The hostel's location is just perfect - it really lets you fully experience Rome, as lots of attractions are within walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the personnel is friendly :) In spite of inconveniences I'm mentioning here, I still think it's a great hostel to stay in, especially during low season (I stayed there in January). I have to admit that during my stay the awkward bathroom "situation" didn't bother me much, as I was berely crossing anyone in there. Although, I'm not sure I would choose this hostel during the high season, as a female solo traveler.

There are some improvements that could be made, concerning bathroom's. First of all, they're mixed which doesn't really make sense as the hostel offers the possibility to book a bed in all female room. Also, at least at the floor where I was staying, there where two bathroom areas, so one could be easily dedicated to women and other to men. It's impossible to lock the door of some toilets (even when there's a key inside, it doesn't seem to work). Shower cabins don't have locks and what's more - there's no "dry zone", just the shower cabin straight away, which is quite inconvenient.

I really like the location. I think its in a great neighbourhood for good Roman food and major sites are walkable. I bought a Roma pass but barely used it because everything was only really up to a half hour walk.

No hand towels or hand dryers in the bathrooms. A lack of privacy in the bathrooms for example, theres a huge window in the bathroom you can see into and the shower doors are only frosted in the middle so someone tall enough can look into the showers or if you are shorter than 5’4’’ anyone outside can peak under and see your butt.

This is a new hostel, so don’t be concerned about the lack of reviews! Modern and clean bathroom Very good aircon in our room Lovely neighbourhood. Trastevere, cute shops, restaurants and lanes all in walking distance. Short bus or walk over the bridge to the main attractions. Had a simple but nice breakfast both mornings, and enjoyed sitting in the main area.

Didn’t seem to be as social as other hostels, but perhaps this is because it’s new. Still met really nice people. I found it hard to find the entrance of this hostel- aim for Sant'Isidoro Pizza & Bolle - Ripa Grande, go in the gates and turn left to a glass door.

Dear Borgo Ripa Urban Travel Team, I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the wonderful stay at your hostel. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, welcoming, and comfortable. Your hospitality and helpfulness truly made my visit enjoyable. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was both friendly and relaxed — exactly what I was hoping for. I also appreciated the check-out surprise :) I’ll definitely recommend your hostel to fellow travelers and would love to stay again if I’m ever back in Rome ♥️. I will do it again 100 % Thanks once again, and all the best to you and your team. Warm regards, Orkhan Mammadli 🇦🇿♥️🇮🇹

Friendly staff and 24 hour reception, nice courtyard outside, AC in the room. Sheets and blanket provided, comfy bed. Bathrooms are cleaned everyday and there's a women-only bathroom too. They will also hold on to your room key when you go out, which is great if you have a habit of misplacing things like I do.

The water in the shower stops every 10 seconds, which is a little annoying but not the worst, and there isn't any place to store your toiletries in the shower, so you have to put them on the sink counter outside of the shower stall. The lockers don't have any locks provided so be sure to bring your own.

Nice staff, convenient location, and reasonably priced.

The hostel is very difficult to find (because of poor signage). This isn't the fault of the hostel itself. Local bylaws prevent them from putting up a big sign. This should be better communicated to guests. You also need a code to enter the building before ever checking in, which is a little unusual. This was communicated in an email. However, this very important information was easy to skip over (which I did) and negatively affected my first impression of the hostel.

I highly recommend this place for those who want to visit Rome and be close to the main or center areas. This is walking distance from the Vatican City and of course the Trastevere area (which is full of life during the day and especially during the night and beautiful churches for hearing Mass and prayer) and the river outside of this vicinity makes the stay more lovely. The staff is really nice as well, there were two of them during my stay. And they are accommodating to guests as well. I like the lobby as well where you can sit and relax. And the free water provided in the lobby. I like that there's storage room for luggages and bags that can be used for free.

The bathrooms are mixed. I would shower fairly early to avoid unexpected incidences. During our stay, they have started to blur the shower doors as well because it's fairly transparent and it only covers the sensitive body parts during shower. And there are no locks in the toilet and shower doors. I would appreciate if the doors can be locked for privacy since it is a mixed bathroom.

- nice location in a historical building, close to the center of Trastevere, Campo de fiori etc. - comfortable beds and spacious areas - responsive and helpful staff

- while the single beds are "equipped" with lights, cupboards and outlets, the twin beds are not (there was one hard-to-reach outlet behind my bed), which means people in these bads depend on other people when it comes to light and electricity - the showers are quite impractical: there is only a ceiling shower head (no hand-held for people who don't want to wash their head), small, have no locks and no shelves, right next to the bathroomndoor, so you have to be very careful when opening thr shower door and showering), the lights go on and off automatically and the button needs to be pushed constantly for water

Loved the property, staff was amazing :) A/C was great and so needed with the heatwave!! All the basics you need. Very safe, and comfortable. Restaurants downstairs too outside, very lively and beautiful grounds. Trastevere has great night life right outside on the back streets of the old neighborhoods- and even more on the Tiber river walk :) highly recommend this!! Do not miss it. Tons of people, food. Drinks, little stores and just hanging out on the river bank walkway. Very comfortable and was packed. Start to right of the property, and walk down then walk to the left and you’ll see how busy it is on the other side. It goes on for awhile. Close to the Colosseo too! Easy access via trams and metros. Use google/apple maps.

Romes nightlife ends at around 2 am, per Rome city ordinance. Naples is open til 4/5- 6/7 am depending on club/bar. Just for reference ;)
