Staying at this B&B in Signa was an unforgettable experience—unlike any I’ve had before. It truly felt like coming home or visiting my Italian family. Irene puts so much love and attention into every detail, and you can feel it the moment you arrive. Everything is beautifully clean, thoughtfully arranged, and full of charm. The location is perfect—just 20 minutes by train from Florence, with frequent connections—so it’s both peaceful and convenient. I absolutely loved spending time with Irene, Bambi, and the sweet cats. The warm, communal breakfast with the other guests added to the cozy, homey feeling. The view from every window is breathtaking, overlooking the rolling Tuscan countryside. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Staying at B&B L'Orologio was an unforgettable experience that felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family. The warmth and hospitality made all the difference—ensuring that every need was met. What truly stood out was how we were fed and cared for, just like family members. The personal touches in every meal and interaction made us feel incredibly comfortable. If you're looking for a place where you can relax and feel at home, this is it! Highly recommended!

Driving a wide car might be an issue, since streets are very narrow and one particular turn made me 10 years aged I think - that bad it was. Everything besides that was just amazing.

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Great view over the town. Irene picked us up from the train station and provided a personalised breakfast each morning with a beautiful cappuccino. Highly recommended. Convenient for the train in and out of Florence or Pisa.

Nothing to do with our accommodation, but there are limited taxis in the area. You can book through AppTaxi, but late night options are limited if at function further afield.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Irene really did make it feel like ‘home from home’ from offering drinks etc when we arrived through to specially made cheese and ham toasties for breakfast! Irene organised transport from the airport and even took us to collect our camper van from the nearby depot giving us a guided tour of the area to boot! Can’t wait to do another camper relocation and continue our conversations!

Irene was the consummate host. Very obliging and organised to drop us off and pick us up from the train station and suggested a restaurant and booked it for us. Fantastic meal. She knows what there is to know in Signa and Florence. Very friendly. The accommodation is lovely spacious and clean. And a lovely breakfast to boot

Amazing view looking towards Florence and the surrounding countryside A short walk from the train station. I will certainly be booking here again and highly recommend B&B L'oroligio. A true Tuscan treat!!

We had a great time at this B&B. The view is breathtaking, it is very close to the train station which takes you to Florence in 25 min. The host is great and was offering us custom breakfasts every morning. As a purely introverted person I felt calm and welcomed:) Thanks for the stay and keep it up!

This charming B&B is among those rare places where a sense of ease washes over you the moment you step inside. Irene, the owner, embodies exceptional care and warmth as a host, accompanied by her delightful companions, Bambi (dog) and Nikita (cat), her two lovable pets. Anticipating her breakfast every morning is an absolute delight, akin to the experience of indulging in a lavish meal at a luxurious 5-star hotel. Additionally, there is a rooftop deck where guests can relax and relish the breathtaking views of Signa. Without a doubt, this place receives the highest recommendations.

Locating the place can be somewhat challenging. It may be beneficial to provide travelers with a map for easier navigation. Moreover, it's worth noting that the presence of steep inclines could pose difficulties, particularly for those with physical limitations.

L’Orologio was the best B&B I ever stayed in. It is located at the top of a hill within the walls of the old medieval town of Signa. Although very high up it’s easy to get about if you like walking. My husband and I discovered little alleyways which took us to the main town and slowly made it back up despite me being totally unfit. For those wanting to travel to Florence the town has a regular train service so there is absolutely no need to move your car once is parked. The owner is very happy to pick you up or drop you off should you want to get about. The B&B itself is a medieval building that has been adapted to modern living. Is fresh and airy, very clean, exquisitely decorated and very welcoming. The room we had had plenty of space, lots of storage and a window overlooking the hill and the bathroom was also very modern and clean.. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lots of choice. But the best for us was the host Irene. We had the most warming welcome on our arrival and we actually felt like part of the family. Irene is kind and extremely knowledgeable about all the goes on in the area and has recommended a few very good restaurants to us. We are already planning our next stay in this beautiful B&B

Irene is the most amazing host. She goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they want and need. The view from the B&B is amazing (especially the sunrise). Everything is comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. Strongly recommended!

You will need to take a lot of stairs to get to the property. Irene was very kind to give me rides from the station, but you may want to coordinate ahead of time if you have mobility issues. I would still stay given how wonderful everything is (especially Irene).
