Fantastic location, but so quiet! Bonus that there is a kitchen museum that shares the courtyard. The staff were delightful, friendly, proactively helpful. Take a bottle of wine back and they will set you up not only with a corkscrew and glasses, but fun snacks! Lovely cafe bar for breakfast and several restaurants literally underneath the hotel (Guenda is amazing!). And don't miss a visit to the church right behind the former monastery. Highly recommend!

Nothing! Everything was great!

The staff is absolutely delightful. Whether Sarah, Marcella, Ludovica or Andrea - they made me truly welcome and made me smile every day 😊. The location is perfect for excursions on foot into Rome; several smaller restaurants and cafés are just around the corner. The bus stop for buses into town is close by as is the metro. The hotel is built around an inner courtyard into a monastery; rather charming. I had a single room. It was small but fine as everything I needed was intelligently provided.

The bed was very narrow. I think the last time I slept on an 80cm mattress was when I was 5 or so; plus it was not a comfortable mattress. And - I don't think anything can be done about that as the building is naturally very old - it was rather noisy. You can understand every word when your neighbours next door talk, and you can hear them snore.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe area, It’s literally in front of Circo Massimo. 10 mins walk to the Circo Massimo tube station and the Colosseum or 5 mins to the bus stop. All the receptionists were kind and very helpful all the time. Spacious room with a kettle - coffee machine and some snacks. There are also a small fridge in case you need to keep some fresh food. Next to the hotel you can find a couple of coffee shops, a gelateria and a pub.

It’s about the bathroom: broken shower head holder. When we got back to the hotel on our first day the bathroom floor was full of hair. When I reported to the receptionist he kindly said they would leave a note to their colleague who was working the day after so the floor was actually clean but unfortunately on our third day the floor was full of hair again. I didn’t want to go back to the receptionist as we were leaving the day after early morning.

Loved being across from the Circus Maximus and near several small restaurants and not far from the Colosseum We compliment the staff for being so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable: Sara, Ludovica, and Francesco. the room was very clean and the house keeping staff was very accommodating. although there was no elevator the staff helped us carry our suitcases up and down as we have stability issues. The aperitif on our last night was unexpected and excellent. The courtyard was also a fun place to relax

Better places to hang clothing and towels some kind of safety bar in the shower to hold on to would be helpful

Buongiorno a tutto e Salvé, Ti amo vostre hotel storico e fabbolossa. I really enjoyed my stay. The historic location, gracefully curated and selected fusions of the traditional, the intangible and the modern in a beautifully designed interior heart which reflects the grand exterior radiates warmth, welcome and ...have presently ran out of apt "w" words of assonance so let's say old worlde class. The well appointed room was most comfortable and equipped and all the subtle extras were appreciated. The location of course within the falling leaves of the Palatine, one of the 7even Hills of Rome and the naissance of the city itself is simply stunning and made one feel like Sarah Palin who when asked about her foreign policy experience during her public life stated that she could see Russia from her back door. For me, however, the change maker was the vitality, friendliness and knowledge of the always hospitable staff...and there is one hidden gem there in yere beautiful, insightful and vivacious manageress ZaraThere was always lovely interaction between all in the hotel and the Museo di Cucina just across the way...that could and should be marketed for it's artighianale and heritage distinction as it's a fabulous bonus to have on site.. Thank you again for making my Stay a memorable experience, Molto grazie, Daniel

From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with this hotel -the beautiful garden and the incredibly warm welcome from the staff made such a great first impression. My room was clean, with a lovely view. I booked a small one, but honestly, it felt quite spacious, more than enough for me. The biggest highlight is the location: just a short walk to the Colosseum, and the Termini train station is easily accessible by metro. And of course, the garden and the surrounding neighborhood with ancient Roman ruins right around the corner make it truly special. I really couldn’t recommend it more!

The hotel is situated in a beautiful building with a lot of charm and character. It’s a 10min walk from the colosseum and about 20min to some of the other attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and the staff were amazing. They were accommodating, and were always available to assist us with booking taxis etc. we loved our little anniversary surprise in our room too!

On the first day that we arrived (Sunday) the hotel courtyard hosts a market with some performers and it was rather loud when we were looking forward to having a nap after the day of traveling. Thankfully this only occurs at the weekends. The rest of our stay was really pleasant.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was incredibly kind, proactive, and welcoming, which made a big difference. The room was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and met all expectations. The location is a bit far for walking to some parts of the city, but taxis are affordable and easy to find, so it wasn’t a big issue. There was a concert nearby during my stay, and while I was initially concerned about the noise, it actually wasn’t too bad—and it even added a bit of fun to the atmosphere!

The room was on the smaller side. It wasn’t uncomfortable or impractical, just a bit less spacious than I would have preferred. Also, the hotel is located a bit farther from some parts of the city. We were aware of this when booking, but it became more noticeable once we arrived. Fortunately, taxis are affordable and made it easy to get around.

Our room was clean and simple but with more unique decor than a typical hotel stay. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard leading up to the rooms, the comfort of the bed, and the hospitality of the staff. We easily walked to the Colosseum and Roman Forum in 15 minutes or so, while feeling set apart from some of the main tourist spots of Rome, and enjoyed a cafe breakfast and afternoon gelato just down the street.

There seemed to be a police station nearby, as there were many sirens through the night that caused some noise, and the curtains were quite thin which may necessitate an eye mask for the morning light, but these did not bother us too much from the otherwise pleasant stay.

The style & architecture of the property was beautiful, situated across from Circus Maximus and walking distance from the Collosseum There are a small group of local Italian restaurants literally next door which serve delicious food, our favourite being 075 Zero Settantacinque II Monastero Collection room was spotless, the double bed extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly & helpful, even if we all got a bit ‘lost in translation’ at times. We loved our 5 night stay there & would definitely stay again
