I enjoyed the air con was always working and could be set to your needs! The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helped and organised everything so well. The water system was great, no issues with shower pressure, no issues with flushing of toilet etc Location was amazing, perfect for being at the centre of it all. Restaurants, shops and monuments all close by. Booking system for car transfer was incredible too. Less stress of booking outside.

Sometimes when you heard other people use the water, the pipes could be heard from your room. This wasn’t a major issue, but sometimes in the morning it would wake you from your sleep. But nothing that spoilt the experience at all!

Our stay at Hotel Forum was even better than I expected! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. I had asked the hotel team to help organize a small birthday celebration for my boyfriend, and they truly went above and beyond — it was absolutely brilliant! Thoughtful, elegant, and perfectly done. Our room had a stunning view and the style and decor were just beautiful — classic, charming, and full of Roman character. It was the kind of space you don’t want to leave. A huge thank you to the entire staff for their exceptional service — warm, professional, and always attentive. Honestly, it was the best of the best. We’ll absolutely be back!

Loved the whole atmosphere, the design of the place. The staff was very friendly and polite and helped us with everything we needed. The room was nice, had everything we needed. The location is excellent, it's right next to everything you want to visit in walking distance. We recommend it 100%

To be honest, we weren't very pleased with the restaurant. I believe to be separate from the hotel but somehow being on top of a 4 stars hotel we expected a wider variety of food for breakfast. We only had scrambled eggs with toasted bacon as a prime food and everything else was just sweets and pastry. It wasn't the best food unfortunately but we ate there because we were enjoying the view.

There is no better location for our first time in Rome. We were actually surrounded by the main sites of the Forum and Coliseum. They managed my many questions via online and scheduled the airport and port shuttles for reasonable costs. Many decent spots for dining nearby, close to all the tours and services like the pharmacy, luggage and of course chotakis. Check in staff and bellman were all very welcoming and helpful. Grabbing taxis and providing directions, even with our very limited Italian. We secured 2 rooms, a junior suite and a deluxe twin room with a beautiful view of the Forum. Extremely reasonable rates. Just over €2k for 3 nights each room. Very safe neighborhood. The breakfast team was generally very friendly. One young lady with long blond hair seemed a little irritated but maybe not feeling warm that day. We will definitely return to Hotel Forum.

Everything was wonderful!! Thank you for an awesome stay!

The hotel had an old world charme that was real. I found that very refreshing! It was the little things… one example were the cakes on offer on the breakfast buffet. These were presented under a glass cloche! Not plastic!! I love these little details. There was a fully stacked minibar etc… Our room was tastefully decorated and cozy. Everything was functioning well and the sound proof windows allowed for a good night sleep whereby the installation of high quality inside and outside shutters permitted for the creation of a nice atmosphere in the room at any time of the day. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant & roof top bar with the one of a kind view over the Forum Romanum and beyond made our - sadly much to short - stay a unique experience. Great little gem of a hotel with great food, drink and staff - Please keep up the good work! I highly recommend

Location was superb. We were 10 minutes from the Colosseum/Forum. We also could easily walk to other sites such as Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. The hotel actually overlooks some of the ruins which is really cool. Breakfast was amazing and huge variety. Our bedroom space was fine, the bathroom very small. However, the shower even though small very strong water pressure. The roof top bar was nice feature. Prices of drinks up there expensive, however, the view and 3 little snack bowls (peanuts etc) nice treats. Other huge feature was a small convenience mkt right out the front door. We were able to grab our diet cokes, beers, water for super cheap. Nice that hotel room had small refrigerator.

Just the size our our bathroom (but we picked a smaller room for ourselves).

The location was perfect. This was my 4th visit to the eternal city, but first time in the Monti area. The Hotel Forum was clean and comfortable. The room got a little on the hot side. We were there in March, so too early for AC. Opening the window worked well. The breakfast was great. Be sure to check whether it is included when you book the room.

I initially booked a triple room, both to have our son there one night, and thinking it would be a bigger room. I learned later, this is not the case. The triple room was in a dark and difficult to get to area of the hotel. I learned after, I said something, that you can just book the kind of room you would like, and then have a cot ordered, if needed. The hotel was very accommodating after that first night. They moved us to a much nicer room, with a window not facing a wall.

The location for Rome is out of this world. Just over a 20 minute walk from the train station to begin your visit then minutes from the Colusseum & literally on the Forum. The rooftop breakfast is the perfect way to start the day! Personally I found the room very comfortable & the staff all very friendly.

Something that maybe just can’t be helped but the wi-fi was really quite patchy in the rooms. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying for when you get in. If I was booking again, as much as the setting for breakfast was fantastic & the coffee was really exceptional, I found it a little bit expensive for what you get. Also, the rooftop bar aeperol spritz being €20 was quite steep!!

Incredible location and amazing view from restaurant. The property was charming and authentic. The staff were very friendly and nothing was ever too much. Room was clean. I celebrated my 40th birthday and the staff did some special touches to make the occasion memorable. Would highly recommend.

Our double bed was two mattresses pushed together (although the matress was very very comfortable ) and the cocktails in the American bar were beyond expensive, which you also had to make a reservation for, you couldn’t just turn up which is a shame not to have access to a bar during a hotel stay.

Excellent location. Stunning roof-top breakfast room with wide choice of buffet breakfast options and amazing views. Roof top bar with amazing views (when not being used for a private function!)

I was expecting a larger room based on the price and advertised square footage, but much of this was taken up with a large wardrobe area that led on to the bathroom. This was adjacent, but separate to the bedroom and effectively, unusable space. The bedroom itself was therefore smaller than expected for the price paid and rating of the room, with no comfortable seating area. The advertised pictures of the rooftop area show it as an open-air, outdoor space, which was one of the attractions when booking. This was not the case - it was a covered rooftop bar that was closed for a private function on two nights of my four night stay. The lack of expected, relaxing outdoor space was a disappointment.
