Breakfast was excellent. Staff was great, especially Ivano Lo Curto at the front desk. He was exceptionally helpful and has a great personality. The restaurant across the street was very good, we ate there twice. The laundry across the street was also good, fast and affordable (used it twice also). The location was close to the train station which is very helpful

The room lighting could be a little better and on the hot days turn on the air conditioning around 3-4 pm when customers start returning from their day trips. A small refridgerator in the rooms would really improve things for saving leftover food from eating out at restaurants.

Location near Roma Termini, worth the price, the cleaners were good they refill amenities and towels. Also, they don’t touch or move our belongings which is a thumbs up for us.

I think the facilities need to renovate the room like the interior and lights . For the breakfast, i prefer that the scrambled egg will be placed on a heating pan because it’s too cold to eat. I’m suggesting also if they can add some varieties of food in breakfast like boiled eggs, brioche vuoto without sugar on top or we must say the integrale brioche, spreads like nutella & marmellata, salami, more types of prosciutto, pancakes and brown sugar please. Lastly, always refill the breads.

The position of the hotel is great, as it is very close to the main station. Just a five-minute walk. The surrounding area is fine during the day, but it slightly changes its appeal at night time, as it gets a little bit dodgy, being filled with drifters. The area itself is sufficiently lit, so you will feel safe walking through, even at night time. The room I stayed in is an en-suite one. The shower is conveniently installed in the room and this is definitely a plus. The water in the shower was warm enough to use every morning, and free shampoo and shower gel samples were regularly provided by the housekeeping crew. Towels provided were also of good quality.

Breakfast could be improved, as there are not many options to choose from. The type of food offered is not my number one choice; probably because the management of the hotel is on a tight budget, and wants to save some money at the expense of guests.

The people were very nice and the breakfast was good. Coffee could have been better. The location was spot on, We were near the metro. The room was smaller than expected. The plumbing in the shower needed to be fixed. There was no pressure and water dripped all night. I did speak with the front desk and they informed me that they knew of the problem and that it would have to wait till November to be fixed. They never offered to change the room so we dealt with it. I did get a credit for that problem. Also, the air conditioning was unavailable because other customers complained it was too cold. I thought each room had its control whether to turn it on or not. Plus we had a barking dog when the windows were open so we closed them. Oh and who puts an elevator between floors? You have to carry your luggage up and down stairs. I think that is crazy. Other than that it was great.

The location is perfect near to the TERMINI / METRO station (choose because of it). Easy access for everything. Staff were very kind and friendly, very helpful. Breakfast was typical with Italian options. I could leave my luggage there and pick up later, after checked out. Close shops, restaurants, groceries. Free WIFI worked just fine.

The room was small, minimal, with old furnitures. Satisfied my needs - for stayin 1 night. You paid for the location not for the hotel. The lift was old, but worked wihtout problems.

Hotel Igea is located near station Trermini so you can easily catch metro to go to Vatican or any other part of Rome. If you don't want to use metro, by walk in just 20-30min you can visit all the main monuments. Other than location, the hotel room was very clean. You can tell that the hotel is old, but it has everything that one traveler needs. The stuff is very hospitable and nice. The breakfast was totaly ok, you can choose between salami, ham, eggs, cornflakes, croissants, jam etc. The view from our room was breathtaking and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning works great, we used it a lot since we visited Rome in June. All in all big recommendation for this hotel. Will be back 👌🏼

The water in the bathroom in the shower was too hot, we couldn't choose just cold water, the mechanisms seems to be broken.

The hotel is very convenient to Roma Termini, making it a perfect place to stay if you are coming/going by train. It is an excellent value for being so centrally located, and I found it to be safe, quiet, and clean - just what I needed as a solo female traveller. The front desk reception was also very kind and friendly to me.

The elevator does not let you out directly on your floor, so you will have to carry your suitcases either up or down some stairs, so I would not recommend this hotel for those with mobility concerns.

Bathroom very clean. The breakfast is good. Very nice personel at the reception.

Bed was awful. It consisted of 2 separate beds and 2 different matresses even if it stated one queen bed in the reservation. We could not sleep well at all. Coffee at breakfast is really bad. No fridge in the room.

Hotel close to train station and restaurants. It is clean and central. We arrived an hour before checking and we got our room ready before time. Breakfast was good and the lady taking care of the breakfast does her work really well. Reception always manned and helpful. We could leave our luggage after checking out too.

There is nothing to complain about. It is a typical italian hotel with lift, clean and very basic. No frills but good for our one night stay, we would return.

The location is super nice since it’s like 3 minutes away from Roma Termini and in a walkable distance to the famous landmarks. The staff was nice, I enjoyed the breakfast service and it felt safe for me as a solo traveler.

There was a lot of noise in the mornings and every day I woke up super early to the sounds of people stomping their feet on the halls. That was the only downside for me.
