Great hostel in an old building nearby the central train station. The staff was very nice and accomodating, especially the blonde Latvian girl at the reception - sorry, didn't catch your name! Also, the hostel has it's own cafe/bar across the street and the breakfast there is amazing.

It would be nice to put curtains around each bed - there's even a space for them. Also, the 2d level bunk in the dorm room was quite high above the ground and it was difficult to climb up to it

The Location is very enticing. Walking distance from Bus stations and Train stations. The Area is very well lit at night. The Yellow Square actually has two buildings each opposite at the othet side of the street. One building for the admin-receptions and shared kitchen, while the other is the sleeping are aligned with their Bars. The receptionists are very nice and very attentive, I was assigned to a bed that I have found out someone already took it. But the receptionist are well mannered and reaarrange it very efficiently. The Rooms are big and well ventilated. There are built in Passcoded Security Metal Deposit box in each side of the bed. The Bedsize is nice enough that I could sit up straight without banging my head. In each bed, there is a electric socket and bed lights. The Wifi is very fast and reliable. The Shower and toilet is in a one cubicle, it is well strategize built so that it would not facing the bed that we were sleeping in. There is a window that can be open for fresh air. Soaps, Shampoos and toilet papers are well provided. The lockers are under the bed which is spacious, just bring own locker for it. The Shared Kitchen is well equipped from Fridge, Tea pots, Microwave, and eating utensils. They provide also free Pasta, Olive oil and Cereals. They have an event in the bar and provide a 1 free beer for the guest. The well equipped Sensor Image CCTV adds the very good security for the guest.

The Toilet and Bath in a room is a little bit stiff. I hope there could be a little bit more space. The Space at the back side of the bed, that is where I have missed and have accidentally dropped my stuff without noticing. I hope the option to have a free red wine than beer at the bar. Because, I have learned that Italian Wine is very known product. I wish there would be a Free Storage Locker for the check-out guest.

- Location is 6 mins walk from roma termini - there is conad 4 mins away - i was in building E, 4 beds dorm room, i didn't hear any of the noise at the bar - clean n organised - free pasta at 8 - elevator

- wanted to check in 30 mins earlier, was refused - no food or drinks inside the rooms ( i did eat n drink ) u can't just prevent me ( they have 50 usd fine if you get caught drinking alcohol or eating inside the rooms ) - people complain about the bar noise in the same building the bar is - no shelves near the beds, so u have to keep ur daily stuff ( wallet,. phone...etc in the locker if ot fits) - don't forget the code

The staff is very friendly. There is a free water tap available at the lobby for you to use to fill your water bottle or cup that was very useful for day travel. The 4-bed room I stayed in had quite reasonable facilities that were clean. The location was very convenient for efficient touring of the city. As long as you bring ear/headphones to block out noise from other sleepers or the street during sleep generally there are no problems at night. There is an extra bathroom near the lobby in case one of your roommates is using the one in your room. Since YellowSquare is a franchise with branches in various European cities, there is a predictability in format and quality to their facilities that helps you know what you are getting into when you use another one of them.

Inevitably your experience will depend on the people who stay in your room. Generally they are friendly and considerate, but living habits can vary. I myself may have annoyed a few people with my habit of talking in my sleep.

There was a calendar of events available with activities on every night (e.g. Karaoke, trivia). There was also an on-site laundromat, cafe and gelateria that were super convenient. Of course, there was also the famous YellowBar which had a great vibe and was the focal point for most fun activities.

The location is not the best. Given the general unreliability of Roman public transport, we walked to most sites which is about 30-40 mins. The hostel also seemed to skew towards younger people (early to mid 20s).

Clean, nice staff, plenty of stuff to do with the hostel (nights out, tours etc)

Bathrooms were small and ventilation there was insufficient

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The flexible check-in was a great advantage, allowing me to adjust my arrival time without any rush. The place offers several outdoor activities, like karaoke, which was so much fun, and the Yellow Bar, where I enjoyed amazing discounts. Additionally, the on-site laundry service was super practical and helpful. Another great perk was the barbershop, which helped me freshen up during my trip. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from Roma Termini station, making it easy to access all the main attractions in the city. Comfortable accommodation, super friendly staff, and to top it off, free water throughout my stay. An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Rome with ease, comfort, and plenty of extras! Highly recommended!

Comfortable clean room for 4 girls with own bathroom, where it was shampoo, gel, soap, hairdryer ( when you switch off, it needs to wait a little to switch on again), a towel you can rent for 2€ and a shopper as a gift. A bed was comfortable with own light , socket and small shelf ( for me it was really cool ,cause I'm wearing glasses), but like a wish , it will be really good, if each beds have an own curtains, because the wall light shines brightly and can't be directed, we used sheets. When you arrived, you are handed a voucher for free beer and a discount to the bar, unfortunately I didn't have possibility to use it. The bar is in front of the hostel, so in the room it was quiet. Wi-fi was good.

These are just like nuances: - It would be good to have a curtain for bed. - A little far from the historical center, but for person who likes walking, like me it's not a problem or there are almost near a subway and buses stops. - The bar have thematical party every evening, so don't be shocked that early morning in the kitchen can be little bit dirty ;)

The hostel is very nice, the staff is very friendly, the bar in front is nice as well. 8 minutes walk to Roma Termini.

I wish the bathroom was split between bath and toilet just to give more flexibility to the guests. I didn't have any issues as the other girls didn't need to use at the same time I did, but I can imagine if all 4 girls had a pretty similar schedule, it would be a nightmare to share. The aircon is not the strongest, however it was enough for the weather (around 30C). Not sure if it would be enough for the peak of the summer (38-40C)

There were a lot of activities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was young and energetic but also laid back. They had their bar across the street with free pasta nights. The staff was open to changing our room when we had a problem with the room. We took advantage of their laundromat across the street. Dorm prices seemed OK, but our private room was a bit pricey in comparison to hotels in the area.

The room had a problem with a bad smell coming from the bathroom. We thought it was just old building smell the first night, but it was just too bad after the second night, even with closing the bathroom door.
