The location is unbeatable, almost all landmarks are at walking distance. Waking up in the morning and looking at this square bathed in sunlight makes one’s day, and late at night, when everybody is asleep, looking at this empty square gives you a feeling of peace. We were delighted to have been given one of the old-style rooms, they are much more classy. The bed was huge, which was great, the mattress was perfect and there were two types of pillows—I wish other hotels did this too. The personnel is very serious and professional, always ready to find solutions to our needs.

The breakfast could be improved but then this is a country were breakfast is taken at the bar :-) There is Giolitti next door!

We stayed at Hotel Nazionale for just one night, but it left a great impression on us. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located—right in the heart of Rome, making it easy to explore the city on foot. What truly stood out was how incredibly clean everything was. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. And the bathroom—wow! It was the largest and most comfortable one we’ve seen during our time in Italy, where bathrooms are usually quite small. Even though our stay was short, it was very enjoyable, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay in Rome!

It was in the center of Rome, so I could walk to anywhere. Also, I could go to a delicious gelato shop within a minute. I liked the high ceilings in the room and the clean bathroom.

The description of the room on this app was different from the actual room. It said there was a bathtub in this room, but when I actually went there, there was none. I went to the front desk and asked, and they said there were no rooms available at the moment, so they moved me the next day. When you stay at this hotel, make sure to check if it is the same as the photo.

A fabulous hotel with a rich history and heritage to compliment a city with a rich history and heritage. The Nazionale has a wonderful old school style and feel about it, the staff are exceptionally helpful and you can’t help but feel a nicely spoiled by the whole experience. The location is right in the heart of the old city with allows you to experience Rome at its best.

Location of the property is awesome, close to shops, bus station, trevi fountain and pantheon is just walking distance.

The bed is hard and uncomfortable to sleep. But my friend in a different room their bed was comfy. Taxi access is quite a challenge especially during noon time because the road was close going to the hotel and we have to walked with our big luggages and meet the taxi about 20meters away from the hotel when we arrived to check in and checked out, because of demonstrations going on in front of the hotel (government building).

This is, I think, the 5th time we are coming here and we will always return and rate this hotel with a 10, despite there being some room for improvement. Because not only the location is prefect, without being suffocating for lack of space as other areas in the centro storico; not only are the rooms very clean and, when one chooses the higher categories of rooms, they are huge and with great view; not only the mattress and the pillows are just what one needs, but above all the personnel is impeccable, very professional in the “old school” way, something that one no longer finds easily in hotels today. Clients here are lucky to be welcomed by such a reception. It was not the case in much more expensive hotels we have been to elsewhere in Europe.

Breakfast and room service food can be improved. The bread, for instance was not fresh and in the past one could also order cheese and ham. The free wifi is quite useless. Also, some people may find the more standard rooms a bit disappointing.

A lovely hotel in the perfect location, a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, this hotel is ideal if you haven't visited Rome before and you want to stay close by some of the top Tourist attractions in the city. The breakfast is superb, lots of choice from Italian/Continental to scrambled eggs and bacon. We had a lovely spacious room, good sized bathroom, soft towels and comfortable beds. Customer service was excellent at the Nazionale, Reception staff were very helpful and their dining room and housekeeping colleagues very friendly. Highly recommended.

The room was large and very comfortable, fabulous breakfast and a wonderful location The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was large with a very very good shower The hotel is directly adjacent to the Parliament and very well placed to explore the city on foot and see the sites. For instance, the Spanish steps were not far, the Fontana De Trevi and the Pantheon were all a short walk away. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful We enjoyed walking around the areas near the hotel, finding new eating places and seeing the wonderful sites even at night. It felt that we were in a very safe area with lots to do and see. A terrific place to stay and would stay here again

On arrival the staff were so welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded for free and really enjoyed the view of the Parliament building from the room. The hotel was immaculate with the cleaners busying around all the time. The location is so central and great if you want to do all the sites which are no more than 30minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of hot and cold food and the cakes were divine. We will definitely be back.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. Was such a beautiful city and such an amazing stay at Hotel Nazionale
