The staff we're all so kind and helpful, and genuinely so. From recommending a wonderful restaurant, to holding bags well before my check in. The tiny patio off of the room was lovely for fresh air, the towels were big and cuddly, the décor was elegant and simple... but the best of all.... the bed and pillow were so comfortable ! After weeks of traveling, this bed was the best, and I hated to leave it for my early train. I've traveled for 30 plus years, and this hotel just has a certain sweet quality that I look for when on the road a lot. I was here for work, and normally stay in Trastevere when I come to Rome, but this was so handy to the train and métro... both 5 minutes away.

I didn't like leaving that cosy bed

This is a great hotel at an excellent location - within walking distance to two metro stations with access to both metro lines, plus a bus stop and a big supermarket across the street. The hotel is very clean and cozy. There was one thing that really stood out, and that was the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly, polite, and going out of their way to help and assist with all queries and requests.

The room we had (triple) was on a smaller side feeling a bit crammed. Some rooms (ours was one of them) face an opening to the back of the building and don't get much natural light. To be fair, after reporting this to the front desk we were offered to swap the room, but for a short stay we decided it was not necessary.

Our family (two adults and two teens) stayed eight nights at Hotel Alpi in one of their family rooms. We had a great experience. Summary of likes: 1) The front desk staff is great – all speak English and are incredibly helpful in answering questions, making suggestions, and calling a cab. The hotel lobby is staffed 24 hours a day. 2) The family room we stayed in was large. We had a king bed and asked that the other bed be divided into two twin beds. 3) The room is well equipped – expresso maker, hot water kettle, hair dryer, fridge, and an amazing amount of storage space for clothes and luggage 4) The room was spotless clean – it was cleaned every day 5) The breakfast buffet includes croissants, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, coffee, cappuccino, etc. There is something for everyone. On New Year’s Day, they provided champagne as part of the breakfast. We ate breakfast at the hotel on three of our eight days – on other days, we ate at other pastry shops. 6) Lots of restaurants nearby. I would recommend Ristorante Pinseria Al 39 da Massimo (Italian), Inka Chicken (Peruvian), and Saravanaa Bhavan (Indian) 7) Most things in Rome (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.) are a mile away or less. 8) The hotel is near the Termini subway stop, a major train station, and a bus station.

The only downside is that it is a smaller hotel (40+ rooms), so it does not have the amenities that a huge chain US hotel would have (e.g., pool, large lobby area, gym).

Small warm hotel, front desk and staff are very kind and helpful. Overall i would say it is a nice hotel. the room was clean the hotel was very close to all public transportation you need. There is a very nice coffee place outside of the hotel and a decent size of a supermarket that you can get anything else you need

The size of the rooms are very small, with a shared balcony. To access the room there are stairs after you go out to the elevator so with the suitcases it is a bit uncomfortable. Overall i would not complain about anything else the room was clean the hotel was very close to all public transportation you need. There is a very nice coffee place outside of the hotel and a decent size of a supermarket that you can get anything else you need

I particularly appreciated that the breakfast staff furnished me with a little basket of gluten free bread, as I am allergic to gluten, when we had breakfast! Moreover, the hotal also noted that it was my birthday during the stay and surprised me with a "minicake" and a candle during the breakfast!

Everything was fine.

The location, near the main train station, was very convenient and also a lot quieter than being in the old city. Most attractions were within a 30 minute walk and, since it was near the train station, the metro was convenient for longer distances.. We had some good meals in nearby restaurants. We were lucky enough to have a little balcony to sit out on when the weather was nice (and it was nice most of our visit). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, although I would note that it was strictly a buffet, so only the coffee was made to order. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom quite large with good water pressure.

The location is near the main train station, which is very convenient for arriving from and going to Fiumicino airport. It's also relatively near to the city center, we could reach the Coliseum in less than 30 min walking and from there getting around the city to visit the main touristic attractions was very easy. The Vatican was also quite directly accessible through metro. The room was not very big, but spacious enough and had very high ceilings, which made it look bigger. It had the main amenities one would expect in a hotel room and the bed was quite comfy. There are many restaurants in the area and the receptionist gave us his personal recommendations which we really enjoyed.

Cleanliness was quite good, but our room had some ants, which wasn't an issue for us, but can be for someone else. The temperature was a bit too hot even when we turned off the heating in our room and the duvet a bit too thick. The hotel only had a tiny elevator, which wasn't an issue for us since we were staying on the second floor and taking the stairs wasn't a big issue.

Everything good. Comfortable beds and pillows. Room and common areas were clean. Staff was attentive. Nice hotel. Not sure if it's worth the price, but it was good to stay there. It's just a few meters from the bus station and 10 minutes from the metro and train station. There's a supermarket few meters away. Good and safe area to stay in.

It has a very small patio with tables to have something to eat but it is very small. If you need to use this area, bring with you all that you need to have a meal or snack there as there is nothing in there. A couple of times, there was an awful smell coming from the faucet. We reported this to the lobby for them to find out what the problem was. This is not related to the hotel directly, but they sell a tour from a company, Green Line Tours, which is a dissater. We recommend checking on Google the reviews given to any tour company first before buying a tour directly with your hotel or directly with any tours company.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail made all the difference. Our room was beautiful and it opened onto a lovely private balcony, which was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with views of the city. It was such a special touch that made our stay feel extra memorable. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, high-quality ingredients with a variety of options to suit all tastes. From freshly baked pastries and seasonal fruit to rich Italian coffee and bacon and eggs, it was the perfect way to start each day. The location was also ideal—tucked away on a quiet street, yet just a short walk to train and bus station, major sights, restaurants, and shops. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and authentic Roman experience.

Honestly, if we had to say one thing—it’s that the food was almost too good to resist! With such a delicious breakfast spread each morning, it was hard not to overindulge.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the hotel (I’d heard that some hotels in Rome can look quite different from their photos), but our stay was perfect. The room matched the pictures exactly, the breakfast was so, so good, and the staff were incredible—going above and beyond to help us and answer all our questions. We also booked a taxi to the airport through the hotel, which turned out to be a great experience as well: the taxi was spacious, we arrived quickly, and the driver was super nice and careful.
