All Staff were very friendly & helpful. We loved the location, & being able to walk to many main sites (Capitoline hill & museum, victor monument, trevi, pantheon, piazza navona, Jewish quarter, mouth of truth, Aventine keyhole). Room & hotel was spotless, bed made daily & towels changed. Breakfast was good with variety of hot & cold items, all good quality. Aircon in room was very good, & we loved the size of our bedroom with the view of a part of the Roman forum. Excellent coffee making facility in the room. And we were able to drink the tap water there. Mini fridge was very useful to keep drinks cool after hot outings.

My only wish was there was no pool (would have been great in the August heat) or access to the private terrace to enjoy the gorgeous view. There was no balcony either, which would have been nice to enjoy the view. Breakfast: would have been nice to have some more vegetarian hot food options. Room: although they had very good coffee in the room, there was no tea making facility, a necessity for a Brit ;)

My first visit to Rome and the choice of hotel was the best decision I could have made. From the friendly staff the minute we walked through the door. This hotel was stylish, warm and very welcoming. The location was perfect to walk to all the major destinations in a friendly and quite part of the city. The room was amazing, clean, large, with a fantastic view on the Palatine and felt like home from home. The food was exceptional and the amazing breakfast team made sure got off to a great start. I can't recommend this lovely hotel highly enough and very much look forward to visiting again. Thank you to everyone of the hotel staff

What is there not to like about this place? From the moment we arrived to the time that we left, we were well looked after, staff were super polite and helpful, the room was clean and housekeeping were always on hand. The bar and restaurant staff were attentive and the food was great. The location to all the sites was perfect, pretty much 20 minutes walk from most places. The street is quiet and out the way of the crowds

The breakfast was perfect. I'm vegan and yet have found enough fruit and fresh rolls for myself. There were 7 of us staying and everyone loved the breakfast. Perfect location, couldn't be better. The friendliest of staff and very clean. We couldn't fault it. It was perfect.

Very comfortable; wonderful, welcoming staff to me and my family, including signorino Cameron; fantastic location between the river and the Forum. Special shout out to the wonderful cleaning staff and to Alessandro who took such good care of us. Highly recommended! PS Our mode of transportation was often Uber which - in partnership with local taxis companies - seems to be much more accessible than in the past.

This is our third stay at Kolbe Hotel in 5 years. We just love it. Great location, wonderful courtyard and garden. Having breakfast in the garden in warm weather is a separate performance! An amazing Mediterranean atmosphere and a mix of different eras, in the center of which you find yourself. Cozy attractive design of the lobby and restaurant. Excellent staff.

A round bed is not very comfortable because of its shape. The water is slowly draining out of the sink. We would like to see more variety in the breakfast menu.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kolbe Hotel in Rome. We were in a large triple room that overlooked the beautiful garden, which made it a peaceful and quiet experience. The staff were friendly and eager to help with anything we needed, making us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and serene atmosphere.

Lovation-fab for exploring antiquities and especially Circus Maximus where The Boss was playing, no more than a 10 min walk. Staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing too much bother. Buffet breakfast-plenty of choice. Garden- a beautiful oasis away from the crowds.

Our room was a twin overlooking the garden which was lovely, but the lights were on the dim side, making it hard to read at night. Could also do with bedside lights for both beds. There was a staircase in the room which served no purpose whatsoever other than to take up space and more light. Tea and coffee making facilities would not go amiss although the complimentary Prosecco was most welcome. Having said the above, the room was perfectly adequate for our stay of 4 nights.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! It's incredibly easy to find, and you can walk to the square effortlessly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, offering a very comfortable stay. The host was amazing—extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everything you need is within walking distance!

Kolbe Hotel was as I expected. A friend recommended it to us. We had dinner on 1 evening and this was excellent and we had breakfast every morning, again this was good. The hotel is a few minutes from the Circus Maximus and a 15 minute walk to more central area such as Colosseum. We used Uber to get around if further than 25 min walk for example to the Vatican. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

On one evening we waited for bar service outside on the terrace as the bar seats inside were busy. Although we had been given menus for drinks no one came to us, We then tried to buy at the bar when we had waited for 25 mins and were told someone was coming. We gave up and went to bed after 40 mins. This was the only negative about our whole trip.
