This hotel is fantastic!! We were immediately greeted by a wonderful man named Santo. He was warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The room was great for 3 of us and location was perfect, near all the attractions and great restaurants. The hotel and room were well decorated, clean, and very accommodating. They let us check in early and stored our luggage on our last day of sight seeing. I will stay at this hotel every time I return to Rome. Stay here. You'll be happy you did!!
I can't think of a single thing that disappointed us. I've booked a lot of hotels and airbnb around the world and this is one of the best I've ever booked.

Staff were so friendly and helpful.. I felt at home there. They even offered me a better room with a larger window at the front of the hotel. The room was small but perfectly formed, and the shower was great, too. I also got complimentary prosecco and chocolates on my arrival and again when I moved to my new room the next night. Location was great right next to the Colosseum and the metro. Plus there were plenty of restaurants around the hotel.
Pity there was no breakfast, though you could get it at the restaurant/ cafe next door with a discount .

Our stay at this small boutique hotel in the heart of everything was amazing. Staff very helpful. You are walking distance to all major historical sites/museums/galleries. Next door is a small coffee shop for morning expresso/cappuccino and pastries. Several restaurants in the same square. Didn't bother us but every time you leave the property you turn your room key in to the front desk. When you go to your room you have to put your key in a slot that turns on the electric. Don't worry AC still runs without the key in the slot so your room is nice and cool when you come back in from all the walking/exploring. I actually found this very smart because that way no guests could leave anything plugged in that may start a fire when they weren't in their room. Also since it is an old building the elevator is small and actually comes out 1/2 way between floors so you either have to walk up or down a 1/2 flight of stairs to get to your room. Again didn't bother us but if you are unable to climb stairs at all you might want to double check they have any ground floor rooms. Staff held out luggage when we arrived before rooms were ready for check-in and offered to hold at check-out if we needed. This will definitely be our go to for accommodations when we return to Rome and we WILL!
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at the hotel. Only negative is wish we had scheduled to be in Rome longer before our Transatlantic Cruise. We both fell in love with the city, history, culture and people!

All of the staff at this hotel are very helpful and friendly especially Santo who was exceptional and is a credit to the hotel. From the moment you walk in the door you can tell the cleanliness and quality of the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and the addition of the welcome gift of Prosecco was a nice touch. Bathroom modern and spotless. Beautiful view from room. Location perfect, few mins walk to coliseum and Roman forum and easy to walk to most places.
I’m a light sleeper so the outside noise from nearby restaurants was a bit of a pain but that’s to be expected in this location, also the noise from toilets disturbed me so next time I’ll bring earplugs.

This place is unique! Warm welcome, with all necessary information regarding to top tourist places, we were welcomed by Mariella. It was a great experience, Mariella loves her job, and I felt like home there. Room was very nice, as well as bathroom, 24/7 reception made us feel safe. Santo is another person who is a great spirit of this place. I will definitly return when in Rome again. Such places are like pearls, you know you are welcomed, and that makes your staying amazing. Thank you Mariella and Santo for your hospitality and kind care. You are amazing ♥️ Breakfast is available NEXT door, so you can enjoy staying with beautiful place and view. THANK YOU!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted like family by Santo! After a 13 hr flight and finally making it there, I was tired but excited. He helped me get my bags to my room. They don’t serve food, but he told me that the restaurant directly outside gave discounts. I’m not really a breakfast person, but I did go once and it was delicious. There are actually 3 restaurants right in front, another around the corner and another across the street. There’s also an espresso bar, a gelato shop and convenience store in the same section. Even though all these are close, my room was very quiet. You are literally across the street from the coliseum, short walk to the Trevi Fountain, very close to the metro. It also has plenty of places to explore. I could actually see the coliseum from my balcony. I loved that I could open the windows and patio door to get fresh air. It’s just what I was looking for for my first stay in Italy. I wanted a boutique hotel not just another room from the same hotels that are everywhere. The staff here is amazing! Santo and his daughter, who I ran into in Trestevere(sp) are wonderful people! They and everyone at the front desk were full of information of where I wanted to go and see. Every recommendation was perfect. I guess you can tell by my review, I wish I was there now! They did get booked up, so grab a room while you have the chance.

The folks at the front desk were so helpful and always friendly.
The room could have cooler. It was over 100 degrees in Rome while we there and the room did not cool us down.

Visited for several days on our first visit to Rome. The location is absolutely amazing. EASY walking to the Colosseum, the forums, Palatine Hill, and many other major historical sites. Convenient also to dining, shopping, and taxi access. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. The hotel is older (understandably in light of its location), but well-maintained and clean (daily housekeeping service was great!). It isn’t “fancy,” but it is welcoming, comfortable, safe, and provides an excellent location from which to explore the historic sites of Rome.

The location was excellent and safe, which was important as I was traveling alone and visiting Italy the first time. The staff were so kind and I was well taken care of. Immediately upon arrival I was given a map and recommendations of places to see. They have a small elevator to go up with luggage. The room was spacious and with a beautiful view of the Roman Forum. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable so I slept very well. Location was close enough to Termini (20 min walk) that I just walked from the station. Food options were plentiful right outside and everything was within walking distance. Farthest place I visited was the Vatican which was a 50-60 min walk. I would definitely stay here again!
There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. The only thing was the water kettle had some soapy smell but when I told the woman at the front desk, she immediately exchanged it for me. Great service!
