Good location and excellent breakfast!

Garden view room was disappointing because there was no garden. Wasn’t informed that the hotel to airport shuttle wasn’t included in the price. Didn’t know about the daily 15 Euros fee that had to be paid in advance in cash. Only one chair in my room.

Location is brilliant. Literally 10 mins walk to all the key tourist spots. Staff were friendly and very accommodating with our request for an early check in. They also offered us a complimentary breakfast that is usually 20 euros per person and it really was very lovely! The room is comfortable and clean. Nice big bed and good shower pressure.

There isn’t much we didn’t like. Our only qualm being that we booked quite last minute so paid quite a lot to stay for the weekend. I’d assume if you were planning further in advance then the value for money would be better.

- Location was absolute best: 25m from the metro, lots of restaurants, grocery shops, pharmacy all very close by. Hop on and off bus stop at the plaza too. Close to Trevi fountain too. - Beautiful rooms combining Italian antiques with modern comfort: the best pillow options ever seen, huge and soft towels, all luxury available. - Very clean - Very accommodating personnel - Quite silent rooms compared to many other hotels.

- The beds are a little short for tall people and bone hard. This is great for those loving hard mattresses though. - WiFi was a little less in one of the rooms (we had the executive suite)

This is our second stay in Palazzo Caruso and it is definitely one of the best stays if not the best in Rome, the warm welcome, quality service and amazing hospitality makes it top of the list. The hotel is facing Fontana del Tritone with walking distance to major city attractions and shopping areas. I would rate it 10/10 and would definitely choose it in our next visit.

Simply nothing

Excellent location in the Rome center at piazza Barberini, few minutes walk from main city attractions (Trevi fountain, Forum, Spanish steps), lots of good restaurants around. Hotel is a well-renovated traditional residential building, with quality fit-out, spacious and well-equipped rooms, comfortable bed, helpful and friendly staff, room cleaning everyday, good breakfast with a lovely view of piazza Barberini. Definitely value for money!

Sounds may spread from other room, but it mostly depends on personality of your neighbours)

Lovely little hotel right in the centre, by a Metro station, and a short walk to the major attractions. Small roof terrace for breakfasts is a plus. Everything was really clean, bed was very comfortable, bathroom completely modern. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We had a slight problem with the shower and it was fixed right away. Would stay here again.

The location was excellent and within walking distance of most places we planned to visit. Taxi station and public transport, bus and subway, are within a few minutes walk.

The shower stall in our room had no handle bar and the floor was slippery.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. The stay in the room was very pleasant and although the walls are a bit thin we enjoyed blissful sleep. It's located right in the heart of Rome, a few minutes walk from the Trevi fountain.

Staff attention was rather poor. When we got there (18pm on a Friday), we had to ring the bell and they took some time to open the door. When they did, they "lead" us up a floor of stairs, not offering to carry our luggage not having welcomed us at all. We later found out there was a lift... Then, they gave us the wrong room and challenged us when we said we had booked a room with a view. They later admitted the mistake. Although we didn't book breakfast, we were never offered it nor mentioned the lovely rooftop upstairs. There was also a lot of back and forth with fees and payment.

We loved the location - Piazza Barberini…which is close to much of the historic center of Roma. Louisa was wonderful, as was Nicola, who contacted us prior to be sure of our arrival time. The staff in the breakfast room were A+ (sorry I don’t know their names!). We celebrated our anniversary there and on the request of friends in the USA, the hotel delivered a beautiful chocolate/hazelnut torte to us at breakfast. They went above and beyond. Our rooms were perfect, with a wonderfully large shower, very comfortable bed and a view of the Bernini fountain below in the piazza. There were many restaurants nearby…..all sorts - cafes, bars, pizzerias and full on restaurants. We will stay at the Palazzo Caruso next time we are able to visit Roma.

The heat of the season….or the unseasonable heat was too much….but the hotel had nothing to do with that. Their air conditioning kept us cool inside. Really this hotel was top notch.

Clean, excellent location in barberini square for shopping and other needs around, staff are very gentle with us, it’s my second stay with them.

The property has some building works for new looking, the works weren’t noisy.
