.

The hotel was centrally located in Rome so it was easy to access bus transportation or walk to the main attractions we wanted to see. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was beyond expectations! It had a variety of food to choose from and they allowed us to take some food to our room for the next morning when we had an early tour and would not be able to get breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to visit Rome!

The shower overflowed on me one time, so I had to decrease the water pressure because the drain wasn't draining quickly. Also, I would recommend having a non slip shower mat available for guests to use. The shower was extremely slippery when wet and I had to be very careful not to fall.

You can’t beat the location! Literally across the street from Piazza Venezia, easy walk to major attractions. The hotel is modern, clean, staff super friendly. Breakfast was great, I think pastry was coming from the bakery downstairs. You could literally smell the baking pastry in the elevator in the evening:) I totally loved it! If I had to complain about anything it would be that the elevator was super hot even though there was a/c in the rest of the hotel and you could hear the a/c in my room, but I have a window a/c unit in my apartment in NYC, so a bit of white noise didn’t bother me :) Otherwise I was facing the back of the building, so there was no street noice at all! Overall great choice!

Location was perfect for all of the main attractions. Colosseum, Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Paletine Hill all within 10/15 mins walk. Vatican over the river is a longer walk (or in our case, a short cab ride!) Breakfast was served in the cafe next door, and was of reasonable variety and quality. There is a roof terrace, which nobody tells you about (it's on the lift options). No bar or service up there but it's a nice space to sit outside.

The common areas of the hotel were cramped and dark. The staff on reception were a mixed bag, from unfriendly and unhelpful (begrudgingly organised a cab for us to get to the Vatican) to very friendly and very helpful (unfortunately we only met him on the day we left, but grateful for his help arranging a cab when our Uber to the station let us down!)

The entrance, staff welcome, room and bathroom. We used the restaurant downstairs for snacks and lots of drinks. Two of the waiters there took such great care of us and were so much fun, we kept retuning. Thank you

The coffee. The flask of Americano was weak and staff weren’t very forthcoming offering a coffee from the machine, service for coffee was slow. Coffee and coffee service is my only criticism of the stay otherwise, very good.

The location is perfect. In front of Piazza Venezia and walking distance to Fontana di Trevi, Coloseum and Pantheon... and the Trastevere neighborhood. The breakfast is nice, offering healthy and not so health options (so, good for all).

We were on 3rd floor... shower water pressure was not the best, although this is very minor (not really a complain).
