Central, spotlessly clean, great wifi, very comfortable, plenty of power sockets, laundry, cafe, games room. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect base for a visit to Rome.

In our family room the gap below the single bar in the top bunk was huge and the bunk bed was very high up - over head height. It was a long way down onto the tiled floor below. I’m not in any way a health and safety nutcase but I have to comment on this because a child could easily be killed if they roll under the bar and hit their head on the floor. The sign on the bed says it is not for use by under sixes but our young teenagers fitted cleanly under the bar as if it was not there. Easily solved by putting one of the parents in the top bunk, but I would urge Meininger to look again at this.

I came with a group for 3 days . Then I stayed 2 extra days after the group left. I liked the hostle location is close to the train central station and near to the bus station . The breakfast was so good and the staff their was smiley and nice. I also would like to thank Ali from the reception staff، Ali was so helpful he answered all my questions and he tried to accommodate me and my friend in getting the beds that we want in a doorm . Thank Ali for all your help. Definitely I would like to stay again in MEINNGER.

I found that the cost to store 3 bags was so expensive for me . It was euro 13 . I hope you can look into this issue. Thank you.

Super great hostel near Rome Termini Station! I booked for one night, and the only thing I regret is not booking more nights here. The employees are all supportive and helpful, especially Peter, who was incredibly kind during my stay in Rome! The hostel room was very clean, with two bathrooms inside the room. The bed was comfortable, and there was a large locker space to keep your luggage safe while exploring Rome. The location is super convenient, just a 5–10 minute walk from Rome Termini Station. In addition, there's a subway entrance and bus stop literally outside the hostel. You can reach famous tourist spots like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Spanish Steps in about 20 minutes. I sincerely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Rome, and I’ll definitely come back if I visit again! Thank you, Meininger Team! I hope I’ll have the chance to visit again in the future!

Literally nothing I don't like!

The room and en-suite bathroom were nice and big and they provided free towels and daily housekeeping. They have a vending machine selling travel essentials in case you're missing anything. The drawer is spacious and the girls in my room were really friendly too. The hostel is near the main station and has a Pam supermarket right next door which is really convenient for supper and snacks. The walk from the main station can be a bit sketchy at night but there are buses that go to the main part of town.

The shared pantry can get a bit dirty and crowded at times, maybe needs to be cleaned more regularly especially during peak hours.

Very convenient location with lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby,although it’s near termini the neighbourhood isn’t sus at all,I felt super safe at all times ⭐️

There are drawers inside the rooms that need a padlock to lock so unless you have your own you have to buy one,I didn’t need to use them but I think it would be better if the room came with a free padlock just in case ! Another thing is that some beds are right next to each other (like a double bed almost) so I would imagine it would feel kinda weird having to sleep next to a stranger idk 💀

The location is excellent. Easy walk from Termini station. Kitchen available to use for heating up food, making tea, coffee, and refrigerator for storing your foods. Don't forget to label your food, or it will be thrown out. I found the staff helpful, especially Igor, he was so helpful & kind. The other staff also great. I am an older solo traveller and always felt safe in this hotel. The WiFi was reliable for my purposes. The hotel in general and my room was very clean and fresh. I have also stayed in at Meininger in Bordeaux, France, and chose Termini Meininger for this reason. A great mix of people, good lounge to hang out in whilst waiting for train etc. There is also a supermarket next door. Prices average, selection good for travellers. Handy to good cafes, Bistros and Restaurants.

I didn't like the young noisy travellers who stayed close to my room. There is too much door knocking late into the night, doors banging very loudly late at night. I understand the excitement of school trips. Boys & girls excited and who will get together with whom! However, young people need to learn respect of other travellers.

Breakfast buffet is great and re-stocked, rooms are clean and comfortable, location of the hotel is within a walking distance to all attractions.

Luggage storage is charged via an app - 6.5 eur per bag and the bags are stowed in a storage room next to the reception; as check-in is after 3pm you have to pay this if you arrive earlier and want to leave your bags (we were a party of 3 and paid 19 eur for 4 hours of bag storage). As we had a late flight on our last day, we had to pay for that day as well. This is the only downside, as we already paid for accommodation and it is too expensive to pay for one bag.

We just loved the guys at the front desk. So friendly and helpful, and they speak a lot of languages between them. They really made us feel at home, especially as we had to return to the hotel when our train was cancelled due to a strike. Also, the location was good - close to Termini, walking distance to a lot of the tourist sites (if you are comfortable with a 20 to 30 minute walk), but the area around it did not feel particularly touristy, which we liked. There were local shops and restaurants close by, the streets felt very safe, there's a great supermarket (small one) next door, and - if you get the hang of the buses - a bus stop right across the street and two blocks down at a small square. There's also a metro station nearby, but we didn't use that. The place is clean and bright, there's good coffee and basic drinks and food in the reception, and a kitchen for guest use. They are open 24 hours, which is a plus if you need anything.

Breakfast it is was very good and the location it's was excellent and distinguished by its proximity to the central train station

The price was somewhat exaggerated given the time of the visit, as it was not at the height of the city’s tourist season, and with regard to the treatment of the staff, some of whom were wonderful and very nice, and some were not, and when there was the feature of reserving the bed you wish for, it was... It is very annoying that you do not have access to the lower bed even when I arrive at the place and only the upper one is available

The Hotel is so convenient , close to Roma Termini Station. The Hotel / room is Modern & Clean with great ambience, style , facilities and the staff we're friendly & helpful. Easy checking in , great customer service by the receptionist Erica. And easy check out as well, dropped the room key cards in the box by the reception. Over all a good hotel stay, and recommended for family or groups.

The room could be better if there was a tea or coffee station and an extra pillow and a larger blanket.
