Pluses: (1) lovely hotel, the website pictures are true to life; (2) two restaurants and a bar on site; (3) nice quiet area close to parks.

Things to take into account: (1) bring your own gown, slippers and a hand-and-body lotion; (2) a "Cosy Up" double room is perfect for one person but may be a bit too small for two people; 3) breakfasts are decent but I would say I should not have paid for a breakfast-included stay - there are options outside; (4) no bottled water provided (not a big deal but I would have liked to know beforehand); (5) while the area is nice, it is not really a walking distance to the centre.

The vibe of the place was happy vibes. We watched The Euro cup in the hotel bar & we had a great time! The restaurant has good options. The room was good & clean. The balcony has a street view. It was quite at night so we had a good sleep

They don't have someone to help us with the luggage. The lady at the reception helped us before the check in. at check out we asked for the lottery but they said we have to pick it up.

Great vibe and decor. Friendly staff. Large bathrooms. The Hoxtons have a very distinctive style to them and this hotel was no exception. Good location too, outside of the super touristy area yet easy to get around Rome.

Our sink was clogged upon arrival but was fixed within an hour. Besides that I had a great stay here and would recommend!

Nice modern hotel with a cool retro style. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfasts. I was upgraded to the room with a very nice and big terrace.

The hotel is a bit off the historic center of Rome and with the heavy traffic in Rome it takes some time to get to the center. But the part of the city is very nice and calm with Villa Borghese and park nearby. The rooms are quite small and there is very limited space to put your suitcase and hand your clothes. Tyere is no iron and ironing board in the room, you can only get a steam iron from the reception

We loved the hotel and the neighborhood. Our experience starting from checking in was exceptionally smooth and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff are extremely courteous and cooperative. The neighborhood is just fabulous, sporting a number of amazing food joints, cafes and bars. It is 5 minutes from Villa Borghese and the adjoining park, one of the most serene places you will find in an otherwise bustling city. Public transport is quite close to the hotel and quite convenient to reach the city center. You can book a private airport transfer to and from the hotel, which is surprisingly cheaper compared to Uber. We loved the ground floor ambiance for drinks and small bites. If we were nitpicking, it would have been nice to have a small wardrobe in the room instead of an open rack, and the breakfast options might have been a bit better given the rest of the facilities. Otherwise, we were really pleased with our stay, and would recommend this hotel to everyone for both leisure and business.

My son and I stayed here for our four night visit to Rome. The staff from check-in to the restaurant servers was outstanding! The entire hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our room was excellent, clean, and very stylish. Surrounding area and neighborhood is comfortable and safe to walk and enjoy local restaurants and shops. I would stay there again.

The location is a little too far out from the main attractions in Rome to walk, but taxis are readily available and not too expensive. There is a trade-off on the location because I think the area is nicer than staying right in the middle of everything. I would definitely choose to stay there again due to that factor.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has a stylish, well-thought-out design. The rooms were nicely arranged and comfortable, making the stay feel relaxed and easy.

On the downside, the lack of wardrobes made unpacking inconvenient, and the breakfast selection was limited with few appealing options. The breakfast staff, in particular, came across as stiff and rather unpleasant, which took away from the overall experience. The location was fair but not especially central.

The little touches: a good hairdryer, super pillows, fabulous shower and washing amenities, light near the bed to turn the main light off, water and fresh milk everyday, a fridge, handle on the toilet lid, wash next to the b-day, comfortable chairs and all this in just the bedroom. The bar, restaurant and chill out areas were comfortable, atmospheric and well staffed. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, a couple not so. But, Francesca and Martina were by far the most attentive and accommodating hospitality staff members I have ever met. I would return based on their service, true advocates for this brand. The hotel is a little on the outskirts but next to the beautiful Borghese gardens, which we took the pleasure to enjoy one morning before breakfast. Not a big problem as the local transport is good and taxis ordered from the hotel arrive in minutes. This hotel helped make our Christmas stay extra special. Thanks to all at The Hoxton Roma.

Being charged for a cafe latte and americano from the bar area when not having these drinks. This was on the final bill when checking out.

Beautiful hotel with a lively atmosphere in the lobby in the evenings. Multiple cozy spots to have a drink or a bite. Room was really comfy with beautiful linens and towels. Little extras like water and coffee and milk in the minibar. Super quiet! Fantastic, quiet location 10 minute walk from the Borghese and 20 to the Modern Art Museum and all that’s there. Walk downhill to everything else;-) Tigre market for snacks and a pharmacy for miscellaneous across the street. Lots of little restaurants and bars nearby. I’d stay again!

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food, coffee, cocktails in the hotel were very good! The style of the hotel from lobby to lounge to rooms was unique and fantastic. The Hoxton was very close walking distance to parks, historic sites, museums, and great food options.

Air conditioning in the lobby was a little weak, making it uncomfortable sometimes during the day to enjoy the setting. Adding a pool or gym in the future would also be nice. For this price point, most hotels that I stay at have amenities like these.
