Great Location. Very good and stylish room. Complimentary foods/drinks

I really didn't like that they don't respect your privacy even though I put on "Do NOT Disturb" sign, they entered the room every time. Ok its nice to have fresh towels and stuffs but if I don't want it, I expect you to respect my privacy.

A beautiful room in a wonderful area, tall ceilings, comfortable beds (even the twin beds for our picky teenagers!), a beautiful bathroom! Our host was lovely and gracious and the rooms were spotlessly cleaned and restocked daily. Loved the yogurts, espresso pods, milk and other goodies that were replenished as well so the kids could eat breakfast quickly to start the day!

It was quite loud (city sounds, trucks rumbling by, glass trash crashing, people talking, music playing, etc) but we were so tired that we really weren’t bothered by it much. If you live in a city already, you won’t be surprised.

Location is great: Close to sites and taxi stand but quiet and relaxing. The workers are pleasant and helpful

Because of a pilot strike, our airline rebooked us to leave a day early. Despite having some notice, Alessandro charged us fully for the missed day. When we arrived, the toilet wouldn't flush, and it took them a day to complete the repair. Alessandro provided minimal compensation (the value of the tax) for our not having a toilet for an entire day, which seemed less than fair to us.

A super nice suite right in the center of the ancient city. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the terrace and enjoying the views of the whole city. The staff is super nice and the room was very clean. We had a great time there. Hope next time when we come back to Rome, we can stay for longer!

This room was our favorite during our entire honeymoon. We got the Junior Suite with Balcony. The bed was very big and comfortable, tons of space, clean and lots of complimentary items which was greatly appreciated. The shower was the largest out of all the places we've stayed during our honeymoon, this is great having after walking around and sweating all day. It's hard to say you are pleased with everything from a room, but MySpanishSteps delivered and we would definitely stay here again next time we're in Rome. Host was very communicative and on site most of the time.

Not much to complain about. Every once in a while we'd hear our neighbors coming in/out of their room, but it wasn't a problem for us. Sometimes after walking around the city all day, it became a burden to walk up the entire Spanish Steps to reach the outside doors, you can go the back way in the neighborhood but it was just as steep of a hill that would take longer to reach the building. That's it really it. The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons, and MySpanishSteps was worth the stay.

We stayed in the junior suite with a balcony. As long as you are reasonably fit, and can manage up the Spanish Steps, then the location and the view over Rome is spectacular . When I return to Rome this will be my first choice of places to stay.

It's not a criticism but just be aware it's a guest house and not a hotel . The room was cleaned every day and the apartment couldn't be faulted.

Lovely place to stay in the centre of the action in Rome. Very easy to walk to all the sights, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful big rooms with everything you need and very quiet too. Alessandro our host was very welcoming and quick to help with anything we needed. Amazing place to stay in Rome.

My Spanishsteps is a very nice and modern, clean and most comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It is very nicely appointed and decorated in a modern style. The hotel is very ideally centrally located right next to the top of the Spanish Steps and is conveniently just a short walk from Via Del Corso, the prime shopping street of Rome, Piazza del Popolo, the Trevi Fountain and Villa Borghese. High end shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets all abound within the immediate area.

Great location- walking distance to great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes. Comfortable room with tea, coffee facilities, water and biscuits- replenished daily. Alessandro greeted us on arrival- very friendly and sent us recommendations for local restaurants and cafes

Although the location was great- the downside was the amount of noise in the area throughout the night. Our room (106) was right on the street side with multiple windows without much of a view and we were woken up multiple times throughout each night by the sound of people, bin men, delivery drivers, etc. I guess this is the price you pay for the location. Water pressure in the shower could also have been better.
