Fantastic location, but so quiet! Bonus that there is a kitchen museum that shares the courtyard. The staff were delightful, friendly, proactively helpful. Take a bottle of wine back and they will set you up not only with a corkscrew and glasses, but fun snacks! Lovely cafe bar for breakfast and several restaurants literally underneath the hotel (Guenda is amazing!). And don't miss a visit to the church right behind the former monastery. Highly recommend!

The staff is absolutely delightful. Whether Sarah, Marcella, Ludovica or Andrea - they made me truly welcome and made me smile every day 😊. The location is perfect for excursions on foot into Rome; several smaller restaurants and cafés are just around the corner. The bus stop for buses into town is close by as is the metro. The hotel is built around an inner courtyard into a monastery; rather charming. I had a single room. It was small but fine as everything I needed was intelligently provided.

The bed was very narrow. I think the last time I slept on an 80cm mattress was when I was 5 or so; plus it was not a comfortable mattress. And - I don't think anything can be done about that as the building is naturally very old - it was rather noisy. You can understand every word when your neighbours next door talk, and you can hear them snore.

Loved being across from the Circus Maximus and near several small restaurants and not far from the Colosseum We compliment the staff for being so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable: Sara, Ludovica, and Francesco. the room was very clean and the house keeping staff was very accommodating. although there was no elevator the staff helped us carry our suitcases up and down as we have stability issues. The aperitif on our last night was unexpected and excellent. The courtyard was also a fun place to relax

Better places to hang clothing and towels some kind of safety bar in the shower to hold on to would be helpful

The hotel is situated in a beautiful building with a lot of charm and character. It’s a 10min walk from the colosseum and about 20min to some of the other attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and the staff were amazing. They were accommodating, and were always available to assist us with booking taxis etc. we loved our little anniversary surprise in our room too!

On the first day that we arrived (Sunday) the hotel courtyard hosts a market with some performers and it was rather loud when we were looking forward to having a nap after the day of traveling. Thankfully this only occurs at the weekends. The rest of our stay was really pleasant.

Great location, close to the colosseum and roman forum/palatine hill. Other attractions are also within walking distance if you don't mind walking for ~30 minutes. The beds were very good and comfortable. Wifi was also good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We also got upgraded, which was very nice. It was possible to store our luggage in at the hotel for our last day since our train left in the evening. It was also possible to use the toilet and the lobby at the hotel when getting our luggage.

There was some traffic noise from outside that could be heard into the room. There was also some sort of party space in the inner yard, which was noisy in one evening, but the noises stopped around midnight.

Once you walk into the property, you feel like walking into the old roman era. The staff was kind and it had all facilities we needed. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby. It is a hidden gem attached to the roman forum. After we had a long day visiting colosseum, palestine hill and roman forum, we could take a nearby exit and come to the hotel fast.

It is not that we didn't like so much. We like walking around the city we visit. We walked a lot to go to the tourist attractions but managable. The bus stop is nearby so we could have used it. The nearby coin laundry place is in Trastevere which is 15-20 minutes walk away.

This hotel is amazing. It looks like an ancient castle building. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was the best room I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It is full of character and antiques. The staff was super friendly, I love that even doe we checked in at around 10am they had the room ready and were super welcoming. The room itself is just wow, the first floor is a gorgeous living space with a nice table for eating and getting ready or drinking coffee. Upstairs is a gorgeous bedroom with electonic windows for natural breeze, and there are curtains to get good sleep. The courtyard is gorgeous too. Great Location, about 10 min walk to the train station and the bus stops right in front of the hotel making it super easy for transportation. You can also walk to the colosseum from here and most other places. Right next door is a really good restaurant for lunch/dinner and down the street was a really good breakfast place for some coffee and pastries with lots of locals. We loved this place, did not want to leave the room.

Everything was amazing! My room was clean, spacious and nice. I loved their antique touches in furniture. The bed was comfortable and bedlinen was good quality. There is no elevator but the stairway was very comfortable to go up to the third floor. Plus they helped me with the suitcases at check in and check out. So this didn’t bother me at all. Even I was worried when I was making this booking… Also the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone was super nice. They offered a dining experience and New Year Eve celebration at their neighboring restaurant and it was AMAZING PARTY with the delicious dinner followed with DJ&dancing !!! I will definitely stay here again in future. And I highly recommend it to anyone.

When I was checking in and checking out there were parked moving small trucks and it was not easy to go around them. It was unpleasant experience but I guess it happened only because the new year party at the neighboring restaurant…

First of all I would love to thank the tremendous team for their kindness. We had a tremendous stay at the hotel, I booked this hotel as a secret to propose to my partner, I mentioned this and they upgraded our room and gave us champagne which was so unexpected, it was a really kind gesture and it truly made the event for us special from the get go! They were amazing with keeping us update with local attractions, delays for public transport and other things, I cannot compliment the staff enough. The hotel is in a prime location for the local attractions 15 minute walk from most places , we walked everywhere. The room was fantastic I would highly recommend the presidential suite and especially any room. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and kind gestures , we will definitely be coming back here 10/10

Excellent location, walkable to everywhere and right beside the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus and Colosseum. Hotel itself is a beautiful building with courtyard. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions, advice and booking us transfers. We stayed in the Presidential Suite was very spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and came with coffee machine and some sweet treats provided. Really good air conditioning. Nice bathroom with big shower. Bed was ornate but still very comfortable.

Considering the price we paid, coupled with the reviews we had read, we expected the presidential suite to have more to it in terms of extras provided. Wouldn’t usually expect this but when you read that others were provided complimentary drinks etc. it’s a bit disappointing to not receive same when you’ve booked the hotel’s best experience available. The layout of the room was not great, with plugs in random locations far from the bed. Finally, there was a pretty loud music coming from a bar or nightclub nearby which wasn’t ideal on our first night (a Friday). Wasn’t an issue on the Saturday or Sunday however.
