Location was great, it was really private and the popular places not far away. Has a menu were you can order a lunch or a dinner at the reception. Breakfast was okay, different Italian cakes and croissants as well as vegetables, eggs, yogurts, cereals. Staff was really welcoming, always asked if you need something more and made you feel comfortable. Room was cleaned between our two days of stay. They had all the things you need - shower gel, shampoo, conditioneer, even body scrub and intimate wash, body cream.

The only problem was the sound insulation through the doors. Had a room 11 which is right by the breakfast place and you could hear all the noises and talks from there in the room. A big problem for late sleepers, couldn’t sleep because of the noises. And couldn’t understand how to turn off the lights in the bathroom. When going to the bathroom at night, they switched on and only after some time switched off. Hair dryer was very heavy and not so good, took a long time to dry the hair.

Beautiful little retreat within close proximity to the Colosseum (walking distance) and other cultural sites. Staff very friendly and provided some great recommendations for us. Breakfast was good, the pool area was sweet and their pasta dishes they serve are fab if you want to eat in.

Sink and shower in our room didn’t drain very well at all - we were on the top floor. Hotel arranged a taxi for me from the airport - I provided all the details so that the company could track my flight which ended up being late… resulted in the taxi driving trying to haggle with me and insisting on 50% more pay for ‘waiting’. In the end I refused and took an Uber for 50% less than the original quoted price.

The location is perfect for showing someone all the standard tourist sites, as well as some more lesser visited, but equally rewarding parts of the city. The property is an oasis in the heart of the Archaeological Zone; the pool is a great way to beat the Roman heat and mingle with fellow guests. Breakfast is wonderful and I recommend taking advantage of it. Staff are all amazing!! They make you feel so welcome, and want to return.

Our bathroom needed a little attention when we checked in. It was brought to the staff's attention and while we were having dinner the front desk agent personally rectified the situation.

Holy mother of god, this place is excellent! The main house is a AMAZING design pice from the 60s. It has such a warmth but also clean architectural vibe. I really really loved it. The whole thing has only 14 rooms, 7 of them in the main building and the rest in the courtyard (they are a little cheaper). The pool is clean and nice and the garden gives such a wonderful peace and quiet oasis in the middle of Rome. It’s 100 meters from the metro, 8 minutes by foot to the colosseum, there is 5-6 restaurants just 150 meters away (we ate at the two that had the best reviews on google, and they were perfectly fine Italian bistros). The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean. Rich breakfast for such a small place. I fell so lucky that we got to stay here and it was definitely worth the little extra money to stay in the BEUTIFUL main house. I want to go home to Norway and build one just like it.

Some details that are not thickened at the time it is remembered months in advance, such as that at a time of year the pool does not work etc. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom, the bathtub and the shower are in the same place and it is very high to get in and out wet, in fact dangerous since there is nowhere to hold you, so it is very easy to slip .so I recommend analyzing the bathroom well before booking an adult person I do not think I can access the shower .

Location was incredible, so easy to get to all of the major sights with short walks and plenty of bus routes and the metro station. It felt like a little oasis right in the middle of the busy city. The room and bed were huge and very comfortable, I loved the mid century/70s vibes of the hotel, this was unexpected. The pool was nice to have although we didn't use it much since it wasn't quite warm enough.

As per other reviews the lighting in the room was very confusing and unnecessary. It was hard to be able to turn all the lights off at night.

The location of the hotel is amazing, 1min to bus stops and subway, 10min walk to Colloseo. The area is very calm and safe. The garden is beautiful and it’s very green. There is a swimming pool, so in the summer it would be great to chill in it. Breakfast is okay, the choice is good but quality is 50/50, especially cafe latte ( no way to get it right). Rooms are stylishly made, shower is old already and when you wash too long, the water goes into the main room. Also you can’t close the room from inside ( kinda strange), there is simply no lock and you just trust the system. Overall, it’s clean, nice location, fine breakfast. For several nights it’s perfect to stay.

I loved the location, the staff and the swimming pool! The hotel is a quiet, secluded haven, just one street away from the Metro, the Circus Maximus and 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. Every member of staff was polite, cheerful and helpful. The pool was lovely, particularly after a hot day sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, with enough choice for all palettes. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the pool. The aircon wasn't as strong as I'd have liked, but was still a comfortable temperature.

A quiet green oasis in the historic centre of the city. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good value and delicious, and the staff were the highlight of our stay.

The bathroom has a rather inconvenient design for the bathtub, it's too high to comfortably step in. The screens do not prevent the water from staying in the wet zone and you end up with the bathroom flooded every time you shower. The bathroom also lacks hooks or rails for hanging towels. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not the best, especially the bathtub area.

Fantastic location, very close to the Metro and Open Top Bus Tours, and with a couple of excellent restaurants and a supermarket within an easy walk. The swimming pool and gardens were relaxing and enjoyable, and provided a great contrast to relax after sight-seeing. Breakfast was lovely with a good array of food and very good service. All the staff were helpful throughout our stay.

The air-conditioning wasn't quite up to standard so our rooms were always on the warm side (although in fairness we were there in a heatwave with daytime temperatures in the mid-30s.)
