This is the fourth time we have stayed at Anthony 47. The location is great-10 min walk from Termini and in a nice neighborhood. There are two grocery stores within five mins walk and a bunch of restaurants. There is a metro station like two mins walk from here too! The rooms are always clean here and the staff is very accommodating. The shared kitchen and fridge are a great size and are well stocked with supplies to cook your own meals. The normal rooms here are great but I would highly recommend the Jr suite-this was our first time staying in this room and it just had so much more space and a much bigger bathroom!

Our only complaint is the lack of sound proofing. You could definitely hear other people moving around and talking. This one con is far outweighed by all of the good things here!

Huge room with everything you need: wardrobe, table, small fridge, tv, hairdryer. It's clean and tidy. There is a kitchen where you can make tea/coffee and even cook. Hotel is located close to the metro/bus stop and not far from the railway station. At the same time neighbourhood is quiet and safe. There are embassies nearby so plenty of police. Grocery store is down the street.

There is AC, but it seems it's a central system for the whole building - you cannot actually control it. It was a bit warm in the room as the weather was quite hot.

Location is great, metro is really close and 1 stop from central hub (Termini), couple of nice restaurants and stores 5-10 mins away (recommendation for Vicenzo Capuano and Gelateria La Romana). Accommodation matches the photos and descriptions, so what you see is what you get - nice room with a bathroom, also kitchen/dinning room in the shared area. Good service (we didn't wait for the hosts or response when we arrived/had questions). Short room cleaning is done every day, towels changed on request (towel on the floor is considered a request) or on every 3rd day (sheets changed on 3rd day as well). Baggage storage was simple to arrange and could be picked up whenever after checking out which was useful for our last day of stay.

Nothing to really complain about, bed is a bit hard (wasn't a problem for us, just compared to a "usual" bed). AC is central and was cooling a lot and all the time (we didn't mind, but I assume it could be a small issue for someone who avoids it during the night or something similar). We didn't ask for changes in the AC since it was ok for us, maybe it can be adjusted for your stay if there's a need.

I stayed there 2 weeks and I got everything I needed: a comfortable bed, fridge, private bathroom with shower and bidet, the access to a shared but well-equipped kitchen. Everyday I got free coffee capsules and a room cleaning service.

I had to pay an extra charge for a check-in after 20.00!!! Yes!!! It wasn't at midnight or so!!! I think it is an exaggeration and an attempt to force some extra money. I deeply disapprove such practices which become more and more common these days.

This is the third time we have stayed at this property, and it is really a terrific place to stay! It is clean and modern and very comfortable. The shower was a good size and the bed was comfy. There is a small kitchen area with a stove and fridge and eating area provided for communal use, and it includes a coffee maker and pannini press. There is also a fridge in the room. The manager, Antonio, is very attentive, and responds quickly to messages. He was very accommodating and flexible and even met us early before check in time so that we could get into the property. The location is terrific-a 6-7 min walk from Termini Station and on a safe street. There is a bar and a Conad grocery store within 4-5 min walk. This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the train and subway, and is only 20 or so min walk to most of the major attractions.

The coffee machine was broken:(But everything else was fantastico!!

My stay at Anthony's B&B was great. The room was big enough, clean, everything what is needed, was there. It was a little bit dark due to the fact that the window was to the garden, but i was the whole day out, so it did not bother me. The contact with the staff was easy and i got promptly my responses on whats app. The location of the B&B is just great. A lot of buses and metro nearby. I felt safe there due to the fact that there were few embassies around. The kitchen was fully equipped. We got new capsules for the coffee machine every day, there is a microwave and a toaster, so you can prepare any breakfast you want. Everything was clean. There are also quite nice restaurants around. The best one is a peruvian one (not an italian one!) - Inka Chicken. It's worthing visiting.

There are two things that could work better: 1. WIFI - it did not work the best. It was hard to skype with camera on due to the low quality of video; 2. Bed - for me it was pretty hard and also the pillows were not comfortable; If someone likes hard beds, then he should not have any problems

Everything was very good. The staff was super nice and willing to help and the location is exceptional, just a few minutes walking from Termini and it is also very easy to reach touristic points by walking. There is no breakfast but there is a shared kitchen and coffee machine to be used, which is great. The room is very comfortable.

The only thing that could be improved is the soundproofing of the rooms; when there were people eating in the kitchen or hanging around the small common room, there was a lot of noise in the room (I understand it could be the group itself which was noisy, but still :) ) Anyway, I still recommend it a lot!

The location was peaceful, still lots of restaurant in the vicinity. We'd like to highlight the Peruvian restaurant Inka Chicken just a street away - might be noisy due to the hall-like dining space, but the food was delicious, and a welcome change to the otherwise classic Italian cuisine of the week. The Italian food was mostly great too, only the airport food really disappointed us. Probably due to the Turkish Embassy close by, there were armed personnel at street intersections night and day, but nothing to be alarmed about. Distance to the nearest subway station was very short, and distance to the Termini train station quite decent either walking or via that subway. The shared kitchen amenities were a little lacking but got improved soon after we mentioned about it, so many thanks to the attentive staff. Room cleaning was also without complaint. The filtered water post and the gas stove in the shared kitchen were great. Our pedometer logged a formidable number of steps during a week's stay, so a true health vacation too. Even though hectic on traffic and at places packed with tourists, the air in Rome felt surprisingly fresh.

The central tourist attractions for the most part were not within decent walking distance, but accessible with public and commercial transportation, or with good shoes and ample time. The shower cubicle leaked water to the toilet side if not careful with the hand-held shower (the rain shower didn't cause much leak). The radiator in the bathroom was cold, so rain soaked clothes didn't dry that easily.

We had 'Room 1' and we were very pleased with the size of the room, and the bathroom facilities. The shower was strong and hot, and everything was pretty clean. The shared kitchen area was good, with plenty of utensils and kitchenware for use which made our stay in Rome a lot more budget friendly as we could cook our own meals if needed. There is a Pam grocery shop literally just down the street too. The staff member who greeted us on arrival was polite and friendly, and I have to say that the communication from this place before we arrived was also brilliant. We liked the security of the building, and the key fob doors made getting in and out super easy. The neighbourhood was fine and not too noisy at night, and it was walking distance to Roma Termini. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here.

There was just one really annoying thing which has stopped us rating this place as excellent. It happened every single night of our stay - there is a strange consistent humming/buzzing noise coming from above the room or to the side of the room. It started in the evening and went on throughout the whole night. It changes tone and frequency at lot which makes it massively distracting, and at first we thought it could have been the refrigerator or the AC unit in the room but it was neither of those things. It caused a bad night's sleep and we never heard it during the middle of the day which made it more annoying when it came on at night.

The room was clean, spacious, and the staff was really helpful, nice and reactive when needed. The cleaning is done everyday.

Not soundproof enough, you can hear everything happening inside and outside the hotel. The wood blinds let the light pass through, which was inconvenient for me.
