The place is really beautiful, the view from the room was great, we enjoyed everything. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and attentive, the food both from breakfast and dinner was super tasteful. They gave us tips about trains and things to see. We had where to park the car, so overall a very good accommodation. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Not a great issue or anything, but maybe worth mentioning, we had a few mosquitoes as the windows and balcony door did not have any sort of net.

The location was perfect. The villa although it was built in 2000 provided the feel of an old Tuscan villa. I stayed in apartment no.1. very clean and although I stayed for one night the peace and tranquility was perfect Immersed in the rolling hills of Malva with lush greenery of vineyard's and olive groves gave a true Italian countryside time Breakfast was good and worth the €9 I would certainly return

You certainly need a car to get to this place I was fortunate to have a lift as working nearby

Very friendly and accomodative managing Lady. Excellent food on the estate. Bistecca alla Fiorentina is a must. Chef/husband is highly skilled in preparing and fileting. The son is perfect in tending guests with wine and food. It is a big estate, and the nimble staff is handling it well most of the time. The swimming pool is excellent. The view is gorgeous. Family atmosphere - one feels very comfortable!

Minor cosmetics on the estate can always be touched up. Some guests might be discouraged with a number of steps. The estate is on a steep terrain, so be prepared to climb the stairs.

Breakfast was great each morning, with fresh pastries/tarts, Italian meats and cheeses, juices, etc. on the top floor with a balcony that overlooks the property and valley. Pool is beautiful and well kept. Pool deck is a great location to relax while unwinding from the 3 flights from the US! Great location with access to the train station in Signa for travel to Firenze (Duomo, Accademia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery) or Pisa (Piazza dei Miracoli). Gorgeous view!

Honestly, the only item that gave any issue - the on site parking. It is on a very steep slope. But the same steep slope gives the hotel multiple floors and the great view! If we had parked at the bottom of the slope in the flat parking area, it would have been easier, but a much longer walk to the room.

Great and stunning area with so much to see nearby - especially Artimino at the top of the hill and the views are stunning. It was an easy 30 mins from Firenze airport too so great for us for a night before we flew. Family run business and they were all extremely helpful and friendly with excellent English. The food was of a high standard and we ate sitting around the swimming pool.

The mosquitoes at dinner - they could provide anti moz burners or spray

We absolutely loved it at villa la malva, Jonathan Nellie and the whole family/ team members made our stay simple wonderful, The Hotel has a lovely Italian/ rustic vibe to it and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was lovely on the patio and Kirstina and her team couldn't do enough for us..

Nothing to add .. All I would say is that you should consider having transport in this area , we didn't but Jonathan was very obliging whenever we needed to go out ..as there are no local taxis..

The location was fantastic! It was very clean and was great for a 3* Food was good! The staff were very helpful, engaging and accommodating especially Jonathon who went above and beyond (he was exceptional), he made our stay very easy in terms of transport. Nothing was too much trouble. He even came to our rescue after our taxi dropped us at the wrong place, he then arranged to pick us up at the end of our evening.

Nothing, I think it was excellent value for money.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, secluded and quiet, conveniently between the major tourist cities (Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano) all of which can be reached within 1 hour drive.

The problem is you want to visit all the tourist spots but also want to spend as much time as possible at the beautiful pool. So you need to photocopy yourself or just spend more time there. :)

Jonathan was brilliant - a great communicator, very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Beautiful views from the Villa. We had a lovely evening meal by the pool.

The evening meal was a bit pricey, but nice. Parking is available and manageable, but tricky due to a steep, curved driveway, and was very busy. The bed frame was detached from the base, so any movement from us made a lot of noise. The air con was fine at Medium, but very noisy at High (suggest a problem with the fan). Bathroom was very small, so may cause accessibility issues.

The staff were very friendly and willing to assist in any way possible. The location was good and the views were amazing.

The room was very hot. We were told that due to government regulations, the air conditioning could not be turned on until June 15th. It was the end of May. Also, the parking area isn’t very big. Lastly, while the room has a hot plate for cooking, there is no refrigerator in the room. We wish there had been a refrigerator.
