Tirreno is a good hotel to spend some days in Rome. It is very near from Colosseo and a short walk from Termini Station. The restaurants in the street where is the Hotel are so good. Other strategic point is the Hotel is nearly between of 2 metro stations of different lines of the Rome Metro – Vittorio Emanuele in line A and Cavour in line B. The breakfast is simple and the rooms too, but we didn’t have any problem with air conditioning, or shower, or in the front desk. Is a good option to a simple stay that provide you a good location for tourism.

I loved the garden and the staff. The pastries and coffee in the morning were great, thank you for making hard boiled eggs! I loved the laid-back atmosphere and it felt like stepping into the hotel was like travelling back in time. It has a great mid century feel. The location is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Don't expect to relax after a long day with some mindless television, the TV in my room was about the size of my laptop, which, in it's own way, is totally perfect. Sit in the garden, go to the bar on the corner and just immerse yourself in Rome.

A luggage rack or two would have been nice. The curtains in my room didn't seem to work. The carpet in the hallway looked very old and could be replaced without losing the mid century feel.

This was an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It was close to Termini, making it accessible from the airport and a great starting place to explore the rest of the city. The side street the hotel was on was quiet and the area felt safe as a solo female. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Wifi signal was good. Breakfast (07:00-10:30) had a good selection with yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, pastries, crackers, fruit salad, juice, milk, and coffee. I was able to eat a big breakfast and then have a lighter lunch later.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tirreno. It's not a luxury hotel, but all the essentials were met. The room was clean, and quiet. We had a nice view of the garden. It was great to be able to control the thermostat ourselves, and there was plenty of warm water when taking a shower. We loved having breakfast onsite. It was not an extravagant breakfast, but the staff made sure the breakfast table had a variety and was fully stocked. It's was really great to be able to eat something onsite before starting our busy days. Above all, the location was perfect. We mostly walked from the hotel to our destinations, but the metro is also nearby and it was easy to hail a cab near the hotel. I will certainly stay here again. Thank you Hotel Tirreno for the warm welcoming hospitality.

I'm looking forward to the day when the bar opens again.

The location is excellent, although the building is old, it's maintenance and cleanness were making our stay extra satisfying. Very favourable neighborhood, many cafes and restaurants, superb lokal life experience, pleasant walking distance from everything. The highlight of the stay: the staff!! Extraordinary kind, welcoming and helpful staff, going out of their way to meet any of the guests needs.

The breakfast is a correct one and fitting into the definition of the continental breakfast. Nevertheless, the offer might be wider, like adding the scrambled eggs or an omelette on the menu.

For me it's perfect. Near by all I did. Walking to the termini. Close to a metro(underground) Reception helped and all I asked. Air condition in the room was great, as out side was very hot ! Good breakfast, shame I missed 2 days for my itinerary. For me great and easy experience. Thanks

Only probably lighter in the bathroom and stronger hair drier , I m a hair stylist and hair is very important for me but just little thing being in holiday, I managed pretty well.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The location was fantastic, walking distance to many of the main sites of Rome with lots of good restaurants, bars and cafes around. A short stroll into the beautiful Monti district which has the best bars and atmosphere, both day and night. Walking distance also from Termini station. The room was very comfortable with a small balcony, which was very quiet, waking up to the sound of the birds in the morning was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the room overall was very clean. Lots of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was abundant with fresh sweet pastries, cereals, yogurt and also eggs, ham and cheese with fresh bread, so a good variety to choose from. I would definitely stay again.

Quite, convenient location from the station, 10 minutes walk. Most of the main attractions of Rome are within walking distance. Friendly staff. Good, but monotonous, breakfasts. In rainy weather, when going out into the city you can take a free umbrella.

For this price I do not see any minuses, except for monotonous breakfasts.

Great location, extremely helpful staff.

The mattresses on the beds were thin, hard, and uncomfortable. One was concave and we asked the housekeeper to flip it. That made it better, but thicker newer mattresses would have improved the stay.

The location is great; very close to the important spots of the city. The men at front desk are very kind and the room was clean and comfy.

I just didnt like the fact that we need to leave the key before we go out and ask for it when we come back. Also, as the rooms are very close to each other, you can hear all the noises from next door.
